Crying out as she attacked, she watched as one of the other senshi attacked. Good, attack while he's busy attacking me. Extending her scepter so it became her staff, she got ready for another attack.

"Soul Blast," she called out again, this time using her right hand to launch the attack while she kept the staff in her left, using it to help keep her balance. The damn thing had gotten her left side and she was having difficulty staying upright.

Sailor Moon watches the battle, feeling like something isn't right.  Brycen looked like he was in pain, not just on the outside, but on the inside as well.  She didn't want him to die, and watching these soldiers attack him caused a deep wrenching feeling in the pit of her stomach.  The words of Gloria rang through her head once more, and Sailor Moon decided to go with her instincts.  

One of her companions launched a third attack, and Sailor Moon couldn't take it anymore.  The creature was dazed, helpless.  This was not a monster.  This was a creature that had a heart, a mind, a soul.  She would do whatever she could to save it.  

With a surge of courage, Sailor Moon threw herself in front of the weakened Brycen, holding her arms out in order to protect him from any further damage.  

"Please, don't hurt him anymore!  The doll said that Brycen wanted friends.  Maybe...if we try and befriend him, he won't hurt us!  Please, I can try and heal him!  Give him a chance..." Sailor Moon pleaded.  She hoped she wasn't too late, and that the most recent attack hadn't killed Brycen.

Sailor Ganymede was getting ready to join the fight, waiting for a good time to strike out at the beast. When Brycen looked like he was stunned, she unhooked her Thunder Axe from her belt and the weapon flickered to life, green electric creating the curved blade.  Ganymede lifted the axe over her head and was about to bring it down when Sailor Moon got in between them. Seeing that Sailor Soul had already launched an attack, Ganymede quickly switched targets and defended Sailor Moon. She wasn't sure Brycen could be trusted, but she definitely didn't like allies getting hurt.

"Ganymede Lightning Slice!" She spun the axe around before swinging it down and releasing a shockwave of lightning to counter the Soul Blast.

Sailor Lolita was shocked when her attack delivered a blow. When she saw Sailor Moon jump in front of Brycen she was shocked. She did think about the words she heard Sailor Moon saying that deep down Brycen may not be a mean dog, and she could try to heal him she wanted to agree with Sailor Moon, but thought that Gloria could just use that opportunity to have him attack again. She had been in thought for so long she didn't realize she was no longer in senshi form. 

She placed her hand on her forehead and wished she could just muster up some confidence, but all she really wanted was to get  the heck out of this place, the whole situation made her feel like the room was spinning.

She watched as her attacked was cancelled out by one of the other senshi. She growled in frustration when she realized the other senshi had stopped her attack because the young blonde senshi had decided to be an idiot and try and protect the monster.

"What the hell is your problem?" she ground out, frustration and anger lacing her tone. "Are you a freaking idiot? Not everything can be saved. Some things are pure evil. I also don't feel like dying so move your skinny behind out of the way so I can attack and finish this off or I will use my stronger attack and trust me, that one cannot be stopped once it's started."

Sailor Ganymede felt almost sorry for Brycen as he vanished. Sure, he was an aggressive dog creature, but she wasn't exactly the most approachable person in the world either a couple of years ago. She used to terrify her fellow classmates and watch them cower for amusement, but when someone finally gave her a chance, she became a better person...sort of. Well, at least she wasn't entirely a jerk now.

"...This girl and her pet get stranger by the minute," she muttered before going through the next door.

The new room looked like a gallery, with simple abstract paintings on the stark white walls. The floor space was being taken up by large sculptures of people or animals, carved from what looked like stone or marble. A statue of a samurai riding a horse was closest to the next door, and hanging off the warrior's stone katana tip was a single key. This was surprisingly simple compared to the last room.

"I found the key," Ganymede said. "It's right by the door, on the sword."

"Uhh, what sword? I don't see any sword?" Seriously, were the people she was with crazy or something? The room that there were in was an extremely gorgeous library with dark hard wood bookcases, plush comfortable looking chairs and tables of the same wood between them. Older style lamps sat on the table, giving the room a soft glow.

"The key's sitting on the bookshelf over there by the door, not on any swords," she said, eye the other senshi.

Ganymede frowned and looked at Sailor Soul, temper flaring. "That's clearly a statue of a samurai by the door. How does that look like a bookshelf to you?" How blind could someone be to miss a huge stone carving? "See, it's right there!" She pointed directly at the statue.

"Something's not right here," she said, turning to the other senshi's in the room. "What do you guys see?" It didn't make any logical sense that her and Ganymede were seeing two vastly different things. The only possible explanation was that the room was spelled so everyone viewed it differently, but in order to confirm this, she had to fin out what the other saw.

Sailor Moon's mouth dropped open upon entering the room.  It was glittering and beautiful, with crystal walls and floors.  The click of her boots bounced off the walls, giving the small room a vast echoing effect.  She looked around, running her hands over the silver-colored furniture.  She seemed to be in a sitting room of some sort.  There were multiple chairs spaced evenly in front of the active fireplace, and a arrangement of paintings lined the walls.  Upon further examination, Sailor Moon realized that many of the paintings were of herself, Endymion, and Small Lady.  But she was much older and had gained the beauty and maturity of adulthood, and a tiara rested upon her head.  Was this...the palace in Crystal Tokyo?

Looking down, she realized that she was no longer in her fuku.  A long, white dress clung to her torso, fanning out slightly at her ankles.  The same tiara that was in the picture was on her head, and her hair had increased in length.

Sailor Moon, now Neo Queen Serenity, paid no attention to the two arguing senshi, for she was wound up in her own thoughts.  Was she dreaming?  Was she really in the crystal palace?  Had she time traveled?

Eager to explore more, Serenity approached the only other door in the room and turned the handle, surprised to find it locked.  Where was Endymion and Small Lady?  Why weren't they here, spending time with her?

Frustrated and flustered, the queen searched for a key.  Spinning in a slow circle, she examined every aspect of the room, searching for a silver key.  It took her a few seconds to realize that the key was right next to her, sittting on top of a painting of Artemis, Luna, and Diana.  How was she going to reach it?  With a silent swear, Serenity cursed her small height.  Perhaps one of the taller senshi could grab it for her.

"Would one of you be kind enough to fetch that key for me?  It is on top of this painting - I'm afraid I cannot reach it," Serenity said, laughing lightheartedly at her companions.

"The key is not on top of that painting." Leah said, sure there were paintings on the wall but there was no glitter and sparkles. The room resembled an art gallery with all types of work displayed. Leah walked around the gallery admiring all the works of art, and she came across one of her works. Only this was one of her in-progress works- the piece which Gloria had inspired hung proudly on the wall.

Leah stared in disbelief at the now finished painting growing more and more confused by the moment. She pulled the picture off the wall and turned to look at the back to see of there was some kind of clue as to how her painting had been finished and put on display. When she turned the painting around, she saw the key taped to the back, she pulled it off and exclaimed "I found the key, it is on the back of this painting."

"I think everyone is seeing the room differently," Amina commented when Usagi and Leah began arguing about where the key was. "I'm not really sure that it's a good idea to stay in this room for much longer, who knows what else it will make us see." Striding forward, she grabbed the key that was resting on the bookshelf and went over to the door. Please let this work, she thought. Sliding the key into the lock, she turned it to the right, hearing a click. She took a deep breath before pushing the door open, revealing the next room. Hopefully in this one, there would be no nasty surprises.

"You guys ready to get out of here and check out the next room?" she asked, turning back to the group.

Leah was surprised to see her two cats (one a striped brown cat and the other a fluffy calico) in front of her all of a sudden. She walked over to them and sat down. The cats climbed in her lap and were rubbing on her as she pet them. Leah was happy, confused as to how her cats were here, but they were and she was so happy. She heard her cats purr in content and she could have laid down right there and taken a nap with them.

Serenity grinned broadly when her beloved entered the room.  She approached him and wrapped her arms around his waist, happy to be with him once more.  "Endymion, darling, it's been too long," she said, pulling back and looking up at her ebony-haired husband.  "How was your week in America?" 

Endymion chuckled.  "Let's skip the small talk, Serenity.  I've missed you."

The lovestruck queen couldn't help but giggle at the butterflies that floated around her stomach.  Her attention was suddenly diverted at the memory of the key atop the painting.  Serenity pointed to the key and said, "Would you be kind enough to fetch that key for me?"

Endymion shook his head and scooped up his queen, carrying her to a chair where he sat down, holding her on his lap.  "Don't leave me here alone.  Stay with me forever," he purred.

Serenity completely lost herself in his words snuggling in his embrace.  She was no longer aware of the others in the room - it was just her and Endymion.

Before Sailor Ganymede could even comment on Anima's room theory, she was stopped by the sight of a redhead in a black leather jacket and motorcycle boots. The girl gave her an impatient look, and she completely forgot about looking for the key.

"Kazaki?" she asked. "What are you doing here?" The other girl's eyebrow twitched in annoyance.

"You're the one who's wandering around when he should be at a meeting! Remember that, Yuuta?"

"Uh...I guess." While caught in the illusion, his transformation had dropped. It sounded right to his hazy mind, so he allowed his fellow senshi and leader to sigh and slowly start leading him in a direction by the hand.

"Ugh, you're so clueless sometimes. How do you even get to school everyday?" he frowned.

"I'm not that bad..." She just laughed and squeezed his hand before continuing on. He blushed and tried his best to look angry at the insult.

"Maybe because you're a creepy doll that thinks it's O.K. to kidnap people in the middle of the night, and bring them here, and mess with us!" she growled out. "I'm kind of big on the whole consent thing and I get angry when consent and choice has been taken away from me." Done ranting at the doll, as saying anymore wasn't going to help anyway, she concentrated on the other senshi in the room with her. They were suddenly behaving weird, interacting with things she couldn't see.

Closing her eyes, she reached out with her powers. If there is any spirit out there that is able to help me, I would appreciate it. This doll that has kidnapped us is making my friends see things that aren't there, tryingto force them to stay here with her. I need to be able to see what they do, so I can help them and get them out of here. She shivered as she felt the caress of a ghost, sharing its power with her. Thank you, she whispered in her mind.

Opening her eyes, Amina turned towards the closest girl, seeing it was Leah. It looked like she had two cats with her. She walked over and knelt in front of the shy girl.

"Hey," she said, trying to get the other girls attention, "What do you say we get out of here?" She looked at the other girl, the one who had tried to protect that brute of an animal. Looked like she was interacting with some guy. She looked pretty happy though. She was going to be hard to separate from that guy by the looks of it. Amina couldn't worry about that just yet, she had to try and work with them one by one to get them into the next room. The other senshi was talking to a girl by the looks of it. If she could get them to realize that none of this was real, maybe they would snap out of it.

Leah looked up at the girl feeling quite confused. "I can't just leave my cats, can't you see how happy they are to see me?" She asked. She looked back down and pet her calico cat. "Why don't you stay with us awhile, my cats are very friendly." She said with a smile on her face.

"I'm sure your cats are very friendly hunny, but they aren't real. Your cats are at home where they belong. These cats here, they are nothing but an illusion. Do you not remember the doll, Gloria, she brought us here. Try and remember," Amina said, smiling sadly. She really didn't want to have to use force on anyone but if she was unable to snap them out of it, she would.

Leah sat for a moment, looking at her cats, who felt so real but the memories of Gloria began to creep in. She looked back down and her cats were gone. She realized Amina had been right. Leah sat slumped over for a moment as she said "why can't I leave this place, I just want to go home already." 

Leah normally didn't act so childish, but being in this place was beginning to take a toll on Leah. She wanted to be back in her apartment, in her comfort zone, where she could paint and create. 

She looked up at Amina with some fear and a lack of confidence as she said in a low voice, "do you think we will ever get out of here?"

"We will. If it's the last thing I do, I'll get us all out of here," Amina promised, grabbing the girl and hugging her. She looked so sad when she realized that her cats weren't real. 'I have to go help the other two. You can either stay with me, or you can go wait in the other room. I've unlocked the door, but I haven't had a chance to go in there and check it out yet." With that, she walked over to Sailor Ganymede, making sure she was in between the senshi and the girl he was talking to.

"Sailor Ganymede, we need to leave now," Amina said, using her sternest tone, the one she used on the children in her class who misbehaved. It usually got them to listen to her and begin behaving, as the tone left no room for argument. She only hoped it would work here.

Ganymede could hear Anima's voice in the back of his mind and for a moment, the illusion around her wavered. He blinked a few times as Kazaki flickered in and out of existence, but he really wanted to go back home with his friends where things made sense again, and so the illusion continued.

"Don't wanna leave with you..." he managed to say, trying to walk around Anima. Why was this girl getting in their way? He had things to do!

Orlaith/Sailor Titan

It was peaceful here. Warm. Orlaith smiled and let out a breath of relief. This place, it was beautiful. She could relax and have no worries here. No more fighting, no more war. No more needless death.

She could hear voices, voices that didn't quite belong in this paradise she found herself in, but Orlaith clung to the images in front of her, and blocked out those voices that wanted to pull her away. She wanted to be here. She wanted to believe that such a beautiful and peaceful place could actually exist.

Closing her eyes, Orlaith basked in the warmth of this paradise, losing herself for a moment. This was what life was meant to be like. She just knew it.

OOC:

Amina side stepped, blocking Ganymede from going any further. "You need to remember. Remember that Gloria is a creepy doll who kidnapped all of us and bring her here," she urged, looking Ganymede in the face. "We need to get out of here and to safety, but first I need you to remember."

She noticed that one of other senshi, Titan if she remembered correctly as also off in her own little world. Guess I'm going to work on her next, she thought.

Sailor Iron Woman/Toni Stark

Toni was in shock. This couldn't be correct. There was no way her parents were still alive. She had seen the bodies. She remembered the funerals. She was there. "No." She whispered. Her eyes misted as she tried to stand. Something kept yelling in her mind this wasn't right, they couldn't be alive, but she didnt' listen.

"Mamma." tears ran down her cheeks. She started forward towards her mother her hand out. She felt like a little girl again before her mother and father had bent taken from her, before she was left alone. Toni stumbled and fell to her knees. She wanted to be a child again that little girl whose parents were there to wipe away the nightmares.

The voices she heard weren't her parents but she didn't listen there was no way that they weren't there, they were. She wouldn't acknowledge that they weren't alive and well again. She shook her head trying to clearing the voices from her head.

Ganymede made an annoyed grunting sound when Anima got in his way again, but the things she was saying were starting to get to him.

"The doll...?" Right, the little doll he picked up at the park before he went to sleep. And then it came to life and trapped him in a house... The angry look he was giving Anima turned to confusion, and then understanding as the night's events played themselves over in his head. He was left with a sense of loneliness as the presence holding his hand disappeared.

"...It wasn't real, was it?" he asked, squeezing his hand into a fist at his side. He felt like an idiot. "We're still stuck in the house, right?"

"Yah, we are. I'm so sorry. That woman you saw, she meant a lot to you right? I've opened up the door to the next room but I'm not sure what's in there. I still need to deal with the other three here. Leah already awoke from the illusion," she said, pointing to the younger woman who was standing a little ways off. "Can you two keep an eye out for anything that may try and harm us in a mean time?"

With that, she walked over to Sailor Titan. It looked like she was envisioning the entire room as an oasis paradise. I wish I could join her. I think after this we all need a vacation, she mused to herself.

"Hey Sailor Scout," she said, standing so she was in the other girls direct line of view. "Party time's over, we gotta get going and get out of here."

Sailor Ganymede sighed and nodded in agreement with Anima, having no desire to talk about what he had seen. He tried to put the illusion out of his head as he went to stand by Leah.

"This house gets worse every new room we enter," he said to Leah, watching the door.

Orlaith hadn't wanted to listen to the voices, but now there was a voice that was louder, more insistent and it refused to let her ignore it.

Opening her eyes, Orlaith glanced towards the woman speaking. "Get out of here?" Orlaith repeated. She shook her head. "No, I don't want to. I like it here."

Although a part of her rebelled against the idea that she had to leave this place, another part, a small part, started to wonder if this was truly real. Everything was beginning to perhaps be a little too warm, a little too peaceful.

Could life truly be like this?

"Do we... really have to leave?" Orlaith asked, her voice quiet.
