Personally I think options 1 and 2 would be best, but I don't know how option 2 would work: most of us are in different timezones, and it does take a while for one person to write his or her reply (and then when they try to post it, someone else has also replied and the text doesn't work anymore, and so on). At least that's how I imagine it working - of course I don't have any past experiences to base it on, so you guys probably know better than I do

It might be hard to pull off the second option, but extending into next month sounds good.

I think we can let this turn into a two month event    It'll be a background event, but with them about to meet and the rp theme for February being love and relationships and such, I think it's a good match XD 

As with your concerns, I think keeping it as an event with a solid short-timeframe would be best with so many players. XD and we probably have to get a little more strict with the activity rule, sending reminders and stern looks and such. 

For this phase we wanted to get the meeting, but how far after would you want to go? Secret meetings afterwards, etc.? Or just this first meeting in great detail?

I agree with Uranus. I think having stricter posting check ins might be helpful. Freindly reminders like hey don't forget you need to post here. I am a bit stuck right now with my character because no one has posted for awhile, ooh i have an idea, but don't mind me just suggesting an idea to move story line, I am assuming that everyone comes in for dinner after archery, might that be a good opportunity for Serenity to escape, just an idea like I said- i am not trying to control anyones character.

I am also for extending the event to be a 2 month event if that is allowed.

If it's okay, I would love to extend this until February. I was thinking it would fit perfectly with the V Day theme as well

And I'll try to be stricter with the activity rule! I just know some people have RL stuff and I feel bad about hassling them D:

As for how far to go, I honestly hadn't planned it out. I wanted to see what happens when everyone meets and how everyone interacts first. Every couple might progress differently and I didn't want to say after this that needs to happen, etc. But I do love the idea of secret meetings, since I imagine it'll be close to dusk when Serenity finally gets to earth (let's say a time lapse happened in between) and they wouldn't be able to stay until dark.

@Artemis: We actually plan for Serenity's archery lesson going badly, after which she will run to her room in tears but from there she will actually teleport to earth. That way we have less things we need to finish before she can make her move Obviously then someone can go after her, discover she's missing, remember her talking about teleportation and figured out where she went.

nice nice I love it. I will say that my posts may not be every 48 hours because I start student teaching Tuesday but I am going to be as active as I can because I am loving this RP so much.

What do you guys think of an Earth Kingdom Masquerade? 

After reading Kyra's post, I thought that maybe Kunzite could respond telling him of the Earth queen's plans to host a ball with all of the royal ladies of Earth in attendance. The ball would be, perhaps, a few days after Endymion meets Serenity, and maybe at the end of their meeting, Endymion could tell Serenity to come to the ball. Kind of like a cliche Swan Princess fairytale. 

Anyway, so Serenity could go back, and beg the senshi to come to the ball with her. After some persuading, they could agree, and then romance and fluff could happen at the ball between the senshi and shittenou and it would just be really cute and fun.

This is just an idea, so if anyone doesn't like it or has a better idea, I'd be fine with anything.

Edit: Okay, now that Mars has surely pushed Serenity over the edge, she can maybe teleport in the next post. That means Earth people should be in the middle of the hunt already. Everyone has permission to move absentee characters around and/or do a fast-forward in the interest of keeping things moving.
