Has anyone noticed how throughout the years of Myu, how especially the wigs have kinda looked worse and more tacky?

For example:
Anzu-Moon and Fumina-Moon's wigs were really nice and spiraled and pretty? Then Marina-Moon's looked like it had split ends everywhere??

Or how the first Neptune wigs started out as long and wavy then got shorter and shorter to almost a bobcut with hardly any to no wave at all??

I think it depends on people's personal preferences on the wigs. I have to say that I personally think the official second and third stage improved wigs when compared to the first stage, two main reasons for this being bigger budgets and the material changes. Also, I think that many of the wigs of the later stages were designed and cut to somewhat fit the actresses' own facial features, as well. By the way, in some promotion photos and videos some of the new actresses were still wearing the old wigs before they got their own ones.

When it comes to Moon's wigs, Anza was the one who got most wigs and you can see how they changed the design during the years. Fumina got the wigs that had the most curled pigtails and from her wigs to Marina's, the bangs were straighter than Anza's wigs had. Miyuki's wigs had the same general cut as Fumina's but with less curled pigtails. Marina's wigs on the contrary had completely straight pigtails (not counting in the ends that were curled) and round, differently shaped buns unlike the previous wigs. Since Marina's pigtails were not curled, they were cut in bit a different way to prevent the hair ending up tangled or stuck to the microphone when performing on stage.

It looks to me like the wigs for the new Myu are pretty good! Yet to really see them in action obv but compared to what I've seen of the older Myu's, I don't think they look cheaper at all!

The new Myu's wig for Moon are not going to work..at least from what I saw of the Animelo performance. Moon's wing was ALL over the place and constantly in the poor girls face. I hope they either fix or are using something different for the actual stage production...

Yeah, I saw people talking about that! Hopefully they're just wigs for like PR appearances. Well surely they'll have had enough costume rehearsals by now to have fixed it if it has been an issue..!

Oh I see! Yeah now that I read everyone's response, I can understand wigs were adjusted so they could be compatible with performance. To be honest I haven't watched very many musicals so my opinion was more so based of visual looks, as I was browsing through my saved images.

I agree with you Brit.

This is actually also one of the reasons why I mentioned Marina having a different kind of style in her wig as the pigtails were not curled but didn't tangle nor get in her face, working well like the previous curled ones did. Satomi's current wig is not going to work without being all over the place which is not nice since the girl had to use a lot of her concentration to keep the wig as much out of her way as she could. I also hope that they will use something different for the actual stage production.
