|  The Big Bang Theory Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,
That all started with the big bang!The show is centered on five characters: roommates Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, two physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology; Penny, a blonde waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's equally geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali. The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is contrasted for comic effect with Penny's social skills and common sense.Three other supporting characters have also been promoted to starring roles: Leslie Winkle, a physicist colleague at Caltech and, at different times, a lover of both Leonard and Howard; Bernadette Rostenkowski, Howard's fiancée, who is a microbiologist and part-time waitress alongside Penny; and Amy Farrah Fowler, a neurobiologist who joins the group after being matched to Sheldon on a dating website. (per wiki) I have to say at first I looked at this show like O.o;
However now, I just love it and watch as many episodes as possible. I find comfort in
a show about nerds.  However I have not been able to watch all the episodes because
I joined the game late. I do watch the re-runs and I have decided that I do like the later
episodes with Bernadette and Amy in them. Its quite interesting. I love the theme song and
Sheldon's Bazinga. Hehe I love it. :3

| I'm late with the whole series but I do love it. I DVR it every time it comes on. So yay re-runs. The episode where Sheldon is in the ball pit and yells bazinga, made me laugh so hard. Every time he would yell it out at Leonard, I'd start laughing again. lol Best episode.

| I find this show to be funny at times, but being a nerd myself and knowing people who are just as awkwardly intelligent as the characters, it seems a bit bland sometimes. |

| At first when I watched it I thought the same thing at times it can be, but most of the time now that I watch it. It doesn't seem like that anymore. I don't know but I still like it Its getting better with age. |

| I loooove this show! Its my favorite sitcom that's on right now. I'm a bit behind on it though, as I keep missing the new eps, but I watch the syndicated reruns all the time. I'm a huge nerd too and I find it hilarious. |

| I used to love this show. It used to have some really clever jokes. But now, it's a relationship show with characters that so happen to be nerds. And the jokes aren't funny no more |

| So did anyone watch the premiere last night? It was okay. It had quite a few laugh out loud moments. I don't think I can sit though another season of overly dramatic Penny and Leonard relationship issues though and last night episode kind of hinted to it. They need to either stay together or break up for good. |

they are like Jakice and Celso from that 70's show. they got together and broke up lots of times. |

| I like this show a lot. The last few episodes have been kind of "eh" for me, but I adored last week's episode. Finally some progress in Leonard/Penny's relationship, and they *finally* addressed Sheldon's... Sheldon-ness a bit more.
I know they talk about it a little, but this really felt more like a "Huzzah, declaration of Sheldon being on the autism spectrum somewhere!" |

I am one of very few non-scientists of my friends, and on a few occasions my fiance and his friends were making fun of me using physics terms that I did not know.

| I've seen a handful of episodes. I watch it whenever I'm looking for something to watch and nothing else is on, its decent and I've gotten some good laughs out of it.
I like how its about a bunch of nerds, which is a nice change, but at the time I don't like how it still plays into those same tired nerd stereotypes, it just feels like its directed more towards "normal" people. Because of that, and being total geek who interacts with fellow nerdy/geeky people all of the time, I find myself having a hard time really getting into it.
Meh, maybe its just like with me and The Office. It took me a good number of episodes before I could finally get into that series... |

| I honestly did not think I would like this show, but somehow those characters got under my skin and they are just there to stay. It is funny and shows a different side to things, normally all we see on tv are attractive people falling for attractive people and fairytale endings. It is nice to see a change with more normal people.
I will say the way it is continuing seems that it may end soon, and that may be just me. It seems with everyone getting into a relationship and the characters slowly changing from what made them really funny. I personally think they are trying to make Leonard and Penny like Ross and Rachel. This may be a complete misconception, but that is just what I have seen going from watching the first few seasons to the most recent.
I still LOVE the show, it makes me laugh and is great when there is nothing else to watch or you have watched all the DVRed shows. =D (And I still watch the newest episodes once a week) |

| My roommate and I saw a few episodes of this in our dorm back when we lived together for two semesters. It's funny, but it's not something I'd obsess over, and the only reason we watched it was because our TV sucked and only had thirty channels, Nickelodeon NOT being one of those channels! |
