Group Manga Read Through

This is pretty simple:

1. Every Friday I'll post a thread for a chapter of the manga. I'll post it on my mornings whenever possible, so it should be up by the time Friday starts for everyone in America etc.

2. Read the chapter. You can read any version you like - mixx, kodanasha, scanlation of choice, in English or Japanese or something else entirely.

3. Post your thoughts! Post your thoughts about other people's thoughts! Post your favourite panel or something that you think looks really weird!

4. Bonus: compare versions!

Act 2: Ami - Sailor Mercury

"Crescent-bald spot kitty" is a really long name for a cat, Mrs. Tsukino...

Out of curiosity, do you think Usagi has ever had a hair cut in her life? I wonder if my hair would have been that long at 14 if I had never cut it before.

I thought it very interesting that when Ami was playing the Sailor V game that she saw it in a number computer code.

It is so amusing to me that the transformation pens actually function as pens and that Usagi uses hers to cheat! Lol. I wonder if I would have done that in high school. -.- Probably not. I don't even think Usagi even still used to the pen after the first few seasons. It seems like it would have still been useful, even while her power increased.

How are Luna and Artemis able to use a computer, anyway? Wouldn't there paws be too big? Maybe the computer in the game center is modified for use by cats.

Out of curiosity, is Usagi's high-pitched screeching and crying really a weapon? That's sad, but so hilarious.

Gah. I'm officially leaving this chapter open for another week since so few of us have found the mental anything to post! XD;;; My self included *suitably guilty*. Will get back with my own commentary ASAP! (The amounts of work this week have been... erm... kinda ridiculous.)


I bet she hasn't cut her hair. I mean, I had hair down to my waist when I was 14, but she's in another league. >>

The screeching thing totally goes with the whole "we will take stereotypical girl things and KICK YOUR ARSE WITH THEM" thing yanno. XDDD

I think she takes some kind of calcium? Makes hair grow faster, I never cut my hair when I was younger and at 14 it was only at my thighs.

Though I have seen older woman with hair past their knee's, I know they have never cut their hair.

Oh man. STILL not over how much funnier I find the manga than the anime.

- OH MAN PLEASE PUT ON NORMAL CLOTHES. I mean I admit it's more stylish than your anime choices but really Mamoru WTH. I AM CUNNINGLY DISGUISED AS A NON-MASKED PERSON IN A TUXEDO, RLY, NO-ONE WILL EVER MAKE THE CONNECTION. BECAUSE DARK GLASSES.
