Steamstress went into her room and left the door open after contemplating slamming it as hard as she could then went to work with an evil smirk on her face as she started to make a new liquid for her gun that would shoot out a mixture that upon contact would turn the splashed one against their teammates... "HEHE, This will surely help our cause...."

☼ Sailor Sun ☼

She saw the pointed, glinting needles aiming for her, but there was little she could think to do to repel them. The young woman blocked her face with her arms, at least, wincing when the needles dug into her. If there had been another attack that followed, she might have been in trouble. Thankfully, the women left as quickly as they had arrived. As it was, Sailor Sun recovered enough to painstakingly pull the needles out. It hurt, but it wasn't a pain so strong as to incapacitate her.

When Sailor Splash asked if she was okay, Sun was able to reply in the affirmative. She was glad to hear Sailor Koronis reply similarly, although he seemed to be more injured than she was.

She waited quietly as Sailor Alpha "awoke" and the others began talking, ready to follow along wherever they headed next.

Ruth immediately left the still-talking store associate to find the lead investigator, her program whizzing through police databanks to identify the blonde woman seen within the store before each robbery - honestly, how did they miss that. She could practically hear the mayor's speech as they handed over award after award. Maybe she should become a police detective? 

... on that salary? HA!

And it'd be ridiculously boring, considering this case had them stumped. Nah, she'd offer up her services as an incredibly expensive consult. 

She stopped just outside the collected circle of uniformed officers, planted on hand on her hip, and called out in a NOT ENTIRELY ANNOYED voice, "I know who did it."

NPC'S-Cops

A few cops were stationed outside and two of them turned when they heard someone say out loud that they knew who did the crimes that they were pursuing. The walked over to her and said, "look lady... it's not right to mess with the police but we will hear what you have to say."

Ruth rolled her eyes, took off her goggles, and turned them to face the police before starting four simultaneous video feeds. "This person was at all four sites either before or during the robberies." She twitched a finger, and an image window popped up, "Your database shows that the culprit is none other than "Melissa Smith". I can forward her address to your drones and patrol cars if you need it."

Sailor Splash told her group, "I am glad we're all still here, but, we need to William to a Urgent care to get fixed up then I think we need to go find that Rosegold women again to ask information from her." She then started off to an Urgent Care building which thankfully was close by.

She walked with Sun and Alpha as they took Willaim in to get fixed up. "Sun, Alpha, we need to do our best still and I really think we can take care of this soon."

The appointment didn't take that long to happen, as the injury wasn't extremely severe, and William was in and out with the group pretty quickly. He was feeling fairly refreshed, so one "Koronis Power, Make Up!" later, he was back to being Sailor Koronis.

TIMESKIP!

Fourty-five minutes, really? That's how long it took to get everyone to a pre-established location? She rolled her eyes, her arms crossed and foot tapping behind the police barricade outside of 'Melissa Smith's house. She had originally intended to deliver the information, stand back, and wait for her award, but with how slow things had been moving she opted to come along to point out any other inefficiencies at work and crush them before her hard work was wasted on a technicality. On the way over she reviewed a few rules of law about evidence handling and arresting perpetrators and she'd be keeping a close eye on the officers to make sure they were handling everything correctly, else her story not even make it to the news, let alone the ears of prospective employers (or her own employer, who will definitely beg to keep her and give her the space she required to advance her tech). 

Honestly, she didn't know why they didn't just knock down the door and go in already.

As a colorful group arrived she sighed. Of course the Sailor Senshi would show up now and try to take credit for this.

C:\Sailor Alpha


As she arrived at the enemy's house, she noticed a woman who is seemingly very upset at something, and is also standing close enough to the crime scene while on her own that she must have something to do with it.

She walked up to her and gave a friendly wave and a "Hello!"

Oh great, they're trying to make nice. She wasn't going to fall for it. She had the backlogs to prove she figured it out and got here first; they weren't going to horn in on her accomplishment. "Hnm," she replied to the friendly "Hello!" called to her, though her blue eyes slid over to the subject as she noted the slight electronic tang to her voice. One carefully-shaped brown brow raised. An android. 

It wasn't enough to have redundant sailor senshi, they were now purposing androids to be ADDITIONAL REDUNDANT SENSHI. Her hands tightened their hold on her upper arm as anger swelled up inside. Just who was her creator?! What kind of moron did this?! She could just imagine their incompetent whine - 'oh no! there are less than fifty senshi living here in COMPLETELY PEACEFUL Crystal Tokyo! I think I'll build a fully functioning android and direct her to be YET ANOTHER senshi rather than doing something useful like using her computer-guided digits to be a traveling surgeon to areas who have little access to state-of-the-art surgical suites at their hospitals! Ooh hoo hoo~ Who needs something USEFUL.' Her frown tightened. Could you sue for incompetence? Already she was opening a browser and covertly scanning the artificial human to see what idiot created her so she could call them and give them a piece of her mind.

She stepped back and started worrying as the girl firstly grunted at her greeting, then seemingly saw something on her and got outright enraged.

"S-Sorry, did I say something wrong?"

She sighed exasperatedly and dismissed her in a flat tone as she stared at the mansion ahead, "You're fine, Senshi-bot. Polite interactions protocol working as intended."  Whomever made her apparently wasn't crowing about it, but she'd figure it out eventually, even if it meant tracking down shipping information for expected parts.

Sailor Splash walked up with Alpha and bowed to Rosegold, "You must be a very smart woman to gather all this information while I failed and led my group in other directions. I apologize that we didn't follow your advice from the beginning. What I am meaning to say is go ahead and take all the credit for this. we will just back you up." 



Steamstress heard sirens outside and ran to the window seeing lots of cops outside and those brats they met earlier... convenient mostly.

 She then ran grabbing her gear and walking downstairs stopping at Chenille's room to tell her to get ready and she went downstairs ready to answer the door when the cops came forth for them.

C:\Sailor Alpha


She froze (in a human sense, not like her internals being slow) as the woman in front of her made clear with her remark that she knew she wasn't human. She frantically checked her outfit for any seams showing (there were none) and looked back at her again.

"H-how did you know?" She said in a low, afraid voice, hoping nobody else finds out.

She took Stephanie Sanders' praise without comment, though she did take small satisfaction in that the other senshi was saying 'I told you so' for her, though suggesting that she'd need them to back her up on her claim was laughable. She shrugged, "Just don't let them get away and you can stand in the picture."

The android acted nervous. Was she hoping no one had noticed? Ruth hid a smirk - with the people she'd been hanging out with, that wasn't so much a stretch. But then did she android actually think it was normal to have seams on their joints? Sure the gloves hid some of them well, but others were only too plain to see. Still, throwing out a name never hurt. Still staring forward in a cool, uninterested fashion, she replied, "I'm Ruth Liongod, tech genius. If I didn't notice they should take away my PhDs."

"...That makes sense." With one more worried looked,,she slimmed back to the group so she could feel safe again.

☼ Sailor Sun ☼

The tall tan-skinned woman that followed behind the others seemed to drift rather than walk with an actual purpose, her dark eyes observing the area without much sense of absorption. She had barely said two words since their encounter with Chenille Quill, but she remained in her form as Sailor Sun and continued to follow along. Discussion from the others made it clear that they were about to enter into battle, most likely against the women from before, now established formally as the culprits of the attacks. The flame-haired woman stayed back while Splash talked to R0z3g01d, having nothing of interest to add.

She looked up at the house they stood in front of, wondering what the next step would be, humming faintly to herself under her breath.

NPC-Cops


The three cops from before with about two or so more cop cars coming walked up pounding on the door...


"Melissa Smith...or Steamstress or whatever you call yourself...come out here your under arrest for Robbery and assault... "


"Don't make US come in there!!"

Chenille Quill "The Needleworker"

She'd lost herself so much in her work that being pulled from it by an abrupt pounding on the door downstairs left her disorientated. Who would make such an awful ruckus?

Chenille's lips turned into a delicate frown as she listened. Her instinct to protect the Steamstress coming back into full. The police of this town were deluded to think that they would ever be successful in taking anyone in this mansion down. But, if the Steamstress wanted to keep things quiet, having such a public scene would not be good.

She set aside the thread and needles, before making her way to the Steamstress's room. Much more politely than the police, she knocked on the door. "Steamstress? We have company."

 "Steamstress? We have company." 


Chenille's soft voice called out as she knocked on the door. Steamstress put her gear on and calmly walked to the door. 

As she opened it slowly as to not hurt her friend, she said, "Yes I see Chenille and what an awful ruckus they are making, and in front of our home. Shall we go put an end to it, so we may achieve the peace and quiet, we so dearly deserve?" Steamstress smiled evilly at her friend.



Sailor Splash knew by now that Rosegold had her beat in a lot of categories, and Splash knew now to just step back and wait till the cops and Rosegold took care of things. 

Rosegold was right, Splash's team was mostly there for back-up since they were so behind in the cases. She went back to her group and told them, "Sailor Sun, Sailor Alpha, Sailor Koronis... thank you so much for helping with all this. I know we came together in a weird way and didn't understand each other at first... but thank you for sticking with me in this. Now let's help finish this case"

Sailor Splash stood ready for whatever would happen next....

Chenille Quill "The Needleworker"

If she were to be honest, Chenille didn't see the point in dealing with the police. What did they matter, in the grand scheme of things? How would defeating them aid in their purpose?

Still, she saw the Steamstress's expression and couldn't help but to return the grin. Those police were an annoyance, after all. With a flick of her wrist, needles began to materialize out of thin air, their points gleaming with promise. "As you command," she said.

She moved out of the way, to let the Streamstress out of the room so that she could make her grand entrance. Chenille was not one for theatrics. She was much better in the background with her needles and magic.

"Thank you for everything, Chenille..it's time!" Steamstress walked downstairs and out a side window trying not to make a sound and walked out and threw one of her Scissor-ends out at the ground near the woman talking to the senshi. She then walked into the open drawing the cops towards her. "YOUR UP CHENILLE!" 

As Steamstress waited for her evil friend she spoke to everyone, "So this is what it's come to I suppose... A team of Senshi who can't walk two steps without something happening, A renegade woman who apparently also knows her way around security and the men and women in Blue... only here because the Senshi can't do it themselves anymore...should we say lost their touch?"



Sailor Splash was waiting and at the last seconds saw the scissors-hand flying towards Rosegold, "ROSEGOLD WATCH OUT!!" She yelled hoping the woman would not be harmed. She then saw Seamstress and listened to her talk down the Senshi and her team and even call in someone else to help her. 'Must be that woman from before with the needles' Splash was ready to fight...

Her face a picture of disgust, Ruth took a few steps backward, behind a police car and folded her arms. Throwing scissors? No thank you. She'll take the lawfully bound citizen granted protection of the police force.

Sailor Splash watched and sighed aloud as the scissor-half missed RoseGold by a good margin. "All right guys we're up, Let's show this old hag some good old Justice!!" Splash then got ready and yelled, "Deep-end Torrent! it's a shame when fabrics get wet right?"



Steamstress cursed in her mind as her scissor-hand miss its target and she stuck her hand out as it returned to her. She then again heard that so-called hero Sailor Splash say something and even threaten her with an attack which hit her head on, pushing her back a bit and making her angrier. "LOOK HERE SPLASHY GIRL!" she yelled shaking things off the best she could... "LET'S see how your friend likes it...I mean he loved the needles from before!" She then took our her new toy-the one that shoots out the new mixture that if it hits it should turn one of them against them... She then shot at Sailor Koronis...

☼ Sailor Sun ☼

She took a step back when the scissors came flying towards the group, narrowly missing the woman wearing pink who had led the police forces to this place. Sailor Sun spun around to face their opponent—the white-haired woman from before—not noticing at first that her needle-bearing accomplice waited in the shadows. Sailor Splash was the first to attack, and the Seamstress retaliated. She felt that call inside again, the need to do something and help. When she spread her fingers, hand slightly held out to her side, she closed them around the stock of a dark red whip, the weapon materializing out of nowhere.

The lash of the thing sizzled as it coiled beside her, visibly sparking, swirling with a myriad of flame colours. Sailor Sun paused for a moment, then cracked it towards the Seamstress, calling out her attack, sending a blaze of magically-charged heat and energy towards the woman in white.

"Solar Prominence!"

"Solar Prominence!"


Steamstress was focused on Sailor Koronis until she heard something yelled at her and she noticed some type of fire whip heading for her and slipped due to the water on her and was lit on fire. She screamed in pain and started to roll on the dirty ground which she hated to do but she had to save her own life. 

She put it out but now her beautiful outfit was now soiled with water and burnt spots not to mention dirt and dust. She looked like she was about to cry, no one had ever treated her beautiful creations so poorly in her life.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JERKS WOULD DO THIS TO ME! I sit away in my room up there and toil away almost all day, cutting and sewing and stitching...just to make these wonderful outfits to wear and look at what you have done...LOOK AT IT!!! YOU'VE RUINED IT!!"

Chenille Quill "The Needleworker"

The fight began. Chenille stayed towards the back at first, allowing Steamstress to take charge. Instead, Chenille watched. Waited. Biding her time.

She could not wait any longer as Steamstress took a hit. She reacted too late to save her leader from the attack, but she was already summoning a cloud of needles in preparation for the next volley. She said nothing. Simply stepped out of the shadows, arms raised. The needles shimmered around her.

Going for a wide-arc, Chenille sent them at all of their current enemies. If hit, the attack wouldn't do much damage, she knew. But it would certainly help take the heat off of Steamstress at the very least.

She'd save the bulk of her attack for later. They would pay for making her boss suffer.

Having not been specifically targeted yet (or, he thought he hadnt), Sailor Koronis was wondering who to target. Go for who seems to be the apparent mastermind behind this, or take on her accomplice.

Then, it bit him. Quite literally, in fact, as a strange liquid splashed across his face as he was thinking.

"Ack-! What the heck is this? And why did it.... hit..... me....." his voice trailied off as the liquid set in, seemingly hijacking his mind (not rewriting it, thank goodness), and, well.... taking over, as he seemingly became more sinister. Much more sinister, in look and voice, as he turned to sailor splash.

"Hello.... Stephanie." He put a lot of emphasis into saying that, making sure everyone heard and knew what he said.

He followed that up by bolting towards her, sharp edge of his scepter pointed right at her chest. He (or the liquid, who knows) wasnt aiming to scare. He/it was aiming to hurt. 

"Hello... Stephanie."


Sailor Splash had been so focused on Steamstress that she originally didn't hear Sailor Koronis speak but it hit her when he yelled out her real name. Turning to him, she yelled, "Hey I asked you not to yell out our... HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!" Sailor Splash froze in fear not knowing what to do at Sailor Koronis rushed at her and when he got there, she felt his scepter hit her...it hurt...a lot... her eyes went wide open as she looked down to see it had punctured her skin...

All she got out before she fell back was, "Why did you hur..." This pain was like nothing she felt before since nothing had ever punctured her skin before. She tried to keep her eyes open staring at Sailor Koronis.

Through all the commotion going on, Steamstress watched as the liquid she threw got Sailor Koronis right in the kisser. She then started to laugh, manically and evilly as Sailor Koronis turned on that rainbow-haired nerd Sailor splash. She was amazed by how it worked so well and then told them all. 

"Good Boy Sailor Koronis...be a dear and finish the rest of them off, ok love?"

Steamstress then walked over to Chenille smiling, "Fire any time sister..."
