| Infection OOC Thread Storyline Thread Plot Summary: Chaos has been dormant for nine years. During that time span, the sailor senshi have lived normal, happy lives. Their careers have kicked off, but their friendship is still going strong. Their transformation phrases have not been uttered since the defeat of Galaxia, and at last they are free to live without the extra pressure of senshi responsibilities. The Guardian of Time, Sailor Pluto, is charged with the responsibility of informing her future queen of the approaching moment for her to forge Crystal Tokyo. However, when Sailor Pluto leaves her position at the Gates of Time to do so, the formerly-dormant enemy strikes. Selena, the sister of the first Queen Serenity, had been waiting for years to get revenge on the people of the Moon. Her plans to destroy the lives of the sailor senshi had been bubbling and boiling for quite some time, and finally the moment appeared. The unguarded Gates of Time gave Selena the perfect opportunity to travel through time and change the lives of each sailor senshi in dangerous, unforeseen ways. Her grand knowledge of magic and the dark arts enabled her to modify and change the DNA coding of each solar soldier, granting them all the curse of mental illness. The past changed the future, and the nine sailor senshi's lives were completely turned around. Now with mental illness standing in the way of adapting to senshi life, the sailors must find a way to adapt to their new inhibitors and work together to restore their future. Artemis ~ OPEN Selena DeLune ~ Sailor Pluto - The story so far:
Selena has made her lair at the top of Mount Fuji, and she has already "Infected" each senshi by going back in time and using her dark magic to alter their DNA. The past has been changed, and life goes on as if the senshi had been living with these mental illnesses throughout their entire lives.
Usagi and Mamoru went on a date at a fancy restaurant, and after their meal they were confronted by one of Selena's monsters. This monster is a shapeshifter that taps into Usagi's head and shifts into people who are very important to her. These people include Queen Serenity, Ikuko, Kenji, Naru, and Chibiusa. The shapeshifter targets Usagi's illness (anorexia) and shoots her down, making her feel like she is worthless and unloved. Mamoru and the senshi convinced Usagi that the things the shapeshifter was telling her are not true, and that it is just a monster trying to mess with her head. After gathering her strength, Usagi transformed and destroyed the monster. A meeting to discuss the event was scheduled for the next day at Rei's shrine. At the meeting, Ami informs the group that the energy given off by the enemy the previous day was of human origin, and that it was made of very dark magic. The meeting was suddenly interrupted when a strange, horrific smell floated through the air, drawing the group outside.
- Things to know:
Each character has been pre-assigned what their life has been like throughout the last nine years, along with what mental illness that are diagnosed with. That information for the claimable characters is below.
Rei Hino - The last nine years have been spent taking care of her grandfather, who had fallen ill shortly after Rei graduated. Sadly, he passed away two years ago, leaving Rei alone to take care of the shrine. Since then, she has become the head priestess of Hikawa Shrine, and spends her days helping other adults and children find their path (this may be subject to change as the roleplayer sees fit, however this outcome for Rei is rather a given in every version of Sailor Moon). When Selena altered Rei's DNA, she was cursed with Schizophrenia. For more information on Schizophrenia, click here. Rei is twenty-five, with no college education.
Artemis - Over the last nine years, Artemis has been living happily with Luna in their own home. He dwells as a human, having achieved the ability to change between cat and human some time ago. Currently, Artemis is preparing to be a new father, because Luna is pregnant with Diana. His memories have been altered to believe that Usagi and the senshi have had their mental illnesses throughout their whole lives. Artemis is a key character in this RP, and he will be vital to restoring Usagi and the senshi to their old selves.
NOTE: The roleplayer who previously played as Rei, Radicaledward124, is currently on an extensive LOA. By claiming Rei, you are accepting the terms that, should she return, you MUST give her character back if she wants it.
I would also like to ask for anyone claiming a character to read through the OOC thread, because I have mentioned some important things in my posts.
NOTE: By claiming any of these characters, it is expected that you will read through the Storyline Thread and the OOC Thread, because many important things have been said that are necessary for understanding what is/will be going on.

| I am strongly considering playing Minako here. I have read all the messages here in this thread/topic, and I think I'd enjoy playing an idol with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I read the page you linked to for this mental illness, and even though I don't have this full-blown disorder, I do tend to worry about lots of things needlessly.
This would be the first regular RPG I join on GC, although I role-played in last month's Event RPG here on GC, and I have over ten years of experience (from other forums and former Yahoo Groups) in this format of role-playing. So I might need a little help on the requirements of role-playing unique to GC, but in exchange, you should get someone who usually makes good posts and is enjoyable to role-play with. I know I would need to start by making a profile for Minako; I haven't started this yet, but will do so sometime this coming week if you're still active and you'll have me. |

If the profile that you made for Mamoru is Advanced and also a general profile than yes. All you need to do is update the SSI on it |

| You can totally take him! I'd like to focus more on Haruka, anyway The SSI is the Storyline Specific Information. It's the section of your character profile that explains the basic plot of the story you are playing in, and the role your character plays. For an idea, look at the SSI of my Mamoru profile: - Quote :
