Personality: Before meeting Tsukino Usagi for the first time, Mamoru's personality was best described as rough and self-absorbed. Their early encounters often resulted in Usagi receiving a snarky comment or two concerning her performance in school. In contrast, Mamoru was a very studious and diligent individual who strived to achieve academic excellence.

Throughout his early life, Mamoru has suffered from the spectre of orphanage; he lost his parents at the tender age of six. This event triggered his first period of amnesia, and more would follow as he continued to mature into a young man.


Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Through his unique connection to Earth and the Golden Crystal, Mamoru exhibits strange powers such as psychometry (gaining psychic impressions from an object via touch) and the ability to heal injuries.

Mamoru's psychometric gifts enable him to sense the general condition of the planet, such as the surface of the North Pole being damaged during the final conflict with Queen Metalia. This also means that Mamoru's health is closely linked to that of the world; if the Earth were to be attacked on a large scale (such as what happened with the Dead Moon), Mamoru would suffer in a similar fashion.
