Which is why I don't find their friendship believable. I feel like they're just there to serve Usagi and nothing else. 

It makes me sad. I see Crystal trying to do stuff, but it goes no where. =(
They really needed 26 episodes dedicated to this arc. I'm happy for people who want to see the Black Moon arc, but it took away from the story and the character development. That's why after this arc I'm not going to watch Crystal anymore. 

I really wish each arc got 26 episodes.

If the Black Moon arc follows the manga as accurately as the first arc has, the Black Moon arc should have more character development for the Senshi as that arc had some more individual episodes focused on the Inners than the Dark Kingdom arc does.

I'm still really looking forward to Black Lady and Setsuna's arcs.

I'm just looking forward to the villains.That is the only reason i'm excited about Crystal R. If you took away the Black Moon Clan from the season and replaced them with the Death Busters i wouldn't be so inclined to watch it.

I wonder if the same thing happen between Toei and Naoko. 

Well we know the animation studio episode of the original anime is semi-autobiographical.
