Character Name: Loof Merrow
Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be in her late teens or early twenties in canon timeline. Is chronologically over 5000 years old in present time.
Used Canons: Sera Myu (mainly Shin Kaguyas) + some headcanons
Character Image: Merrow has a lean build and a fair complexion with some blemishes. Her mahogany brunette hair falls down in straight locks, complemented with bangs that fall slightly over her eyebrows. Her eyes are warm brown in color. One of her most distinguishable features are the few locks of hair which are purple in color and fall down as two stripes, one on both side of her head.
In the past, her wardrobe mainly consisted of dresses, their style reminding some Southeast Asian traditional clothing. Her outfits were usually made of light materials because of Artuka's warm climate, and were usually decorated with golden details and some jewelry. Even so, Merrow preferred clothing that doesn't restrict her in any way. She favors shades of purple in her clothing.

Storyline Specific Information: Halcyon Festival: This storyline takes place some years before Artuka's fall, when the kingdom was still prosperous. Thus, the characters are few years younger in this storyline.
Additional Information: Having grown up without parents for most of her life, Merrow has a deep bond with her closest four guards, Selkie, Serpen, Kraken, and Kern. Out of the four, Selkie is closest to Merrow, but despite their positions as Merrow's guards, the five have a relationship that is also something akin to a family.
Merrow is strong-willed and usually outspoken, and she has an independent, somewhat rebellious side. During Artuka's prime, she lived most of her life inside the palace, which was something she herself did not agree to. This didn't stop her from going against some of the older customs and wishes from her servants, however, it also doesn't mean that she didn't value Artuka's culture.
She spent most of her free time with her closest guards, even asking them to teach her combat skills if the need to use them ever rose, or sometimes even slipped out of the palace for a moment. She dreams of seeing what the rest of the world is like, and wants to understand her land and people. The shock she experienced when Artuka got destroyed by tidal waves made her more distant, and she resents Dark Plasman for attacking Earth, and Princess Moon for being unable to save their country.
RP Sample: The sound of a door closing could be heard echoing in the hall, followed by a suppressed sigh. The room Merrow exited was becoming too familiar to her, almost like a second chamber. Her teachers had kept her over-time, which was more of a norm nowadays than it was for her to leave on time. Merrow walked through the hall and soon entered a smaller corridor, away from the common passageways of the castle, and leaned against the nearest wall. She felt the hard wood pressing to her back, but couldn't care about it. Silence felt wonderful compared to the fuss and noises that surrounded her a little while ago.
For a couple minutes it felt like time had stopped, until her eyes shot open. "Oh no, Serpen and Kraken promised to train me today!" Merrow chasticed herself for forgetting their plans. She hurried to her room to change quickly, not paying attention to the few wondering gazes she received from the palace's workers on her way. After changing her attire to a more casual one, Merrow made her way to the back garden of the palace, which was actually originally made for training purposes only.
She was about to make her presence known when she noticed her third guard had decided to join the training, too. "Serpen, Kern, Kraken" She greeted her guards from the doorframe before stepping on the grass and closing the door behind her. After exchanging their salutations, Merrow apologized them for being late. "Today's studies took longer than I expected. Sorry for making you wait"
"Don't worry about it, Princess!" Serpen said. "Are you still sure you want us to train you today?"
"Of course. A promise is a promise" Merrow answered, her gaze growing determined. But upon noticing her guards' worried looks, her face softened. "Don't worry. I won't get hurt." She sighed and gave them a small lopsided smile. After a day like this, their company was much appreciated.
