I'm following the manga, and in the Stars arc the Inner Senshi plus Pluto were shown in their Super form in the 30th century. No explanation was ever given for this. Personally, I chalk it up to Naoko Takeuchi making an error while she was drawing the manga and just forgot to draw them in their Eternal form.

Oooh so this is kinda explaining the Death Phantom attack that occurs before hte Black Moon Clan which was never really expanded on. PERFECT USE OF UNEXPLORED STORY PLOTS. XD I love how it ties Helios into the future as well.

Awww, still catching up from time to time and still very happy to have Helios in a story. (Also the grand sacrifice is something I like so this is really good xD).

And as Small Lady said I like to see plot holes being corrected by fanworks.

Can't wait to see what comes next!

I actually wanted to see if Naoko Takeuchi had given us more details on the Death Phantom's origins, but that was basically all she told us, which I guess worked out well for my purposes. XD;; But I think these "plot holes" are actually a boon for fans, because we get to speculate and interpret thing in our own way, and it would still fall within the canon's frame work.

Despite the depressing topic, I had a lot of fun drawing these two pages! Gets bricked. Funny thing is when I was drawing the second page there was so much line art and details that I felt like I was drawing a CLAMP doujinshi, instead of a Sailor Moon doujinshi. XD;;

Yeah...I actually try not to advertise it too aggressively, since selling doujinshi is kind of in a legal gray zone, in terms of copy rights. I usually make my announcements for the printed copies on Tumblr and Deviantart, so if you're interested, feel free to follow me on one of the two sites.

I have my own theory on this, which will be revealed in my own fan manga. It's actually one of the questions I attempt to answer in my manga (i.e., one of the reasons for creating it).

Exactly! I think the best part about fandoming is getting to explore unexplored aspects of your favorite work of fiction. Even plot holes can be useful if it leaves room for fan-interpretation. ^^

Thanks! I actually almost forgot to include the ring, but thankfully I have my Sailor Moon on my desk, and I remembered to draw the ring when I glanced down at my stack of manga. ^^;

Shoot, I'm behind somehow. I missed some pages or something, so I have to go back a little. ((Did I just read a spoiler from Small Lady, or am I understanding her wrong? @__@ Oh well, time to read.))

The idea of parents withholding the news of a loved one's death from a child came from a story I read a number of years ago, about a young athlete competing in the 2008 Olympics. The details are groggy now, but I recall the athlete was competing in her first Olympics at the time. Days before her competition her grandmother fell ill and passed away. Her parents didn't tell her the news until after her competition, as she had--quite literately--been training her entire life for the Olympics, and by the time they did it was too late for the girl to say goodbye to her grandmother.

At the time I thought it was cruel that the parents did, but years later, as I was writing Future Reunion that news story came back to mind. Would her parents' actions still be considered cruel the grandmother had passed away before the girl could possibly make it back home? Wouldn't it better to at least let her have her chance at Olympic gold, something she's spent her whole life pursuing, then gently tell her the news after she'd accomplished her goal?

In the Sailor Moon universe we have the convenient reset button when a character dies in the form of rebirth. Death is not an end, just a new beginning. But even so, I think as parents, King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity would not have the heart to tell their daughter about Helios' death, because it would firstly crush the girl to know another person she loves (i.e. Pluto and Saturn) has died, and secondly it would burden her in the long term, pinning after him yet not knowing when or where Helios would be reborn. I think they would choose for their daughter to grow up happy, and would try to keep her in the dark with the excuse that Elysion is a sacred place that's off limits to her. Pluto would be aware and in on all this, and in my mind she probably saw thing whole thing unfold through the Door of Time, but was unable to interfere. Together with the others, she never revealed the truth to Chibi Usa, even though she knew, just like the king and queen, that their act of kindness would eventually still cause the princess pain. Their sole consolation is the hope that the pain Chibi Usa feels will be short lived, even if the initial shock and sorrow of the revelation would not be dampened by any means.

I really love the depth and thought that goes into your manga, so so much. You go beyond more than just plot devices and tropes, but you have feeling and intense planning sessions and it's just amazing

You're being too kind! ^///^ Honestly, there are moments where I think to myself "this story is so cliched!" But even so, I'm committed to drawing it to its conclusion.

Okay first I was just strolling, thinking, "Oh another one. Well, the other ones were nice lemme look at this one." Then I saw the beautifully and accurately drawn characters, then suddenly the next thing I know I'm now a mangaka-chan fanboy and just read all of the acts. 

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! HONESTLY THERE'S SO MUCH DEPTH IN THIS!! YOU ACTUALLY MANAGED TO CREATE A CONTINUATION THATS CONNECTS THE VARIOUS POINTS OF CANON IN TAKEUCHI'S WORK!!! I LOVE THIS!!!!

Honestly you are just too amazing mangaka-chan! I love the whole new idea of Neo Sailor Moon, and the use of the Crystal Moon Rod (the crystal on top is a striking resemblance to Cosmos <3) and just, everything! From plot, to character development, I honestly just love it! Thank you for this amazing gem! 

My only peeve would be- is that some of Act 3 images in page 4 were broken 

But everything else, amazing! Keep it up! Gosh, if you were ever to be given permission by Takeuchi to print this as a canon manga, then I would definitely buy it!! Honestly you've captured her art so perfectly, and her story telling as well!

*Pokes her head in sheepishly* I haven’t been working on FR much this month because of other projects; these two pages are all I’ve got to show for the past three weeks. Hopefully after this month I’ll be back to my usual pace unless the Sailor Cosmos paper craft project I'm planning side tracks me, which is highly likely.

You might be wondering why Mercury would ask Saturn of all of the senshi to have a go at identifying the energy lingering on the moth. I feel like in the manga Saturn has a pretty strong sense of premonition, both before and after she was reborn fighting Pharaoh 90. In the Infinity arc she shared in the collective dream the girls had about the messiah of silence, and in the Dream arc she could see a vision of Chibi Usa and Pegasus, and could sense the unstoppable advance of the Shadow Galactica and Pluto’s demise in the Stars arc.
