Appearance: Kimiko stands at 5'6", and has a slim build that is filled out with womanly curves. Kimiko's hair is a copper brown that reaches a little past her shoulders and is streaked with a lighter blonde color throughout. Her hair has been cut to have bangs and layers that curve towards her face. Sometimes she styles her hair to be in soft curls or put up in a ponytail, but it is more normal for her to leave it down and straight. Kimiko's eyes are a bright green color.

Her style of dress is trendy and stylish, always fitted for her, and very slimming. She is always aware of changes trends in the fashion world, and she makes sure that she is the first to go out and buy new clothes as soon as a certain style begins to become popular. Despite this, she does have a few pieces of clothing that never get swapped out from her closet, clothes that she claims are classy and would never go out of style, and one of her favorite outfits is a slinky black dress that she pairs with high heels and some jewelry. If one were to dig deep into her closet, however, it would be possible to find some baggier clothing that are more for comfort rather than style, but Kimiko hasn't worn them in years.

Personality: Kimiko is a perfectionist, through and through. She demands perfection from herself and from others at all times, and she does not waste her time with anyone who does not try their best. Once she decides something, she goes right to it, able to quickly look at something, analyze the facts, decide what should be done and then she does it before instantly moving to the next thing. She is good at analytical thinking, and is also able to read people's attitudes and facial expressions fairly easily. Kimiko is quick-thinking and quick-acting, and has a hard time slowing down to enjoy herself. She also has a hard time following a plan, and instead tends to make things up as she goes along, relying on her improvisation and intellect to guide her.

Kimiko loves luxury and spending money. She has grown up used to a lush lifestyle, and being given everything she desires. Because of this, she has grown to be selfish, and can react badly when she doesn't get her way.

She has a strong sense of what she believes is either right or wrong, and she rarely can be swayed to change her views. But because of this, she sometimes breaks rules, because she believes that those rules are more guidelines than anything else, and if she believes she must do something, she will, rules or not. But on the other end of the scale, she will not do anything that she believes is wrong, no matter what.

Kimiko sometimes hurts other people's feelings, without ever realizing it. It is not because she is intentionally mean, but more of the fact that she just does not take feelings into account. Her demeanor looks at facts and evidence, and does not ever think about the more intuitive side of things. She doesn't believe that emotion and intuition are necessary when it comes to dealing with things, or making decisions. Because of this, she doesn't like dealing with emotions or theoreticals, and instead only wants to focus on facts and logic.

Because she focuses so much on her own life, Kimiko does not have any real friends, only distant acquaintances from school. She tells herself that it doesn't matter, and that she has no time for such things and throws herself into her next project or her studies. But sometimes she can't help but wonder what it would be like to be close to someone, to not feel as though she made people angry by her blunt way of speaking.

As a senshi, Kimiko is able to use her fast-paced thinking to her advantage, and takes in dangerous situations quickly. Her attacks are versatile to match her thought process and give her a good range of reactionary abilities, allowing her to change and adapt as necessary. But she has a hard time working with others, and needs to learn team work in order to be a fully effective team member. She is also pretty competitive, wanting to be the best, without realizing that competition holds no place in a battlefield.

History: As their only child, her mama and papa doted on her at every turn. Her father stayed at home, taking care of the house and working on his story writing, whilst her mother was a busy businesswoman, head of a big corporation. Kimiko's father made a decent wage, but it was her mother that brought in all of the money. When she was younger, Kimiko was much different than she is now, learning ambition and confidence from her mother, and humility and calm from her father.

However, when she was about six years old, her parents divorced on agreeable terms. Because her mother was never home, Kimiko didn't notice too much of a difference. She continued to live with her father in their old house, and every once in a while she would go visit with her mother for a few days. But, without the added income from his wife, Kimiko's father found himself suddenly dealing with a whole lot of bills and with no way to pay them. He moved the family into a much smaller house, and became less like his normally cheerful self. Instead of focusing on writing, he focused on being angry and complaining. Kimiko did not understand the change in her father, but she listened to him, and listened as he complained about the royal family. Her mother seemed to have changed as well, becoming more ambitious and condescending. Kimiko was still doted upon, with her father giving her all he could, and her mother able to buy her anything she wanted, but she no longer felt like her family was still a family. It felt broken, and she couldn't figure out how to fix it.

As she grew older, Kimiko listened even more to her father's complaints, and soon she, too, blamed the royal family for all of her own family's misfortune. Why didn't the Queen give her father all the money he wanted? Why didn't they make her parents stay together? Why had she looked up to the beautiful queen when she was younger? She knew better now.

Logically, Kimiko knew the truth: that her parents were solely to blame. But that truth has been pushed down so far that she no longer looks at the situation with clear eyes.

In school, Kimiko is at the top of her class. She strives to be just as successful as her mother, and forces herself to spend most of her free time either studying or shopping with her mother's credit card. But she has no friends, and her blunt ways and her need for perfection have lost her any potential friendships she might have made. But she's okay with that. She spends too much time studying anyway.    

But a small part of her wonders what it would be like, and if she would ever get the chance to try.

Other Noteworthy Facts: Kimiko is very smart, both because of her nature, and because she forces herself to study hard and often so she can get the best grades, though studying is not something she particularly enjoys. But she is good at it, and she knows it will pay off in the future, and so she does it. Kimiko has an interest in the arts and music, but she is not very talented in either of those, so she stopped doing them. She did not see the point in those activities if the results were lackluster.


Storyline Specific Information:
Gates of Horn and Ivory: In this storyline, Kimiko will awaken as Sailor Algaea and become a part of the Elysion Trio, the guardian senshi of Sailor Elysion. She will also come to learn that the idea of 'wealth' does not always pertain to financial status.

Senshi Fuku: Aglaea's signature colors are royal puple and aquamarine, with small accents of bright green, reminiscent of a peacock's coloring, an animal symbolizing renewal, elegance, and extravagance. The base of the fuku is a white bodysuit. She has a golden tiara in the shape of a V with a purple oval-shaped gem sitting in the angle of the V. A two small green gems surroundings a larger purple gem sits at the base of her throat, held in place by a golden choker necklace. She wears earrings that are of a similar style as her necklace: three dangling chains that hang at varying lengths and end with one small gem each; one green, one purple and one blue per earring. Her collar is purple with two stripes of bright green. Her front and back bows are both aquamarine in color, and in the center of the front bow is an oval purple gem. Her gloves come up to her elbows and end with a single purple stripe at the end of the fabric. Her skirt is purple with a stripe of aquamarine and a stripe of green at the bottom. Her shoes are a purple pair of high heel ankle boots that buckle at the side.

Powers:
Opulence Flash!: An attack that is both offensive and defensive. Aglaea takes the coins in her Pouch and flings them at the enemy. The coins flash and glow as they fly into the air. This attack does a small amount of damage where the coins hit the target, but they are effective to distract an enemy, giving others a chance to attack instead. Because of the unlimited amount of coins in her Pouch, Aglaea can use this attack often, though its amount of damage is minimal, and the distraction factor won't work on an enemy after multiple uses.
Gilded Circlet!: An attack that is both offensive and defensive. Aglaea holds her hands out as energy forms between them, spinning around and around, creating a hoop of shimmering purple energy. At this point, she has to decide whether the attack will be offensive or defensive. If she chooses to make it offensive, the attack remains as energy as it is thrown and impacts with the target, doing an average amount of damage. If defensive, then the energy becomes more substantial and once it impacts with the target, the energy spins around the enemy until it is completely corporeal, and then it tightens around the enemy, keeping it in place. Aglaea must concentrate on keeping the circlet in place, rendering her useless until she lets it go, otherwise it dissipates into nothing before she is ready.

Weapons or Magical Items:
Communicator: A handheld device given to her by Sailor Eysion's guardian cat, Phoebe, so that she may keep in contact with the other senshi.
Transformation Coin: A bronze coin that is flat and round with a square cut out in the middle. When she transforms, this coin turns into her Treasure Pouch, creating an unlimited amount of coins in a similar style as the original.
Treasure Pouch: A aquamarine pouch tied to Aglaea's hip by a green cord that has been tied with a Mystic Knot. Inside the pouch are many coins of bronze, copper, gold and silver. Aglaea uses these coins in her Opulence Flash attack.

Even with her arms weighed down by multiple shopping bags, Kimiko had no trouble opening the door to the apartment. Shifting the bags out of the way with a kind of expertise, she opened the door and stepped inside her home.

"I'm home, Papa," she called out as she set the bags down. Most contained clothing, but a few also held food and other necessities. She had bought the food with her mother's money as well, but her mother didn't need to know that.

There was no answer to her greeting, and for a second, Kimiko wondered if her father had gone out somewhere.

But no. Papa rarely left the house anymore.

She found him in his study, mumbling to himself as he stared at the computer. He did not move when she entered the room, and instead he mumbled to himself as he continued to look at the screen in front of him. Kimiko approached him, curious if he had decided to start writing again.

The computer was opened to a writing program, but the page was completely without words. She did not know how much time he had spent sitting here, but it was obviously all a waste.

Kimiko frowned, turning her own gaze to look at her father's face. He looked blank, as if he were not truly here in the same room as her.

She placed her hand on his shoulder, startling him out of his own thoughts. He glanced up to her. "Kimiko! You're home."

Kimiko smiled in response, before giving him a box of his favorite cookies. "Here, I bought these for you while I was out."

"Thank you, Kimiko," her father said with a smile of his own. It was nice to see him smile like that, almost the same care-free smile that never left his lips years ago. But it wasn't long before she lost him to the computer once again, his mumbled words breaking up the silence.

Well, there was no reason to stay here in the room any longer.

She returned to the main room, leaning over to pick up the rest of the shopping bags. A glimmer of reflected light caught her eyes as she stood up. Through the window, in the distance, the Palace shone and shimmered in the sunlight. It was a beautiful building, sparkling like a jewel.

But she glared at it, hated it. The royal family sat inside that very palace, pampered and loved, while her poor Papa was forced to be in that dark room, all alone, with only his own mumbling thoughts for company. The royal family presented themselves as being these perfect beings, using the lackluster lives of their subjects to make theirselves shine even more brightly.

She hated them for it. How dare they do this to her family, to her Papa?

It wasn't as if she could do anything to change anything, she knew, bitter though it was to admit. But she wouldn't forget what they had done. She might live in their city, but she wasn't going to give them her devotion like most other citizens.

She refused.
