I was watching PGSM the other day, and i forgot how sad the show was at times
For me it was when Mars used her and Venus' tamborines and made two swords. Such an epic moment!!

When Mars just found out about....well, you know. She fell to her knees. KNEES. Oh my god. This show is the reason why I ship Reinako so hard. And the first time I watched PGSM, I cried. It was so feels-y.

And yes, this scene too. So feels-y. So many Reinako feels that I exploded inside. So I'm actually dead. This is a ghost~

Sssssssshhhhh, it's alright everyone, think about Minako putting the unicorn hat on Rei.

Ohhhhhhh, a moment that's kind of tearjerking but is also really beautiful is the scene in which Usagi and Ami reunite, after Ami breaks free from being Dark Mercury. *happy sigh*

I think I just need to make a PGSM Reinako thread because...because. I mean we have one for just the ship overall, but we need one specifically for PGSM because of reasons >.> plus it'll give this area another topic.

Yeah, there are just soooooooo many hints for it alone in PGSM, so I agree that it needs it own special thread. <3

and when she is going to give him the v-day's present and she spots him with Hina (dat BEACH).

and when makoto rejects motoki and then when he finds out why and goes and buy her the amulet and BAM, passes out and then she finds him... so sad .-.

Ahhh these scenes too! Especially the Makoto x Motoki one omfg.

I agree with everything I've seen mentioned here but also when Zoicite died I cried my eyes out just as much for that as I did Minako's death. oh and can't forget minako's letter at the end of that one cried for a couple hours after that.

Mars falling to her knees after she defeats the youma because she's so devastated over Minako's death.

Darkury crying over Usagi because she thought she had killed her.

*drowns in own tears*

Agreed. Cried the hardest during that. I think its because Rei is so tough emotion-wise and seeing her so broken up is like.. omg it just feels wrong and devastating T.T

The Mars scene where she falls to her knees. When I rewatched it for the fourth time I cried thinking of how it was like Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

With Mars taking her rage on the Youma similar to how Sayaka took hers out on a Witch.

Though, being older it hit me that in a way Minako committed suicide. So that was tearjerking in itself.

There's many scenes that bring me to tears (and sometimes just watching the show does that because it still means so much to me), but to name a few major tearjerkers, I'd go with these:

The retelling of Princess Kaguya, when Usagi starts crying, wondering if her mum was her real mum. This is just so incredibly cute and I could totally relate to that. My mum is somewhat like Ikuko in PGSM and I really love her, so if I was Usagi, I'd probably be the same.

The girls re-united after Ami is back to normal. Not only did I love the Darcury-plot, it was just so amazing to see the girls together again. Also Ami trying to make up for her sins was so incredibly adorable!

Minako's letter. Oh god. I still can't listen to Sayonara ~Sweet Days~ without bursting into tears. It was an overall heartwarming, yet incredibly sad scene.

Usagi fighting posessed Mamoru. That one was right in the feels. When she lifts his sword to kill him, crying like a baby and the real Mamoru suddenly appears behind her, holding the sword together with her... it's heartbreaking!

Finally, when everyone remembers Usagi and they re-unite on the bridge. Listening to Friend still has the same effect as Sayonara. It's just so touching!

And while I wrote all that, I actually had to keep myself from crying.

Finally found a tearjerker. Episode 14, when the girls are trying soooo hard to make sure Usagi didn't turn into a youma. Even though it had a good outcome, it seriously brought me to tears for a moment, especially when Kunzite almost won! You could hear the pain in Ami's voice when Usagi's nails grew out and she made that evil smirk.

One of my moments is when Usagi is fighting Princess Sailor Moon and lost.  The heartbreak is real because you know the Princess Sailor Moon is going to destroy the world.
