Plot Summary:  
Following the events of the events Senshi Dollhouse and Decay, Ganymede and Soul finally meet in person and in a non-crisis situation. Thus continues their budding romance.  

Deciding she needed a change of scenery, Amina decided to move to another part of Japan. She takes a new teaching contract, taking her to Sapporo, the largest city and the capitol of Hokkaida Prefecture. Unknowingly, she becomes the English teacher of the last person she ever expected to see again; Yuuta Tetsuryu, or better known to her as Knight Ganymede. Recognizing him first before he recognizes her, Amina panics. She has feelings for him, but she knows that as long as she is his teacher, she can’t ever act on anything. The roleplay follows Amina and Yuuta as they work out their feelings for each other and any potential relationship. Can love really conquer all?

Amina bit her bottom lip as she took another look at the papers sitting on her desk. Her students were due to begin coming into the classroom at any moment and she wanted to make sure she had all her papers prepared so she wasn't left scrambling to find what she needed later on. She didn't want her students to think she was incompetent or anything, especially at a new school! Satisfied, she moved to the chalk board and began writing her name on the board.

Ms. Bayley

Following her month recover after the failed mission on another planet, Amina had decided she needed a change of scenery. Since her contract with her school in Tokyo had due for renewal, she had decided to move across the country and start fresh. Thus, she found herself in Sapporo. It was apparently the largest city and the capitol of Hokkaida Prefecture.

With a little time to spare, her mind began to wander to a certain Knight who she hadn't seen or heard from since the mission. I wonder if he's doing alright, she thought to herself. She had hoped that she would see him after they left the palace, but no such luck. Maybe he's just busy. One voice in her mind said. Yah, keep telling yourself that girl, you know it's such a lie! said another. The senshi shook her head attempting to get her thoughts back in order. She was startled out of her thoughts as her new students began to enter the room. When the bell rang to signal the beginning of class, Amina took a deep breath in attempt to calm herself before speaking.

"Welcome to English 2011. I hope everyone had a good break! My name is Ms. Bayely," she said, indicating her name on the board. Sometimes it was easier for some students to see how a word was spelt in order to properly be able to pronounce it. "This should be fairly obvious but I will be your teacher for the semester. In order to get to know each other, we're going to do a little bit of an ice break! I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself, then I'll go down the attendance sheet and when I call your name, I want you to say "here" and tell me one interesting fact about yourself."

"My name is Amina Bayely. I was born and raised in Canada, in the province of Ontario. I'm the only child of my parents who got divorced when I was a small child. I have a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration of History from the University of South Western Ontario. After university, I went to college and got a Diploma for Law Clerk. A Law Clerk for those of you who don't know, is the assistant to the lawyer. They are the ones that draft the legal document, interview the clients and basically keep the entire office running," she explained, a small smile on her face. "While I was at college, I did my certificate to teach English as a Second Language."

"Enough about me, I want to learn about you guys!" Amina grabbed her attendance sheet and began to go down the list, trying her best to pronounce the somewhat unfamiliar Japanese names without butchering the students names too much.

"Tetsuryu, Yuuta," she called. She frowned internally at the first name. It seemed so familiar. Ganymede's first name was Yuuta, her brain helpfully supplied. No, it was just a coincidence. When she looked up to spot the student who indicated that was their name, she froze in shock. No, it couldn't be him.

"I can't believe you're stuck taking English a second time, Yuuta," Kazaki said as they walked into class with the rest of the students. Their break was over, and Yuuta had just gotten back from his time in the far future, training in Crystal Tokyo under Neo Queen Serenity's court. That failed trip to Zenar aside, he felt that he had made lots of progress with his own abilities. The red headed girl was over half a foot shorter than him, but he still felt slightly embarrassing to get called out by her. "Try to get a passing grade so you can get out of high school, alright? A Sailor Senshi has to be a good role model." she joked, patting him on the back. Yuuta frowned.

"Hey, I just barely failed last semester! And there's no way I'm letting you and Fuyuko get ahead of me. My parents'll never let me hear the end of it." Kazaki laughed and went to sit closer to the front, her last name coming before his. He shook his head and went over to the back, slumping in his desk. He hated English.

Sure, he could speak it decent enough, but reading and writing were chores unless the material was interesting. Those graphic novels from the west were pretty cool... When their new teacher turned around to introduce herself, something seemed familiar. Hadn't he seen that face before somewhere? But Ms. Bayley was from Canada. He must have been overthinking it. When she called his name, he gave an unenthusiastic "Here" in English. And now he had to think of an interesting fact or something...

"Uh...I'm the best linebacker on the Sapporo-Minami High School football team," he said with a grin. A few boys gave an obligatory cheer to that, and he could just tell that Kazaki was rolling her eyes.

Part of her felt hurt that he didn't recognize her yet another part of her was glad. He was her student! for crying out loud. Regardless of what happened on Zenar, nothing could happen between them now. The only thing she could do is bury her feelings and pretend nothing had happened between them. Trying to regain her composure, she went down the rest of the list. She turned back to her desk to grab her papers to start the lesson when she noticed that a hand was in the air, wanting to ask a question.

"Yes?"

"How long have you been teaching English?" a young girl asked.

"I've been teaching in Japan for about a year and a half now," she answered. "Now if that's everything, we're going to start off with a test." She paused listening to the class groan. "Before you start panicking, don't worry this test isn't worth marks. It's just for me to be able to see where everyone is so I can tailor my lesson plans accordingly." She smiled to herself. She hated it when teachers did this to her, but boy was it more fun being on the other end.

Yuuta groaned with the rest of the class. Great, a test. Sure, it wasn't a grade or anything, but no one wanted a test this early into the year. He probably forgot everything too...He missed Crystal Tokyo already, at least he didn't have to do schoolwork there. Thinking of that make him think of Zenar, and then his thoughts drifted to Sailor Soul. He wondered what she was doing now?

He sat back and waited until she passed out the papers.

One week later

"Alright everyone, I'm going to be handing back your tests now. After I hand them out, we're going to go over the most common mistakes I found in the test. If you have any questions about yours, please come see me after class," she said, a stack of papers in her arms. She went down the row, handing papers back. Finally, she got to Yuuta, he heart pounding in her chest. She had been dreading this for the last few days. He hadn't done well, and she did need to talk to him as his teacher about why and perhaps get him some extra help in the class. On the top of his paper, she had written See me after class please beside his grade. A large part of her was still scared that he'd recognize her.

When she finished handing out all the tests, she went back to the board. "Alright, so can anyone tell me the most commonly used prepositions in the English language?" she asked, turning around to start her lesson. She hoped that he wouldn't recognize her after class and she could make it through the year with he sanity in tact.

Yuuta cringed when he got his test back. It was a good thing it didn't count, because his grades wouldn't have taken a 20% very well. And he had to stay after class now too. They were supposed to have a senshi meeting when school ended, but now he'd be late for it. Perseus would chew him out pretty badly later. The guardian cat was trying his best to teach Yuuta how to better control his abilities and wouldn't take kindly to him being tardy. As the class continued on, Yuuta didn't bother trying to answer Ms. Bayley's question, as prepositions were what he was struggling with.

Amina blew a sigh of relief as the bell to signal the end of class rang. Today had no been a good day. Her students were struggling with prepositions and she needed to find a new way to teach it to them because this way obviously wasn't working. Time to hit Google and the help boards for teachers abroad for any tips other teachers may have. When she looked up she noticed the room was empty except for Yuuta. Right, I asked him to stay after class. Crap. Stay professional, stay professional. You can get through this.

Yuuta stayed sitting as the rest of the class left the room. He had told Kazaki that he would meet up with her and Fuyuko later at the car repair shop, so they wouldn't wonder where he went. After another minute of waiting, he stood up with his test paper and walked over to Amina's desk. He hadn't really paid attention to how the teacher looked since the first day, but now that he was standing in front of her, she once again looked familiar. Wait.... His eyes widened a little as it dawned on him. She was Sailor Soul! In such a mundane setting, it was hard for him to even imagine another senshi having a regular life. His trip to Crystal Tokyo and everything in it felt surreal compared to his home town. But did she recognize him?

"...You wanted to talk to me?" he asked, not sure if he should say anything. What if he was wrong and it was just someone who looked like her? After the Zenar mission, he had taken the time to sort out exactly what he felt about her, and eventually came to the conclusion that he thought of her as a little more than a friend. Yuuta's theory was confirmed when he realized that he didn't quite act the same as he used to around Kazaki. Her comments flustered him far less, and the occasional accusation of them being a "couple" didn't really get under his skin anymore.

"Want to tell me what's going on with your English grade Yuuta," she asked looking up at him. "You're not doing so well in my class and I want to know why. Are you not understanding the material or is it you just don't care so you don't put any effort in?" She raised her eyebrow, waiting for an answer. So far so good, she could get through this conversation without having a heart attack or a panic attack.

She wanted to help him succeed but she was also scared of what would happen if he recognized her. She wished she could talk to someone about this. The downside of being a lone Senshi without team mates, she thought bitterly to herself. She had liked working in a group and in the last month or so had missed it terribly.

Yuuta momentarily forgot about his teacher possibly being a senshi as she talked about his failing grade. His hands balled into angry fists at her words. Of course he cared, what kind of question was that? Did she just assume he was an ignorant muscle head, like the rest of the teachers probably did? All of them were the same...

"You think I wanna fail high school?" he said, raising his voice as his temper flared. New teacher or not, he didn't have the patience for people who thought they could treat him like an idiot. "English is hard, okay?"

"Some people if they don't care about a class they don't do the work, they don't try. If you're having difficulty with the material that's fine, we can identify where the issues are and work with it. Not everyone is good in every subject Yuuta, nor do I expect everyone to be good at everything. I struggled with Math in high school. I almost failed calculus," she said wryly, remembering her struggles and tears in calculus.

"As long as you try in my class and put the effort in, I'll do everything I can to help make sure that you pass and do as well as you can, ok? Would you like to to arrange a tutor for you? Seems like you may benefit from some extra 1 on 1 attention on the material." she smiled at him, letting him know that she wasn't mad at him, despite his outburst.

Yuuta wasn't sure how to react to Amina. Usually after he yelled, the teacher either got intimidated into letting him leave, or got angry and handed him a punishment. He had expected her to at least yell back or something, but she just explained herself and asked if he needed tutoring. Strange. He looked puzzled, but decided to calm down.

"So you don't think I'm a lost cause?" he asked. "You just think I should get tutoring." He hated the concept of tutoring. Yuuta liked to think he was perfectly self sufficient, and even letting his friends help him with things was a struggle.

"The only time anyone would be a lost cause is if they gave up on themselves completely. As long as you don't give up on you, I won't give up on you, alright?" She picked up a few papers from her desk and handed them to Yuuta. "I want you to give these a try alright? Give them to me tomorrow. I should have a tutor for you by Friday so come to my classroom after your last class of the day, alight?" she said.

Yuuta didn't respond to Anima at first, but he took the papers from Amina and looked them over. It was more practice work, like he suspected, but he wasn't nearly as annoyed by that as he thought he'd be. That was the first time a teacher said something like that to him, and for once, he felt motivated to improve. He nodded and started walking back to the door. But before he left, he turned around again.

"...I don't think you'll find a tutor for me, but...thank you," he said, smiling slightly. Yuuta walked back out into the hallway, only to run into Kazaki, leaning against a wall.

"You waited for me?" Yuuta asked, surprised.

"Percy wanted me to check on you...and I wanted to see what happened." she responded. She noticed the papers in his hand. "Extra assignments? I'm surprised you're not angry about that. Wait..." Kazaki grinned. "Unless you don't mind getting more homework from Ms. Bayley." Yuuta blushed at the implications.

"The hell are you trying to say!?" he yelled. Kazaki laughed and started walking away, Yuuta following.

"Nothing, nothing. Just that you have a crush." If Anima was listening, she could hear their conversation from down the hall as they left.

Amina groaned as she lay her head on her desk. She had completely forgotten about the fact that here was football practice right after school, so any tutoring would have to take place after that. She had already gotten all her grading done for the week and was still bored waiting for him. She'd been too nervous to settle into reading a book. She looked into the clock. 30 minutes left until practice was over. Assuming he needed a quick shower and change, she was looking at about another hour until he showed up.

She closed her eyes, maybe a nap would do her some good. She had barely slept last night, too nervous for this. She had been unable to find him another tutor. Everytime she thought she had one, the minute the student found out who they were suppose to be tutoring, they suddenly came up with an excuse as to why they were unable to. A few of them had looked downright terrified and she had no idea why.

As he walked back toward his English classroom, Yuuta thought about what he was going to do for this tutoring session. After football practice, he had showered and changed back into his school uniform. Would he confront her about being a senshi, or just let it slide? And did she even manage to find someone willing to tutor for him?

He stuck his head into the classroom, only to find Amina sleeping at her desk. Confused, he walked in and set his bag down on a desk.

"Ms. Bayley...?" he asked. No response, so he had to try to wake her up. Yuuta bent down to her level and put his hand on her shoulder, shaking her gently. "Hey, are you awake?"

Amina felt herself jerk awake when a hand landed on her shoulder. "What..oh Yuuta, practice over already?" she asked, her voice disoriented from sleep as she glanced at the clock to her left. She could feel his emotions bleeding through her as his hand stayed on her shoulder. He felt nervous, concerned and infatuated. That last one was most likely left over from a girl he saw in the hallway or earlier on his way here.

She knew she should move back, but the warmth from his hand felt so good. She still felt the occasional chill from her using that ability on Zenar, even if it was a month later. It was the longest she had been in contact with the underworld. Normally she hated wearing sweaters, but she was swearing one everyday and even then sometimes she still felt cold.

"Shall we get started then?" she asked, turning her head towards her student.

Yuuta reddened a little when Amina spoke, finding her still half asleep voice cute. He then realized that his hand was still on her shoulder and quickly removed it, clearing his throat and trying to look less flustered. 

"Uh, yeah..." he said. "Wait, where's the tutor?" He had a feeling she wouldn't be able to find one willing to do the job. "They all said no, right?" Yuuta assumed, grinning a little. A lot of the students were still pretty wary of him, even after he changed his behavior a while ago.

Her face fell when he asked if they had all said no. She really couldn't understand why all of them had run away. Yuuta was one of he sweetest guys she knew. "I'm so sorry, no one was willing and I looked all over and," she stopped herself from rambling. "I guess your stuck with me, huh, not the most exciting tutor in the world," she attempted to joke. He'd probably prefer his own age to flirt with. She knew how tutor sessions went a lot of the times.

She pushed her chair back and stood up, attempting to put some distance between them. "So, did you do those practice assignments I gave you?"

"Don't worry about it," Yuuta said. If she didn't know why they rejected her offer, then she must have not heard the rumors about him. He wasn't sure why Amina thought she wasn't an exciting tutor. She did seem to really like her job, so it's not like she was boring in class.

"Yeah, I did." He dug around in his bag and handed back the completed papers. He had needed some help from his friends at a few points, but he had done it in the end. Whether it was good or not was another story. He at least thought he did a little better than before.

It had been such a long day, between her classes, and having to tutor Yuuta after school, she was exhausted. All she wanted to do was crawl into bed for a week! Thankfully it was the weekend, so she could sleep as long as she wanted. She continued walking down the path in the park towards her apartment, when what sounded like a branch snapping came from her left.

"Hello?" she called out, hoping it was a stray cat or something. Right, if it was a person, there was a good chance they didn't understand English. "Hello?" she tried again in her limited Japanese. She really, really hoped it was an animal or something. She felt her right hand raise to clutch at her transformation pendant she wore around her neck, hidden under her sweater.

Amina would hear a growl as a large, dark shape pulled itself out of the bushes. It stood 7 feet tall and looked like a monstrous cross between a man and a bull.

"Energy..." the monster said in a deep voice, sniffing the air hopefully. The beast turned to look at her and snarled, feet pawing at the ground. Her senshi magic seemed to draw its attention far more than any average person it could find.

Yuuta was walking home from school as well, which happened to be in the same direction as Anima's address. The tutoring session had gone surprisingly well, but he had completely forgotten to ask her about being a sailor senshi. He'd have to save it for another time then. He suddenly stopped, feeling that something was wrong. Confirming it for him, a brown shorthaired cat jumped down from a nearby tree.

"Yuuta, I'm sensing youma activity very close by," the cat said. The strange golden mark on the cat's forehead shimmered as it spoke. Yuuta grew serious.

"Where is it, Percy?" he asked. The cat darted down the street, and Yuuta followed after his guardian towards the park.

"It's over here somewhere," Percy said as they ran. "The others are too far away, so you're going to have to stall until they catch up."

"I can do that." They skidded to a stop just in time to see the monster approaching a blonde young woman walking on the path. "Wait, is that Ms. Bayley?"

No, not a youma! Dammit, why didn't she sense this thing earlier? She must have been more tired than she thought. She pulled out her transformation key from under her shirt and held it tight in her hand.

Soul Star Power, Make Up! With a flash of purple light Amina transformed into Sailor Soul.

"Alright Youma, come on out now and make this easier on yourself!" she called out, summoning her staff. Seriously this thing was in between her and her bed and she was in no mood to fool around.

Yuuta watched from behind the trees as Amina transformed to fight the youma. So she really was Sailor Soul! But why had she come here?

"Percy, did you see"- he turned around, and the cat was gone, most likely to show his fellow guardian where to go. He'd tell him later then, but for now... Yuuta took the transformation badge off his shirt and held it up. "Ganymede Moon Power, Make Up!" In a burst of light and liquid metal, Sailor Ganymede appeared.

Her armor was the same design, but far less bulky, simplified to cover mostly her torso, arms, and boots. She was wearing a green and silver sailor fuku and skirt underneath her protective layers. Her head was protected by the eagle shaped helmet, but this time her face was still visible and her braided blonde hair fell out from behind it. Metal wings were folded on her back, and a bronze coil of metal served as a belt to hold her deactivated axe. Sailor Ganymede was just as tall as Yuuta, but her body and facial features looked slimmer and more clearly female.

She charged out from behind the youma, who had raised a huge fist in preparation to attack Sailor Soul, and slammed into it. The beast stumbled and allowed her to slip in front of it as it recovered.

"You've picked the wrong day to come out, youma," she said, taking out her axe. It crackled to life and a wicked blade of lightning formed. Sailor Ganymede glanced behind her. "Sailor Soul, are you okay?"

"I'm fine?" she said, completely confused. Who the heck was this Senshi and how did she know her name? She started at the other senshi as the woman pulled out an axe that crackled with lightning. It looks so similar to Ganymedes', she wondered. Actually, there was a lot similar to Ganymede now that she was thinking about it. The eagle shaped helmet, the bronze colouring, the wings. All of it screamed Ganymede. But Ganymede was very much male and not female.

I know there's other senshi in the city. It's possibility that Ganymede works in a team like Usagi and the inner senshi do, she thought as she continued to watch the two fight. Honestly, where was her head tonight? She needed to get into the game.  

"Soul Blast," she said, when there was an opening to hit the youma. The energy gathered at the tip of her staff before flying towards the youma, hitting it square in the chest.

The youma gave a pained howl and took a step back on its hooves, chest injured from the attack. It was quickly struck with another one.

"Ganymede Lightning Slice!" Sailor Ganymede's wave of lightning sliced off half of the youma's horn, and it recoiled before charging like a bull in its rage. Ganymede braced herself and caught the charge with her hands, holding the youma in place.

"Io Hertz Wave!" From out of nowhere, a burst of sound caused the air to ripple, and it slammed into the youma, throwing it hard into the tree and disintegrating it. Percy ran back out onto the path, along with two other senshi. One was shorter and had red hair and an orange motorcycle helmet with antennae sticking out of the sides, the mark of Jupiter and the Roman Numeral I on the side of it. The other was taller and had long, light green hair, and wore a cloak and hood over her senshi uniform. In her hand was a scythe that looked like it was carved of ice.

"Ganymede!" The helmeted one said, running to meet them. "We got here as fast as we could, is anyone hurt?" Ganymede shook her head.

"Not that I saw," she answered, turning off her axe. The brown cat then noticed Sailor Soul, and hissed before taking a defensive stance. The two new senshi looked at her suspiciously.

"And who is this?" Sailor Io asked, deadly serious.

Soul froze as two more Senshi appeared along with a talking cat which reminded her so much of Luna, Artemis and Diana it wasn't funny. The taller woman had called the senshi who had aided her Ganymede. But the Ganymede she knew was a guy, a Knight. Unless this one was a copy cat or they had a Knight Ganymede and a Sailor Ganymede on the team. She almost flinched when the cat hissed at her. She was in two minds to see if she could contact a spirit and see if they were able to provide some fog cover or teleport her far enough away that she could go back to her civilian form and get home safely without anyone noticing her.

"I think the better question is who the heck are you people," she retorted, her staff held tightly in both hands as she slipped into an easy defensive position.

"I'm Sailor Io," the helmeted one said, still suspicious of Soul.

"And I'm Sailor Europa," the taller senshi said.

"We're the guardians of this city, now tell us what you're doing here," Io commanded.

"Ganymede, get away from her. We don't know if she's to be trusted," Percy said, still bristling.

"Wait a second!" Ganymede said, stepping in between Soul and his senshi companions. "She's not against us, she was in Crystal Tokyo just like I was. The queen trusts her." Io and Europa looked skeptical.

Sailor Ganymede turned to face Sailor Soul, looking embarrassed. "Sorry, I forgot you wouldn't recognize me like this." She dropped her transformation, and Yuuta was standing before her, scratching his cheek and looking down. "I'm not always a knight..."

"Yuuta?" she said incredulously. She was so shocked that she almost dropped her staff and she could feel her jaw threatening to drop open. "But...how?" she was so confused. The Ganymede she knew in Crystal Tokyo had been a Knight, a male, just like Yuuta. How could he transform into a female? She was so confused!

The cooler night breeze blew again and she shivered. She was still having difficulty keeping warm and this damn senshi outfits didn't have much in the way of covers for the body. She really wanted to transform into her civilian form as she was wearing a sweater and it would be so, so much warmer than this, but she didn't trust the other two senshi that were still looking at her with suspicion. She was pretty sure the taller one of the two would attack her regardless if she so much as looked at any of them in a way the other perceived to be wrong.
