Name of the Storyline: Ghost Planets

Plot Summary: Long ago, before even the Silver Millenium was established, the Galaxy Cauldron created the Sun, and around it many planets started to form. In these early years, there were far more planets existing, and within them were sleeping Sailor Crystals, fated to one day become Sailor Senshi.

But the planets had not yet gained steady orbits, and as they grew bigger and stronger, they fought each other for the right to rotate around the Sun.

Some of the Proto-Planets were tossed into deep space or devoured by the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn. Others collided with each other and crumbled into dust.

One particular event involved a planet known as Theia, which collided with the still forming Earth and created the Moon that orbits it. Theia was lost in the collision, but scientists say it lives on in the present Earth and Moon, hidden in their cores...

When a planet dies, its Sailor Crystal is supposed to return to the Cauldron, but what if the lost planets of the Solar system were never truly destroyed? After the great battle between Sailor Moon and Chaos, strange things start to happen. Astronomers are reporting what look like extra planets appearing in the night sky. These "Ghost Planets" mark the beginning of a new enemy's plan.

The mysterious ancient senshi Sailor Theia reveals herself and is looking for the Silver and Golden crystals, claiming that they are holding shards of her missing Theia Crystal that will hold the key to restoring all the planets that were originally lost, and she and her group of Phantom Senshi, revived from their million year slumber within the present planets' cores by Chaos, will stop at nothing to get it back.

Details on any necessary information: This takes place after the Stars arc of the manga, maybe a couple of years later so the Guardian Senshi are 17-18. They haven't had a serious fight since Galaxia appeared, but everyone has done some light training on the side just as a precaution, and some are still fairly active fighting street crime.

The RP will be mainly about the senshi fighting off their Phantom counterparts and preventing the recreation of the Theia Crystal that can potentially destroy both Earth and the Moon. Sailor Theia will be the main villain, with the Phantom Senshi acting as Generals. The Phantoms I plan to use so far are:

Sailor Freeze (Mercury Phantom)

Sailor Blaze (Mars Phantom)

Sailor Thunder (Jupiter Phantom)

Sailor Luster (Venus Phantom)

As they are all born from the cores of the planets that replaced them, each Phantom has a similar appearance to the corresponding senshi (like a close relative would look) and a simplified, more element based power set. The personalities are also darker versions of the original senshi.

I'd like to join!

I have an accepted Mamoru and Usagi profile ((Is this advanced or relaxed?)) but I'd be open to play anyone needed, if someone really wanted to play either of those characters. ^^

I'm going to say relaxed on this one, I don't mind shorter posts. And having a Mamoru and/or Usagi would help a lot considering the main plot involves them. XD

So how do you envision this RP starting? Like what location? Would you want it broken up into small "chapters" of RP, based on the setting? Would it break off into different settings happening at once, or generally keep all players in the same scene?

I was thinking that the RP would work like the Black Moon arc, with Sailor Theia sending her Phantom senshi out to cause trouble and get more info on the Silver and Golden Crystals, and the Sailor Senshi fighting against them and trying to piece together what the enemy is planning. Each Phantom that is defeated lets the RP move in to the next chapter, and the enemy's motives become clearer and clearer as their plans escalate.

It would start in Tokyo right after the Ghost Planets start appearing in the media, with Sailor Theia setting up a base on the moon, and then sending the first Phantom down as a scout.

Everyone will pretty much stay in a group, which can be split in two if more people join, and they'll start investigating a weird string of robberies involving lots of ice and sightings of a person dressed like a Senshi.

The idea of dark!senshi really intrigue me so I'm quite tempted to join. Just can't decide as who yet. Will the counterparts be NPCed by the person who plays the good senshi or is it kind of free for all (as in anyone can control any/everyone)? I'm kind of more interested in developing the dark version's profile xD

Wow, sorry about not answering you, I somehow missed this post.   I've made very rough profiles for the Phantom Senshi for personal notes, like their basic personalities, appearance quirks, and what their powers are based off of. I was pretty much going to let whoever needed to control them at the moment to do so if they were interacting with them, but I could allow the person playing a good senshi to also play their counterpart using the simple guidelines I made already. I've already made a profile for Ami because I planned to use Sailor Freeze for the very first part of the RP. The other 3 senshi are still open though. I've linked Sailor Theia's complete profile to the first post, by the way.

I would love to see the guidelines for the phantom senshi! Also, are you basing this mainly on the anime or manga? Trying to decide between Rei, Mako, and Minako and I would like to know which of their personalities I'd need to stick to.

I'm going to base the timeline I'm using off of the manga's events, so that would be the personality to aim for.

I didn't give them specific attack names because they technically aren't real senshi. They manipulate the raw elements instead. Feel free to expand on their personalities/relationships between them more if it interests you. They're all pretty much as loyal to Theia as the Inners are to Usagi, to start with.

Ahh, Sailor Luster calls to me but I'd also like to try playing out manga!Rei. Decisions, decisions. I quite like both of Minako's side but I play her a lot in these RPs, so I may go with Rei after all, while keeping her counterpart an NPC for everyone. ^^

  And I feel like Usagi'd be the last to arrive to this meeting (and don't know if Mamoru was invited XD); as it's just us right now, do we want to NPC Mako and Minako arriving?

Seniors, yeah. I don't think Ami would yank Mamoru out of his college stuff for a before school talk, it'd be a little harder for him to get there. He'd definitely get a debrief of the situation later before they start investigating the whole thing.

About the NPCs, if no one else wants to join for the moment, I can just say that they were even more late than Usagi for some reason and were told about the whole thing during lunch break. Would you like a chance to post before I have Ami answer Rei?

AND THEN ONE MOOOORE THING    Phantom Mercury is in the sky during the day - is Phantom Jupiter in the sky at night/ rising at some point during the day/night and then setting during the night/day?  Or are these ghost planets sitting like point on Earth's celestial sphere, thus appearing whenever and wherever they please rather than being in a "physical" location in space?

Usagi would probably know the planet was there, but would not get any weird vibes from it because it's not directly connected to her. Once Theia starts doing things with her crystal shards, then she'll start feeling weird.

And the Ghost Planets sit on the imaginary celestial sphere as they are just illusions, so yeah, they can appear whenever. Mercury's ghost is currently the "dominant" one, so the others are invisible until they take over operations from Sailor Freeze.

Sorry for the wait, this weekend was busy. I'm just going to NPC Mako and Mina for now while they're in the scene.

Phew! XD Thank you Mercury! lol, I was stuck as to what Usagi would reply! lol; this is my first real time playing her and I'm having issues using heart before brain with her XD 

u.u so sorry in advance (and in retrospect XD) if my version of Usagi is a little more introspective than she perhaps should be ^^' I'm definitely going off of Manga-verse with her and she got pretty deep with Galaxia so I'm thinking I'm not drastically too far off, but if I have her do or say something that's a little OOC, please call me on it so I can fix it! ♥

Oh no, I understand. It's been a couple of years after Galaxia, so it's not weird to assume that Usagi's become a deeper thinker as time went on. This isn't exactly a normal situation anyway... XD
