What are you looking forward to the most in Crystal's adaptation in the Black Moon arc?  For me, I'm especially looking forward to seeing Sailor Pluto's full story being told this time.  She always seemed to get the short stick in the original anime as they cut out the whole thing about

and cut out the scenes of Chibi-usa coming to visit her.  I really hope we'll get to see this in Crystal and that they'll expand on

like they've been doing with the Shittenou and expand on their role as their arc was one of my fav parts about the R season in the original anime.  I also hope we'll get new opening and ending themes.  I love the themes we have now but I don't know that they would fit thematically with the Black Moon arc, especially the ending, and I would love to see new opening/ending credits with the Black Moon arc characters.

Diana and Pluto, for sure. I'm interested to see what'll happen with the Demando, Rubeus, Saphir, and Esmeraude as well.

Definitely this! I'm also excited for new attacks (Especially Burning Mandala and Venus Wink Chain Sword) and (hopefully) new transformations. With Venus' transformation looking fantastic, I think that any new transformations are going to look much better.

Oh, and a Sailor Quartet cameo would be FANTASTIC. Like if Chibiusa was thinking something like, "Sailor Moon and her guardians are super strong. I want to be like that!" And then show her with her Sailor Team silhouetted.

Maybe if the generals do get killed in the dark kingdom arc, we could see the inners still holding their rock forms? A thousand years later and the inners still have only the shitennou in their hearts.

I'm expecting Toei to stick to the formula they did for the Dark Kingdom arc. Change some minor bits here and there, but overall keep faithful to the manga. That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing Sailor Pluto making a proper appearance compared to R in the '90s anime. Also the new attacks, and hopefully something to keep the transformations fresh.

Another thing I want is that the Senshis don't get kidnapped. I mean, they could obviously be for plot reasons, but only later on. Mercury, for instance, gets kidnapped way too soon, we won't see her for months if they follow the manga in every step. They could get kidnapped after the Venus fight, for example, or when they get to Crystal Tokyo.

I'm all for Chibiusa imagining her own team, but showing silhouettes of the Quartet would be an incredible disservice to newcomers and anime only fans. Then again, it's pretty obvious at this point that this show is practically only catered toward super fans of Sailor Moon, so I could see something like this happening.

I just hope they get Pluto's skin tone right. They never seem to get it right in the merchandise (imo, her figuarts was delayed because of it). Hell, my Petit Charas just left her skin tone the same as every one else's.

....is it weird i hope they're able to go beyond and actually make Demando even MORE CREEPY? XD and i kinda hope they don't keep the Sister's alive...dunno why. i liked it in the old anime when they stayed alive...guess i just wanna see a change.^^0

The sisters staying alive in the oringal anime worked because it's its own canon. I don't think it will work in Crystal.

Actually, I've been thinking of how they're going to handle chibi moons transformation, since the official Art already proved that she will become a senshi at the end of the arc, like in the manga. Are they going to make a CG one reminiscent of her transformation (the only solo one she had) in the S movie? I hope so, I hope her transformation doesn't get thrown under the bus just because it only happens once near the end of the arc.

I agree... I think they have great designs and all, but in Crystal, they will probably appear very little, and there won't be much to them despite being evil and kind of counterparts for the Senshis.

The Shitennou are a different matter imo, since it seems Naoko wanted to show more of them, and the producers also said that keeping them alive was a way to focus more on the inner senshis (that get really thrown aside in this first arc) by giving them a little more plot.

Mars Snake Fire was in the Infinity arc

Mars burning mandala was the attack in the dark moon arc.
