In accord with the continuity of the anime, would the reformed Nehelenia be a senshi in her own right?

I don't think so. From what I understood, every planet has only one corresponding Sailor Crystal and the one for the moon is the Silver Crystal, which is held by Sailor Moon (and Sailor Chibimoon, but as Chibimoon comes from the future, I'm pretty sure she's excluded from that rule). The Dark Moon is not an individual planet, so I doubt that it has its own Sailor Crystal. Thus, no Sailor Nehelenia.

indeed. it would pretty much be similar to the situation of the reformed Akayashi sisters in the anime.

they are no longer evil, but nor do they gain any particular powers. plus, before she became evil, it seems Nehelenia did not have any special powers of her own. though this does not mean it's not fun to do "what if?"^^

I think I can answer the original question of east02west with a definite No.  Note that this original question pointed out "the continuity of the anime".  I don't remember any of the reformed villains becoming senshi in their own rights in the anime.  Not the Ayakashi sisters in R season, as CrystalSetsuna pointed out.  And not the Amazon Trio nor the Amazoness Quartet in SuperS season.

This happened only in the manga, with that version of the Amazonesss Quartet.

I didn't intend it as it being demonstrated in the anime itself, but rather that there was a potential for it to be the case (Check my thread on Sailor Mau in the Theories and Debate thread.). Nehelenia obviously had to have had some special ability of sorts for her to even be reborn (The Galaxy Cauldron has its fair share of problems between R and Stars).

The anime does hint at the Amazoness Quartet encountering them in the future, it just doesn't give all the details. To be frank, Stars was extremely rushed and poorly fleshed out as stories go.

What stops Nehelenia from drawing energy from elsewhere? She would be what,the Eclipse? Not really the moon, or Sun, but rather the shadow cast between them.

Out of curiosity though, what happens when Chibiusa and Helios eventually have a child? Unlike Serenity, Chibiusa wasn't born from the Silver Crystal itself. Wouldn't that mean that Serenity no longer has a reason to reincarnate?

actually in the anime, the only case of Nehelenia being reborn was thanks to Sailor Moon's powers, sending her back in time to her childhood. in the main timeline, Nehelenia was never reborn, she was trapped inside a mirror, eternally young. so no, there is unfortunately no case of special abilities there of her own. she wasn't even able to take dream mirrors until she was corrupted by the darkness, quite possibly Chaos.

well..that is probably a yes. especially if she no longer has her ability to transform into a senshi. and if there is a new guardian Sailor Moon, well why would she butt into that? besides, the poor girl has lived 2 lifetimes, i think she deserves a nice long rest. XD

In relation to being sent back to the past, wouldn't that cause a continuity problem in relation to the Amazoness Quartet having been awoken? Given that Nehelenia presumably wouldn't have turned evil and cursed Princess Serenity, where does that leave the Amazoness Quartet of the present?

Fair enough, but Stars doesn't seem to allow for that to be an option. The continuity of Stars seems to demand that Usagi and Mamoru always be reborn together as well as Chibiusa in a never ending cycle. The difference between Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity is that Usagi is born from the Crystal and thus its rightful guardian. Chibiusa is unique in that regard. I wouldn't necessarily make her out to be Sailor Moon proper, but something other. Sure she'll eventually bring forth a child with Helios, but how many lifetimes over will the entire family be born in the same cycle?

Also, given that Helios and Mamoru are bound together (See my Theory:Sailor Cosmos thread), how does that work out for ChibiUsa?

I never even thought of it that way! Where did she get them to contaminate then and force their awakening? Perhaps they were found on the moon and stolen and she just kept them until she decided to exact her revenge. It doesn't seem like they were part of the original moon kingdom/reincarnation that queen serenity performed.

Given that the Senshi remain celibates, how do their Crystals pass between persons of their respective planets? The continuity of the first season flies in stark contrast to what Stars introduced, and we never get an indication of the role that Pluto plays in that process.
