Makoto and Usagi were both trying to pursue a relationship with Motoki from the Crown arcade. Motoki and Mamoru being friends and classmates. Mamoru know's that Motoki's GF is moving overseas. Mamoru tells Makoto she may have a chance. Overenthusiastic Makoto demands Mamoru tell her everything.

Hayate The Combat Butler is basically one giant spoof... of everything anime ever. It... it pretty much defies any explanation, and winds up being a parody of itself pretty easily. The Fourth Wall basically does not exist.

The mask incident was Nagi as "Mask The Money." If I recall correctly, her weapons were playing cards... so she was essentially both Mamoru AND Seto Kaiba. She even went as far as knocking a gun out of someones hand like Kaiba did in at least one incident of the YuGiOh anime... adn carried a giant briefcase of money to buy off the yakuza(?) that were trying to take Hayate as payment for his parents stupidity/loan.

I need to start watching Hayate again.

Lol, it was an episode in SuperS* (I think? haha, I don't have them sorted...) and ChibiUsa was so excited about maybe making a new friend, but the guy totally spazzed out, dancing weirdly and then reached to pull his pants down to show her his little elephant before his mother caught him. XD EVERY SINGLE FRAME of that piece was gold; I just chose from my mini slide-show of those moments ChibiUsa's funniest faces. ^^
