How do you think Toei is going to end the first season of Sailor Moon Crystal?  Do you think they're just going to go with the manga's ending or will they do something a little different?  Toei said before that Crystal was supposed to represent Naoko's vision of the way she originally wanted the manga to be like but couldn't because of being rushed to finish it.  I remember reading before that Naoko originally wanted to kill off the Sailor Senshi but Kodonasha told her she couldn't because it would be too upsetting for kids to read that and that Naoko was supposedly mad that Toei ended up killing the Senshi in the anime version anyway, which is what she originally wanted to do.   So do you think they will kill all the Senshi off and have them be reborn like the original anime did or will they stick to how the manga did it?  And what do you think Toei is going to do with the Shittennou?  I'm hoping that maybe Usagi will use the Ginzuishou to heal the Shittenou and that the Senshi would team up with the Shittenou to fight Metallia.  That would be the perfect ending to Crystal for me.

But the senshi did all die in the end of the first arc. Sure, they returned to life after Usagi healed them, but they also got reincarnated again in the anime. I never understood why Naoko was upset about that because essentially the same thing happened in the anime and the manga regarding the senshi's deaths. o_o

I think they'll likely stick with what happened in the manga where the silver crystal revives the Inner senshi at the end of the first arc. If the Shitenou do end up helping the senshi fight Metalia I think they'll still end up dying, since its going to be really hard to work them into the plot of the rest of the story. I would be VERY surprised if the Shitenou somehow end up alive at the end, because it would be a huge departure from the manga continuity.

We'll probably get the manga version. Crystal been going chapter by chapter. As much as I love the generals they are wasted in Crystal. I hope do get some happy ending. :/

Yeah other than a few scenes of minor dialogue, I'm hoping the Generals don't end up just being blasted away anyway. I wonder if the other inners will be part of "waking them up" similar to how Venus was trying to tell Kunzite to wake up. I just hope their presence isn't totally wasted, it'd be really refreshing to see something new happen in the SM-verse

Well in PGSM the generals were alive.

PGSM also only lasted for a season. ^^ I think the hard thing about keeping them alive is that it means they have to stick around for future arcs.

I saw a fanfiction that had them around in Crystal Tokyo and in R.I kind of want that to happen

I could see them fitting into the rest of the series. PGSM went off and did its own thing.

There are ways of fitting them in of course, I just don't know if the Crystal writers would be bothered with adding yet more characters into future arcs. If they did, they'd still not feature prominently and would only be seen occasionally I think. It's another reason why I don't think the senshi/shitennou pairings would last beyond the first arc, if it ever happened at all.

This may sound harsh, but I hope they end it just like they did in the manga arc. Death, then Rebirth. I would also like to see sailor moon (attempt) suicide, then be protected by the pocket watch at the last second. 
It was such a wonderful moment of symbolism and redemption, since by stabbing herself and the pocket watch/silver crystal protected her and cleared mamoru's head at the same time. I'll actually be really upset if they remove any of those scenes. This adaptation is supposed to follow the manga more, anyways.

With the violence and graphic content being toned down i'm kind of losing hope for Crystal. The only reason i'm going to watch Act 11 is because A) i promised myself i would watch every Crystal episode until the end of the Black Moon arc and B) i really want to get to the Black Moon arc

Hopefully the second half of SMC will be more graphic

Japan has become more conservative about adult content in their media in recent years, so even anime series aimed at a more mature audience like Tokyo Ghoul were heavily censored.  And I believe Toei said it was going to be aimed at a combination of both new fans and older fans that grew up with the original.

I see and yet fanservice anime are made everyday.

The censorship in Japan is even more inconsistent than the censorship in America but even a few fanservice shows have been censored as well like that horrible Recently My Sister Has Been Unusual show that was heavily censored in its televised broadcast.  Even with Sailor Moon Crystal, the brief nudity in the henshin scenes has been toned down a lot from the henshin scenes of the original anime and Toei toned down the brief nudity and violence in Dragon Ball Kai as well.

I just hate censorship in general. Because half of the time it makes no sense. Honestly I am not asking for gore or anything. I just want to see the death of the character. Not rose petals showing the person is dead.

I agree that the censorship is annoying. I'm just trying to explain why even a show targeted at adults has some censorship in it as there has been a general backlash against racy content by some elements in Japan in recent years.  Just this past week Ken Akamatsu of Love Hina fame and a bunch of other anime and manga creators formed a lobbying group to protect freedom of expression for manga artists to fight back against the rise of censorship in Japan.

The censorship in Crystal makes me laugh because all that pops into my head when I think about it is this:

That is like the most graphic thing in the original anime. 

They actually censored the new transformations? What'd they do, remove the outline of a buttcrack or nip? The transformations were always like that. I am laughing so chibi hard right now you have no idea, this cracks me up.

I've always loved the Shitennou x Senshi pairings!! Super excited that they're all still alive in Crystal up to ep. 10!!

Speculating.. they'll probably end up as stones by the end of season 1 due to power over drain.. *sobs*.. 'cos Beryl (damn her) seem to be over abusing the shitennous' stones' powers in ep.10.. who knows how much more she's gonna abuse the shitennou's stones :'(
