Any updates as to how they're planning on improving the crashes and whatnot due to the heavy traffic?

Is it just me or are gym battles kinda like button smashing on a controller? I feel like I have very little control over what attacks my pokemons are using against their opponents. D:

You really don't have much control. It's based on what your Pokemon knows, since each Pokemon has one "normal" attack and one "power" attack. You can't use the "power" attack until you've charged the little bars until your Pokemon's HP, and then you hold down to activate it.

I've heard rumors that they're going to add gen 2 pokemon at some point. Has anyone else heard about this?

I honestly stopped playing a while ago, it was too buggy and too repetitive and I got bored.

Never heard this but I hope they do I'm back in the game (before moon and sun comes out)

I heard that as well but remain pretty disinterested. All I really want is a tracker XD

Generation 2 released!

I've been playing Pokemon Go pretty consistently but the release of Generation 2 Pokemon has kicked things into hyper drive for me in the last couple of days. Yesterday I walked close to 6 miles. My feet were so sore and I basically collapsed on the couch for the rest of the day. OTL

I kinda stopped playing even though a new generation came out. It got boring really quick because they weren't really being consistent with updates and player needs/wants to make the game more interactive for them. Like it would be nice to have a friending system where you can not only battle your friends but you can also track their progress on their journey. Not to mention it's such a battery drainer and is a data killer.

I just got a shiny Mawhile in my 3rd raid for it only   I'm Level 40, and I love my 100% IV Waillord I just evolved.

I only just recently got back into playing. Hubs and I were playing somewhat hardcore in the beginning but a place with a lot of good stops had the stops taken away and a few other things Niantic did at the time kind of burnt us out. I started playing again cause I was curious what it was like now.

I'm only level 21 since I had stopped playing for a while. I don't have any shinies or anything...my best mon is probably my Exeggutor with cp1558 but I don't know much about IVs and stuff these days with the game so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The few times I've been near a gym with a raid going on, no one was there so I didn't do it...except this one time where it was a magikarp. lol  I don't really care to get involved with the local players so I just occasionally go and defeat a gym for sh**s and giggles. xD Mystic ftw!!

Me and my bf take gyms at night. I have about 21 gold gyms, 2 mewtwos, and all the legionaries. We have discord for raids in the area, pokemon maps with iv's shown, and fb chats also for raids for areas. And where I live its a busy area so a lot of people are into it. Because my boyfriend is 8 years older than me, he only thought Pikachu was the only Pokemon, so he's learning my childhood with me  

PS: I have a maxed out 98% ditto. lmao
