The Doctor's Wife is probably one of my all-time favorite episodes and the fact Neil Gaiman wrote it is even better. I expect great things from him this season.

Christmas Special trailer...I'm already dying

Ooooh that looks promising! Definitely more promising than the last Christmas special. xD

Not to mention, my favorite pair are there. (Vasta and her maid. ...Ishipthemok?) I can't wait for Oswin to be back. (I mean..the actress. I really do love them together)

I'm pretty sure the Oswin from that first episode is going to somehow be Clara. The way they were like" oh no she's not the same character" at the beginning of the trailer is toooo suspicious. lol

Well they did it with Freema. Why not? XD?

(did I mention I am a big fan of Martha? Yeah, I'm a Martha fan..and Sarah-Jane Smith, and Ramona and Ace. Not so much Peri though.) xD Anyone watched any of the old Who?

I really love you for being a Martha fan. I hate how much hate she gets because she had to follow up after Rose and all that crap >> I love Sarah-Jane too, but I'm not as well versed on Classic Who as I'd like to be (it's getting there, I just watch too many shows as it is >>; )

I know. it's terrible how people treat her! She's awesome. I swear, I cannot watch Family of Blood and that Human epsiode without feeling both extremely sad for her and uncomfortable.

But, she's completely kickbutt. I just love how she and Donna bond and everything. Like, I intensely want a show about Donna, Martha, and Rose travelling around and kicking but. (Doctor's Angels anyone?)

With Old Who, it's often I find a companion I happen to watch/stumble across and then I want to watch their entire run. Like Sarah-Jane? I not only marathoned the Sarah-Jane Adventures (which were very lovely and I utterly squealed that Eleven got to meet Sarah-Jane.). But I wanted to see her start, so it's like the tail end of three? Maybe the beginning or middle of Four?

Then I ended up liking Four so I wanted to see that run, but then I ended up liking Ramona a lot..and Ace.. xD; (see where this is going yes?).


Though, I'll probably be terribly unpopular by saying that my least favorite Companion was Rose. She was my 'first' companion, and for some reason, I couldn't like her. I think it's mostly because of Mickey. I felt terrible for him.

But I sort of kinda liked her in the end a little- I just find it a little unfair that she basically gets a clone of the doctor.

I can't wait to see it, even when I wasn't so trilled to have a new companion after how much I love Amy, I do actually want to see Clara and see how she is.

I hope she doesn't get so much hate like Martha did, I know (and I'm one of them) that Amy has a huge fan base, but as much as I love her I think Clara deserves at least a chace to show how awesome she is. And besides if she manage to get The Doctor out of retirement then she will win my heart, we all know how The Doctor can be when he's depressed

Omg I love Martha too! Martha deserves ALL THE LOVE for having to put up with 10 being a giant BUTT that entire season... So far the only companions I really have grown to not like is actually Amy Pond. I used to not like Donna, but she grew on me pretty fast and after the fourth season finale, I totally jumped on the lovealltheDonna ship. XD

And as far as Classic who goes, I really have watched hardly any of it.... I should reaaly fix that.

Jenny was awesome! I wish they'd do something with her. The way they wrote her off made it seem she could come back at least ONCE. And yes I agree! Martha and Donna need to be besties. lol xD

Even though I feel utterly horrible for saying it- I think Jenny's show should probably replace the Sarah-Jane Adeventures demographic now that Elizabeth Sladen is no longer with us. (which still makes me feel utterly sad because now no other Doctor character will meet her.)

But it feels the same way with Ramona and the Doctor's Granddaughter, Susan. (Both were said to have died in the time war, but honestly I haven't actually read/seen them die so..possibilities..).

A third on the whole Rose/Handy thing. I can't see a happily-ever-after for them (and I love going that route when I roleplay him on Dreamwidth.) Billie Piper wasn't even really gung-ho on the idea either. She felt it wasn't really fair considering he wasn't the Doctor. Honestly as much as I love Handy, it would have been awesome for him to have sacrificed himself or something.

As for the Christmas special, my Mom wants to watch it this year which says something. She loves the killer snowmen idea.

I'm really digging that outfit of his. I agree that Matt Smith isn't conventionally good looking, but his personality is just so awesome that who cares! He's such a sweetheart!

But look at this picture of him. He does take nice pictures.

Yeah! There are some photos out there where he looks so handsome in (like the above). I think he reminds me a bit too much of an ex for me to jump on him like others do. xD
