I am  My RP life is slow right now. I have a couple things to catch up on, but I know you wanted me to hold off on this one for a bit to let others react to selene's newest stuff.

Holy WOW!! I just read the RP thread!!!!! Everyone is doing such a great job! I can't wait to join in as Hotaru.

Now if only there were some people to be Minako, Makoto, and Artemis.

I sorta noticed how this RP is named Infection and how the Senshi have been 'cursed'. Now not that it's a big deal but don't you think it's kinda offensive to call those things curses or infections? Things like depression, ADHD and OCD, things that people kinda have no control over and didn't choose to have, it's kinda insulting to call them curses. I myself have a form of autism and I'd be lying if I said I wasnt a tiny bit offended when it said Hotaru was 'cursed' with autism. I'm not trying to intrude on your RP, I'm just a little worried what people that actually have these mental illnesses will react seeing the way their mind works being called a curse or an infection.

I have actually never thought of my title in this way. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I am very sorry to offend you. I had no intention of doing so, but let me try to explain.

The word "curse" is used in two ways: a noun and a verb. In this RP, the antagonist Selena "curses" the senshi with mental illnesses. The word "curse" is defined as "a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something." For example, Briar Rose's curse was to prick her finger on her 16th birthday. Selena holds a grudge against Usagi, and so her plan was to curse the senshi so that they could not fight against her when she tried to take over the world. In the case of this story, these illnesses are curses because they were places upon the senshi by Selena. Never, ever would I call someone with a mental illness "cursed," because that's just rude and insensitive. But in this case, they are called curses because the senshi were not born with them/did not develop them.

The point of this RP was not to offend those with mental illnesses - and I understand why it must seem that way right now. My plans were to have the senshi initially struggle with their mental illnesses (like I'm sure many of those with mental illnesses have) and then work together to embrace who they are and overcome their doubts.

Again, I am terribly sorry for having offended you. I hope my explanation has helped in some way. If you would like me to make some changes, please send me a PM and we can discuss it.

Alright guys, in interest of moving this story along, I have an idea.

Since Ed is on LOA still and Pluto is probably dealing with lots of other things, I'm thinking about maybe getting the Haruka post in and having OuterHarmonie post as Hotaru. My plan for Haruka was to maybe have her come home from a practice race to find Michiru not there, freak out, and blow up her phone with texts and calls xD. 

So I'll let OuterHarmonie post as Hotaru, then I'll post as Haruka, and if we haven't had any posts from Ed or Pluto by then, maybe Mercury could post as Michiru?

thats what i was planning, its going to be a struggle but I was going to maybe have her draw on the love and positive thoughts of TM and other senshi, it will be hard for her but she will do it.

Alrighty. I'm going to let Mercury make a Mercury post, and then I'll post with the villain taking on the form of Naru just to give Usagi one lingering feeling of guilt. Then you're free to attack

sounds like a plan. Sailor Moon will have to dig deep to overcome this, but then even after she attacks will still have her internal battles.

im generating thoughts on how Usagi will defeat this new enemy and how she will battle her inner conflicts.

Hey would someone be able to catch me up on what's happened in the RP for this so far?

Usagi and Mamoru went out on a date together when a shapeshifting monster appeared outside. This monster took on the forms of all of Usagi's closest friends/relatives: Ikuko, Kenji, Chibiusa, Naru, etc. The shapeshifter's goal is to target Usagi's weakness (her low self-confidence and her anorexia) and basically crush her spirit. Mamoru and most of the senshi (I believe Pluto, Mars, Neptune, Mercury, Uranus, and Saturn are on the scene) have been working to convince Usagi that the people she is seeing are not real. We are finally at the point where Usagi is realizing that the shapeshifter is lying to her, and the shapeshifter is about to be defeated.

I would at least go through and read the Mamoru posts that have been made so far, just so you get an idea of how he's feeling and things like that.

Also, some key things you will need to know:
* Everyone has been infected. So all of the girls officially have their mental illnesses. Because the past was changed, Mamoru's mind has also been changed to believe that the girls have had these illnesses all their lives. He has no idea that there is an actual villain behind this. Later in the RP, he will receive visits in his dreams from Queen Serenity, and so will Luna (and Artemis, if we ever get one). The three of them will work together to save the senshi and help them realize that life was not always this way.
* The monsters that appear during each encounter can only be defeated by the senshi whose weakness they are targeting. For example, the shapeshifter is only targeting Usagi, and so only Usagi can defeat it. The other senshi can obstruct it, but in the end only Usagi can kill it.

I thought about Makoto breaking down mentally on the street bathed in tears. The Outers are still at the place where Usagi fought against the shapeshifter, right? Maybe - on their way back home - they could find her in these bad conditions and stop with their car, so that Makoto can get into the actual plot?! xD idk, just a little idea of mine xD

That sounds great, Vivie! We can do that little scene, and then have a timeskip.

My plans are: A meeting at the shrine the next day. Since Ed is still on LOA, I'll play Rei for the time being. Everyone will be at the meeting (I will NPC Setsuna too), including Mamoru. Ami can give them information she gathered with her computer, Setsuna will tell them she's unable to return to the Gates, Rei will give information on her fire reading that she did, and then MONSTER ATTACK YAY! I think we'll have this one attack Hotaru, just for fun
