Hello! 

I saw this forum mentioned somewhere (forgot where) and I thought I'd make an account. I'm also a member on SailorMoonForum.com - some of you may know me from there. My username on SMF is Fire (before that it was Silver and before THAT it was Cosmos). 

I am 24 years old and I live in Romania. I am an Architecture student and I like to dabble in the (not so dark) arts (drawing / painting, a little bit of sculpting, and building garage kits). 

I discovered Sailor Moon when I was a little girl. Initially I watched it on German and Italian channels and then in 1996 or 1997 they started airing it on Romanian TV as well. I like the old anime in its Japanese form, with English subtitles, but I'm also excited for the new Viz Media dub, since it seems less campy than the old one, and much more accurate. It's gonna be nice having the show play in the background while I do my stuff (I could never do that with the Japanese version because... I don't speak Japanese). I'm also very excited about Sailor Moon Crystal and so far I love what I've seen. Sure, the anime does have a few problems but I try not to be too picky with something that's pretty much a dream come true (an extension of my childhood into my adulthood? Yes please).

My favorite characters are Usagi , Princess Serenity  (I shall pretend that's the princess with the pretty silver hair that Crystal never gave us), Rei and Hotaru . In that order. I think. I dunno, sometimes I like Rei more than Serenity but... you get the general idea ). My favorite form of Sailor Moon is her Super form. Favorite brooch/compact is the Cosmic Heart Compact. Favorite wands are the Moon Stick and the Spiral Heart Moon Rod... And my favorite seasons are Classic and S. My least favorite Sailor Moon form is Eternal (also true about the other senshi - I think they look like cupcakes). And I dislike all of Sailor Moon's items from Stars . If I had to pick a least favorite anime season it would be SuperS, but I guess that's no surprise to anyone, since it seems to be the common choice for least favorite seasons. 

So far I have seen the old anime, read the manga, watched La Reconquista (and loved it), and am following Crystal. I'll probably check out PGSM one day, but I have to get over plushie Luna first. And Sailor Luna. And Princess Sailor Moon. Okay, it's gonna be a while...

Romania sounds like an awesome place.....^^ it's where Dracula is from! or rather Vlad Dracul. i like vampires too! why did you pick this screen name? it reminds me of the empress character from Neverending Story!

Welcome to GC! I'm Seren, and I love Usagi and Hotaru as well. I highly recommend PGSM, it's my personal favorite version of Sailor Moon. You should also check out some of the other musicals if you haven't already.

Uuuu dress design. I'm terrible when it comes to thinking up original outfits for characters. Somehow I always end up giving them an underbust corset, fluffy sleeves and an even fluffier skirt (with or without layers in different transparencies) ... I blame it on the "goth" phase I had in middle school, when that's ALL I would ever draw.

And wow, first reply I ever got on this forum and the person noticed the Neverending Story reference. I think I'll like it here  . The Neverending Story is my favorite book and I have a tattoo of the movie version of Auryn on my upper back. And although the meaning behind the Childlike Empress has nothing to do with Sailor Moon, I somehow feel like the name itself is fitting. So yeah, yay for multiple fandoms!

Hello! Thank you very much for the compliment and the warm greetings! I do plan on trying out PGSM but I think I'll leave that for when Crystal's 26 episodes finish and I'll inevitably feel like I need MORE. 

Same goes for the other musicals. In fact, I haven't even watched Petite Etrangere yet. I really like the actresses they chose for these new musicals, and to me their costumes and wigs look a lot better than what I saw of the old Sera Myu. Hmm... need to check it out

aaaand that is exactly why i offer my services! my brain likes to create, and dress designs are fun. i'm even doing a halloween dress design give away on DA! it's gonna be so muuuuch fuuuun!*flails*

corsets are awesome though. never underestimate the corset!

and i thought that's what it was from! please don't kill me, but i've only seen the movie...^^0 that's cool about the tattoo! you must post a pic! and OH YES. there are MANY people here who thoroughly enjoy their multiple fandoms, and some even do things to mix them. crossovers. XD

it probably is kinda fitting..i dunno, when i apply it to sailor moon, i think of either a young Princess Serenity, or Chibiusa stuck in a young body ruling Crystal Tokyo. XD that'd be an interesting universe....

My name is Erica, but most people on here call me Hikari. I love Princess Serenity, I am an Usagi fan to the bone and of course UsaMamo is my OTP 4 LIFE. I like hoturu too, she is not a favorite, but i think she gets forgotten. I also have to agree with you on eternal sailor moon, i maybe like her skirt, but that's it, i feel like her uniform is way too bulky, esp with the wings. I agree with you about Crystal, it has its flaws but its so great to see my childhood love getting a new lease on life and reaching new fans. I have only seen one ep of the new dub, it will take awhile to get used to, but I am excited for all that is going on in the SM world. Have you seen Petite Etrangere yet? I really liked it, i thought it was an improvement from la reconquista. Have you seen any of the sera myu musicals, those are absolute gems in my opinion. I also love and recommend the live action, both adaptations are super awesome.

Well thats it for now, i am stopping befroe i ramble on any more.
