The whole locked thread thing has been on my mind ever since the first Last Person to Post Wins thread ended. It's been confusing me why exactly it was locked. At first i thought it was post limit but the next thread went even further so i knew it couldn't be that. 
I know i've been asking this question over and over but i've never gotten an answer
Why was it locked? Am i missing something?(TBH,I thought the whole point of the game was that it would be on-going with no real winner)

Threads may be locked for various reasons, most of which revolve around a perceived need to prevent new posts. In this particular case, I do not know why the thread was locked, because I was not the one to lock the thread and a reason was not given. However, it appears like the game has continued in a new thread, so it is still on-going with no real winner. (:

Through my years here I've notice many popular large posing threads will auto lock and a new one will be created. This is easy to tell of it was about 30+ pages of posts. I will personally move threads from the gaming area to the archives once activity drops or a game hasn't been played in a while, but I don't lock them since you shouldn't have access to the archives to post regardless.
