| Chinese mythology associates the planet Venus with the element metal, and in Japanese, Venus is called Kinsei, meaning metal star or something similar. Sailor Venus uses a metal chain in two of her attacks, Love Me Chain and Love Whip. So that's why we're associating her with metal ^^ |

| ^^ What JTC said. Their powers do associate with mythology. If remember correctly in the Sailor V manga Artemis calls Minako the goddess of Venus. |

| It also makes me wonder how they afford all those outfits. They are only 14-16. I know I sure as hell couldn't at that age. I still can't now. |
