Simon watched as Abigale searched Mr. Manners body. He knew she was looking for something that may explain all this. Simon knew people like Mr. Manners, if there wasn't a journal on his body, there definitely would be one somewhere else.

Bethany thought it was kind of bold of Abigaile to go and touch Mr. Manners. She made a mental note of it for later. She looked around the room. "Did anyone find anything, like... interesting while they were gone?" Interesting. That's one word for it.

Samanth came back from the basement... and headed to the Dinning room

she wondered why someone was going over the body...  "So now what are we going to do" she asked

Tara answered Sara as the nervous girl began to check Mr. Manners' body, the thought of having to touch him sent a shiver down her spine; she would definitely need more than a new manicure.  "Get this, what if someone murdered Mr. Manner for his money?"  She was happy to share the information with Sara if it meant finding the murderer faster.  "We found a book that had to do with language or something like that and we think it might be connected."  She finished proudly, happy to contribute something to the nothing that was going.  "Did you find anything down in the basement?"

Stu returned to the dining room, wondering if everyone else had come to their senses yet and bonk the gardener in the head before making a break for it. He didn't deal well with being trapped in a house full of strangers - it made him feel claustrophobic. Stepping in in time to hear one of the others propose a possibility for motive, he frowned. "What does money have to do with a book of languages?" Well, at least someone was searching the body now. Next thing they knew he really died of natural causes and this wasn't the drama that everyone made it out to be.

The walk back to the dining room was a quick one, with his head still full of random bits of things that he couldn't make heads or tails of. This spring break was turning out to be a lot more confusing than he had ever thought possible.

It seemed most everyone else had come back to the dining room as well, though Kyle couldn't figure out the reason behind it. If it were up to him, he would have picked a place a little less.. dead body-ish.

People began to talk about some of the things they had found in their searches, but it all went in through one ear and out the other. Instead, Kyle decided to interject with the one clue he had found, the one that had been poking around in his brain ever since he had first spotted it.

"I saw a lot of spiderwebs in the study. It was totally strange."

Kyle remembered how skeptical most of the people in the study had reacted to his clue, so Kyle crossed his arms in a defensive way, daring someone to say something negative about his spiderwebs. These spiderwebs were important! Somehow! It didn't matter that he had no idea why they were important. He just knew that they were.

Somehow.

It was then that Kyle realized that one of the others had decided to begin searching the owner man's body. She hadn't even said anything at all.

Kyle frowned. "Uhhh... what are you doing, lady?"

Abigale looked up at the man. Kyle? She thought that was the boys name. Everyone was looking at her in disgust!

"I just thought the murderer might have left a note of some sort. Telling him to come here for some reason or explaining all of this. Maybe Mr. Manners had a journal or a diary that had some kind of information....but I didn't find anything." Abigale got up from the ground and sat back down in her chair.

She didn't get why everyone was looking at her strangely. It's not like she wanted to touch the dead body! It actually made her feel a bit nauseated. But if the murderer is really still in this house...they might plan to strike again. Searching a body for clues can reveal a lot about what happened. Well, apparently not in this case, but still.

It was nerve wracking for Alejandro to speak up due to being such an introverted person. He knew he needed to say something. "I searched body earlier." Pulling out a wad of tissue paper from his pocket, "This was all I found." Finding the courage to continue speaking up, "Wanting Mr. Manners' money is a broad statement. Any person can want money."

Clara disgustingly looked at Abigale and Alejandro. "That is like not cool."

"W-well that was as far... I don't remember exactly..." Tara stammered, she hadn't quite understood what they had figured out in the study. This whole solve the murder thing went over her head. She hadn't thought everybody would question her. "Do you have any other ideas then? People tend to get murdered for money." She pointed out.

Bethany was relieved when Kyle entered the room. So relieved, she stood up to start walking to him. Then she overheard Alejandro's comment. She stopped walking and turned to face him. "When did you search the body?" Bethany asked him, eyes narrowing. It was true Alejandro had reentered the dining room before her- maybe he'd searched then? Or perhaps he'd never left? Then again, she'd seen him leave before she'd left for the study... Hadn't she?

Following on from Bethany's comment, Cyndi started to get suspicious of Alejandro. She'd returned shortly after him... Tara and Bethany were in the room when she'd returned, along with Alejandro... 

Cyndi turned to Tara & Bethany and asked, "Did Alejandro search the body when you two were in here with him?"

If they hadn't seen him do it, then when would he of got the chance to search the body?

Ken walked back to the dining room seeing all the guest have arrived there. Listening on conversation he knew that Cyndi had something against Alejandro. "Mr.Manners was our boss, with his death we have a lot more to worry about then you guys."

He walked around the dining room slowly talking and hoping everyone was listening "We have to think about this carefully. Someone in this room murdered Mr. Manners....if it was for his money..." Ken couldn't finish his statement. His eyes glanced to Mr. Manners corpse.

"You were saying, Ken?" Cyndi questioned.

Tara interjected when Ken paused to answer Cyndi's question, "nobody did anything to the body when we were here, as far as I knew Abigale was the only one to search."

"So, that leaves the question of how Alejandro got the chance to search the body and find what he did..." Cyndi took a few steps away from Alejandro as she said this.

The next search phase will start at 5:00 pm Central tonight. ((3 hours, fifteen minutes from now))

"When we searched the house I looked on his body for evidence just like that girl. Ken was there," he defended. To have someone searching the body in frontbof them shows honesty. "Why would I tell you I did it if I was hiding something?" He continued to explain. "Mr. Manners' is my boss. Ken's too. Why would I hurt my job?"

"Well, your boss is dead." Stated Abigale. "So, wouldn't that hurt your job?" She lightly smiled in Alejandro's direction, trying to inform him that she was just joking and was on his side.

"I think Robert might be the murderer. Has anyone seen or heard anything from him? Maybe he's secretly off planning who's to kill next....or is already killed...I think we should vote him off."

OOC:

He regained himself and protested "If someone killed Mr. Manners for his money...that's unforgivable. Mr. Manners was a great man and he probably would have helped whoever needed it." Ken sighed "I was with Alejandro when he searched Mr. Manners. I wouldn't lie about that." Ken knew he needed to take charge of this situation before another innocent being gets hurt.

Robert, hearing the soft accusation as he made his way back downstairs, yelled loudly, "Hey! I did not kill Mr. Manner---WOAH!" A loud series of thumps followed, as he slipped and fell down the stairs. 


You can choose to investigate his body or not, but he obviously knocked himself out by falling down the stairs. As everyone else is in the dining room, there is no hint of foul play.

Mr Crabtree listened to all the gossip carefully. So, two people had searched the body but neither of them had noticed any wounds or cause of death..?

He turned toward Tara. "Why was that book important? Where did you find it? Surely not the study, there were lots of books there... Unless it's something to do with the cobwebs that boy," he crooked his head toward Kyle, "is yammering on about..?" He fixed both of them with a piercing glare in turn, daring them not to answer him.

Ack!:

Mr Crabtree jumped slightly at the noise and turned arthritically toward the noise. "What the...??"

"Ok, ok, it seems as though Alejandro has been cleared of suspicion." Cyndi concluded, Just as she said that she heard a gigantic thud. She rushed out to the staircase to see Robert laying unconscious. With an option of searching him being an idea she did so and searched Robert.

Poor Boy... She thought to herself.

Sara was debating what to do when she heard a loud thump come from the stairs. She turned around and saw Robert's body...

"Ah, Tara, could you tell me about that book?'

"Ummm... guys?" Cyndi looked up from Robert a moment to reveal something in her hand. "I found Robert's diary."

Robert's Diary:

"I don't think it gives us any useful leads apart from information about Robert." Cyndi sighed, brushing her hair off of her face.

Alejandro blushed as he realized the girl was joking around. English was becoming easier and easier to understand except certain jokes and sarcasm. Just as everyone seemed to become united as a team Alejandro jumped a bit as a loud noise came tumbling down. It appeared to be a boy named Robert. Everything seemed to be happening so fast. It was just a regular morning. How could something like this happen so quickly?

'That's not a lot to go on...' Alejandro thought to himself. As he shuffled with the tissue paper in his hand it dawned on him that there appeared to be no exterior wounds on Mr. Manners. Was it internal? he thought to himself. Putting the wad in his pocket he quickly wiped his hands on his pants just to be careful.

Tara didn't expect to them to have so much interest in the books they had found. "Yeah it was in the study, why don't you go and search for yourself, we left them there." Tara didn't expect herself to be so defensive about. "I think I'll go see if I can find some more clues." Tara left to search the house.
