The Galaxy Cauldron RPG is pleased to announce a second storyline contest! This storyline contest is different from the last storyline contest.

This contest will have two categories.
1. The storyline to show the highest level of activity by the end date for the contest.
Activity will be judged according to the number of role-playing posts in a storyline beginning now and lasting until 31 May.
'Bump' posts and 'OOC-only' posts will not count toward activity. Remember, role-play posts are expected to be at least 100 words.
There will only be one winner for this category. Winner = storyline

2. The storyline(s) which have finished by the 31st of May.
There can be multiple winners for this category.
The storyline must be completely finished by 31 May. This means there will be no more role-playing posts placed within the storyline after the completion of the storyline contest, because the storyline has finished and there is nothing left to be role-played.

Any active, in-active, brand new, and not-yet-started storylines may participate in the contest. Closed storylines may not participate in this contest, because that would defeat the entire purpose of the contest. Role-plays currently placed within the Practice Board will not count toward this contest.

The winning storyline(s), which achieve either category 1, category 2, or both categories, will receive a winning signature. The winning signature will be designed to match the theme of the winning storyline(s) as closely as possible.

The start date for this contest is now, i.e. the post date for this thread. The end of the contest will be 31 May. Please reply to this thread if you have any questions or concerns. The moderators of this contest will be Sailor Uranus and Verdandi.

Question: can a practice roleplay count?

This RPG Contest has me so excited. I was all atwitter in the chatbox yesterday.

The Contest is well underway and already some of the boards are pulling ahead! Stats as of April 17th are as follows!

In the Silver Millennium, Silver Lights is in the lead, with a total of 7 new posts! Trailing behind by 4 is Earth Kingdom Adventure, just started but already ahead of long-running RP's! Go, Silver Millennium, go!

In Tokyo City, Chibi-Usa is trying to poke the other members awake in The Slumber Party, but the other girls are sleeping heavily!

The Crystal Tokyo forums are sleeping soundly... no activity there! But could a board from there come from behind and snag the trophy?! Could the current featured roleplay, Metamorphosis, come from behind and win?! It's just the start of day two, so it's anyone's game!

Finally, our boards in the Free Form Forum are struggling to keep up! My Little Soldier Adventure currently has 2 counted posts; Batteries has one, but with the abolition of their posting order that might change very shortly! And, finally, Genesis is crawling out of inactivity with one counted post!

That's right, everyone! The weekend has come and gone and it's time for an update on our ACTIVITY CONTEST!

In the Silver Millennium, Earth Kingdom Adventures (12) has pulled ahead of Silver Lights (10) by two posts! It's a close race that either board could win!

Meanwhile, our Tokyo City boards. Night in a Candy Factory (3) leads The Slumber Party (1) by two, as well! But they've both got a ways to go to catch up to our Silver Millennium boards - difficult, but not impossible with their higher player counts!

Crystal Tokyo is still silent.... but could Metamorphosis come out from behind to win?

Our Free Form Forum boards have a chance at the top, too! Batteries (4) and My Little Soldier Adventure (4) are tied in those boards, with Genesis (2) well on its way!


As a general reminder, while I may break these stories down into their home boards, all storylines are competing against each other, it's not a section-by-section event! As we enter into our first full week of the contest, it's still anyone's game, so be sure to jump into a board and start posting! Those wonderful prizes are up for grabs!

Metamorphosis with 2 - Featured RP Neo Queen Serenity is dead. Can the senshi find a way to live on without her, and defeat the Black Moon Clan?

Genesis with 2 - The senshi of the Orion Constellation are reborn on Earth, and must find their Princess and defeat Scorpio before it's too late!
