I just watched one of my very favorite episodes 111 - Seihai no shinpi na chikara! Mūn nidan henshin
and I noticed something strange. Was it just me, or did Uranus' and Neptune's planetary symbols' voices got messed up? First we see Neptune and hear Uranus' symbol voice and then we see Uranus and hear Neptune's symbol voice. I know this is a very small thing (which doesn't really bother me) but I just wanted to ask if someone else had heard the same or if I'm just hearing things XD

I wouldn't doubt it. It reminds me of the 20th anniversary conference when they said that the whole Sailor Moon anime was really rushed :p

You can spot a lot animation mistakes throughout the anime as well. I feel like it happens a lot in magical girl series. There are few in Tokyo Mew Mew and the anime version of The Powerpuff Girls.

I haven't noticed as much in Pretty Cure so far though.

I haven't actually found it disturbing,
though. Many episodes had some tiny animation mistakes (like ChibiMoon and
Saturn having wrong colored tiara gem and Tuxie forgetting his gloves and hat XD) but
this was the first time I noticed an audio mistake. Nevertheless, it didn’t disturb me and I just wanted to know if someone had noticed this same mistake.

Yeah I've noticed mistakes, not that one however

In some episode toei messed up a little, since you see the girls in the beginning of the episode dressed in casual clothes, then Yuichiro arrived and as the girls run to meet him they're in their school uniforms, then when the Youma attacks they're back to casual clothes before transforming.

Another small mistake I saw was that in ep 1 when Sailor Moon has to fight and gets attacked for the first time, they forgot to color a part her red ribbon in the front

This was not the first time Toei messed with the audio Earlier in the season, episode 91, when the Inners transform, Ami's star change rod produce the sound Mako's should have and vice-versa.

Maybe they had their casual clothes under the school uniforms and they just threw them of at some point XD?! JK

You got me ! Now I remember that one, too XD It just didn't disturb me so much as mixing Uranus' and Neptune's sounds (maybe 'cause they're my favorites XD)

Ah, also, I think the worst mistake they made was on Shabon Spray when, for a split fram, we see Mercury's glove colored in skin color. Considering the animators did it frame by frame, I don't understand how they managed this. And it is stock footage. Which means the attack had this mistakes EVERY TIMES it was used. (Thought it was corrected in the S movie)

Oh, also, Beryl's crystal ball thingie is missing for a frame in the first episode. (Thought, I only noticed it when I rewatched the episode for the thrid time)

I wonder how they managed it...

Oh, and back on episode 111, Haruka's planetary symbol is upside down.

My gosh that Shabon Spray one XD What were they thinking ? Beryl's crystal ball never disturbed me even though I noticed it XD lol

And about Uranus' planetary symbol... I noticed it but it didn't disturb me much since the animators took a LOT of liberties when it came to Senshi's planetary symbols... Like coloring Uranus' symbol with blue and every now and then with yellow and flipping everybody's symbols upside down

O.o I don't get it.

Her brooch. It's not the Eternal Moon Article.

But, it is.

When Usagi is not transformed, the brooch isn't supposed to have wings Plus, the crescent is misplaced in my shot of the 200th episode. So it's more like a golden Crisis Compact.

Yah, I noticed that about the misplacement of the Crescent Moon. Sloppy drawing, I think. But I got confused because you mentioned the first season and that one was circular, not heart-shaped. I kept staring at it wondering what I was missing because I was so confused. XD

Now that I'm done re-watching the serie, I'm rewatching the movies. As I want to spot moar mistakes, I sometimes watched the same scene three times x) I only found this:

I absolutely adore these! I knew about the Minako ribbon mistake but I never thought to notice about Uranus's. Quite odd. Is that the only time when they have it upside down? So strange. Where are the editors??

Uranus' planetary symbol was the first I saw X'D I think I've seen some other scene where her symbol was upside down but I cannot remember it now. I'll post a pic if I just find the episode. And I think the editors didn't even think about her color since it should be blue and not golden even though gold is her favorite color.

Argh, this one drives me nuts... not the picture itself but because people don't get that it's not an error, it's an old animation trick. It's a way to make a quickly moving scene flow better.
