Physical Description: At 5'9", Haruka is taller than most of the women in her country, and is taller than all of her comrades. She strikes an imposing figure, added by her inherent strength and incredible speed. Her pale golden hair is often tousled by the wind and Haruka doesn't bother to fix it because the effect generally makes her look more attractive. Her eyes are a deep teal color, reminiscent of the color of the ocean. Haruka is often seen with a flirty grin, though when she gets angry her eyes seem to pierce and her expression is hard and unforgiving. But there are also times when a warm and caring smile adorns her lips, though only a few certain people are the recipient of such a smile.

Although most people think of her as a woman who likes to wear men's clothing, Haruka doesn't exclusively just wear men's clothing. She wears whatever she wants to at the moment, and doesn't care much how others will perceive her. Sometimes she wants to wear a blazer and tie, and other times she wants to wear a skirt and a flowing blouse. She doesn’t tend to wear long flowing skirts because she feels they hinder her too much, so she wears mostly shorter skirts or pants. She doesn’t wear much make-up and tends to like a more natural look, and she doesn’t tend to wear high heels, but instead likes to wear boots or running shoes.

Personality: Haruka is a strong personality and she has a very strong will that is difficult to bend unless Haruka wants it to. Sometimes she can come off as being unnecessarily harsh, but that’s just because when she believes in something, she does so with all of her heart and soul, and so she doesn’t take any nonsense when dealing with things. However, Haruka is also known to have a much softer side, and she tends to flirt with girls to get a rise out of them. She takes an special interest in Usagi and likes to see her princess blush.

Sometimes Haruka has the tendency to simply not think about things that weigh her down. When she feels like things are getting too much to handle, she likes to simply run as fast as she can, and try to leave all of those worries behind. It is another reason why she loves to drive her cars in illegally fast speeds. Going fast and being surrounded by the rushing wind is much easier than going slow and having to deal with issues that are just too heavy and weigh her down. Although when she does put her mind to it, Haruka has more resolve than anyone, and will not waver. It just sometimes takes her a while to compartmentalize her feelings and understand what she wants to do.

When with her family, Haruka is very warm and dotes on her daughter to the point of spoiling Hotaru. She loves her little family, and spends nearly all of her time with them. She is never far from Michiru, as they are partners in everything, and Haruka loves Michiru with everything she has. They have gone through a lot together and she can't imagine ever being without her. She loves having Michiru by her side, and whenever Michiru is not there, Haruka can feel her absence very strongly.

As a warrior, Haruka can be just as harsh. She doesn't let her emotions get in the way of what she feels is right, and she has a strong belief that sometimes sacrifice is needed to help the greater good. However, her belief in this isn't always as strong, and she can be caught up in the guilt of it all, but that never stops her resolve to go through with it. If it is what she believes to be right, then she will do it, and she will deal with the guilt later. She is used to having Neptune fighting at her side, and they rely on one another as a team that moves as one.

History:(A mix of manga and anime)
During the Silver Millennium, there is not much that is know about Haruka. She was one of the three senshi granted a talisman to protect, and was entrusted to keep Sailor Saturn from awakening, which meant that none of the three talisman holders could meet or else risk awakening Saturn. Uranus was also one of the senshi enlisted to be the first line of defense against any alien attackers who would do harm against her Queen and Princess. She was alone throughout her whole time in the Silver Millennium, and she had to simply believe in the good of her Queen and Princess, since she was never allowed to meet them very often. There was definitely a new brightness to the world that had been previously missing, and so Uranus put her faith in that.

But then the Silver Millennium fell, and Uranus and the others were all reborn to a new world and a new life. Although her childhood is much a secret, it is assumed that Haruka was born into a family of great wealth, and that her prowess in racing has gained her a lot of fame when she was very young.

When Haruka began to have dreams and strange feelings about her destiny, she completely pushed them all away and pretended that they did not exist. There would be nothing to worry about, because they were not there. It didn't matter that she had this horrible feeling that *something* was missing, because what feeling? She was fine. This was when Haruka began to use racing as a way to forget about everything else to an almost unhealthy degree. The dreams did not go away, however, and instead seemed to only get stronger and stronger. So Haruka put all of her energy in the only outlet that helped her clear her mind, which was racecar driving.

Soon after this, Haruka met Michiru. Elsa Gray introduced them to one another, and from the first moment that Haruka set eyes on Michiru, she could strongly feel all of the emotions and dreams come back in full. She reacted badly, because these were things that she had been trying so hard to forget about for a long time now, and it was only made worse as Michiru made a simple statement that Haruka knew was not quite so simple. She refused Michiru's offer to be drawn, and walked away, ignoring the feeling inside her that wanted to stay near the beautiful woman. Michiru kept showing up, but Haruka would keep denying her questions, not willing to admit that what Michiru said was true.

One day before a race was to start, Haruka heard a strange sound. Curious, she went to investigate. She saw a young boy who appeared to be in pain. She wanted to help him and went to approach him, but before she got too close, he was enveloped in a strange light, and then he was changing form into something incredibly large and with massive pointy teeth. Haruka was thrown to the ground from the energy, but before the monster could attack her, a bright light filled the room, and a beautifully decorated stick appeared in front of her. Haruka was stunned by the appearance of it. It was both warm and inviting and she knew that once she touched it, everything would be different.

Before her hands touched the stick, however, a voice told her to stop. The light faded away, and the stick clattered to the floor. It was Michiru who stopped her, and she told Haruka that if she truly did not want to accept her destiny, then it wasn't right to have it forced upon her. And then Michiru held up a stick similar in style as to the one that had just appeared in front of Haruka, and then she called out a phrase. And then, standing in Michiru's place was that of a beautiful senshi. As Neptune began to fight, Haruka reminded her that this monster had originally been a human boy, but Neptune seemed to have known this already. During the fight, she protected Haruka and was hurt instead. A blast from her attack killed off the monster, leaving just the human boy in its place.

After the fight, Haruka held on to the injured senshi, and was stunned to listen as Neptune told her of how she had been watching her throughout the weeks, and that she admired Haruka for being such a strong person. It wasn't true, Haruka knew she was not strong at all, but it still stunned her to know that Michiru admired her for such a thing. When Michiru said that she did not want to force Haruka to share in the burden, Haruka was reminded of the young boy that Michiru had been fighting. What if that boy had not been saved? What if he had been killed during the fight? A part of her still wanted to bulk against all of this responsibility, and against the heavy weight of it all. But something had changed throughout this battle, and she liked holding Michiru so close to herself. Haruka turned her attention onto the fallen henshin stick, and her mind was set.

Together as a new team, the two of them found their new mission which was to find the three pure heart crystals that held the talismans within them. The talismans would bring out the Messiah which would clear the world from all evil. They both knew what this would entail, that to take a talisman from the pure heart crystal would mean that they would have to leave the carrier to die. But they didn't talk about it much. It was a necessity in order to save the world. And talking about it only made the darkness of it more real. They agreed that this was a mission so important that they would not allow theirselves to become distracted by anything else. They both gave up their dreams, and they ignored their rapidly growing feelings for one another, and focused solely on their mission instead.

They soon met the Inner Senshi soon after, and their idealism irked Haruka more than she liked. They were so optimistic about it, and believed that everything would work out. But this wasn't all butterflies and picnics. This was real and bloodied and everything she and Neptune were doing was necessary. Haruka hated the way that it the Inner Senshi did not seem to be taking this seriously enough, and so she refused to work with them. They would only slow her and Michiru down, anyway.

They continued to work away from the Inner Senshi, although sometimes they couldn't stop theirselves from helping the Inners from a tough situation. Haruka knew that she was kidding herself if she didn't admit that she really did like Usagi and her friends. They were sweet and fun to be around, but they're far too sentimental as warriors.

Eventually, Haruka and Michiru were invited to the Marine Cathedral by Eudial. Eudial told them that she had found the ones who had the talismans within theirselves, and the two of them couldn't resist going to see for theirselves, even though they knew that it was a trap of some kind. Right before entering, Uranus and Neptune reminded each other that no matter what happened, they would continue with their mission. They couldn't allow theirselves to get caught up in emotions if something happened to one of them. Once inside, they were attacked by moving slabs of concrete. They were able to dodge the attacks and destroy them with their attacks, but at the last second, a new one appeared and shot straight towards Uranus. But instead of getting hit, Uranus felt herself being thrown out of the way. Turning, she saw Neptune as she was slammed into the wall, then she disappeared.

Uranus felt her heart stop at that moment, and she almost missed the taunting call from Eudial. Michiru was a holder of a talisman? That couldn't be possible. They were both tainted by this mission, and they couldn't possibly have pure hearts. It seemed like another trap, but the thought of leaving Michiru in Eudial's hands was far too much. Uranus ran to where Eudial had called her to. She saw Michiru at the far end of the room, tied up against one of those slabs of concrete. Her heart racing, Haruka ran to her, but from all sides, she was shot at by lots of bullets and she fell to the ground in pain and shock.

It was then that Eudial told her that she was going to have two talismans after this was over. Haruka still didn't really believe her, even when Eudial pointed the gun straight at her chest. Before anything else could happen, however, Michiru was breaking free from her bonds, struggling to get to the two of them. As she moved forward, the same bullets that had originally hit Haruka were now being shot to Michiru. Haruka couldn't move as she watched the woman she loved continue to get up, despite that more and more bullets were attacking her. Haruka pleaded for Michiru to stop, but Michiru was far too stubborn, continuing to struggle until there were no more bullets left. She approached Eudial, trying to take the gun from her, but suddenly the trigger was pulled and the rush of energy passed through Neptune's chest. Haruka's heart stopped again, painfully, as she watched Michiru's beautiful heart crystal transform into a teal mirror. It was a talisman.

Before Eudial could takes Haruka's as well, Usagi rushes in and pushes Eudial down a hole in the floor. Usagi tries her best to stop Haruka from taking out her own heart crystal, but Haruka has set her mind. She doesn't think it's fair that Michiru gets to be off in her own world and leave Haruka behind, alone once again. So she pushes Usagi away from her, tells the young girl that it's up to her to find the third talisman, and then she pulls the trigger.

Uranus woke to find herself standing beside Neptune, the two talismans glowing front of them. Pluto was there too, with her own talisman and Uranus belated realized that they had found all three, and that their mission was now complete. Together the three talismans created the Holy Grail that glowed with such a beautiful brilliance. Eudial attempted to steal the Grail but before she could, Sailor Moon got a hold of it and became Super Sailor Moon. But soon after, her powers diminished and it was obvious that she was not the true messiah who was supposed to use the Grail for good.

Now with a new mission, Uranus and Neptune, along with the new addition of Pluto, began the search for the real messiah, but the mission had to be set aside soon after they realized that Sailor Saturn was beginning to awaken. None of them remembered exactly why Saturn was such a feared senshi, other than the fact that it was up to them to keep her from being awakened fully. Their resolve was strengthened when they realized that a dark and evil power also resided within Hotaru Tomoe. They knew it was not fair to condemn a young girl to death for something that was not her fault, but it was a necessity. They had to rid the world of this horrible darkness or else risk the deaths of every single person in the world as a whole. So despite the pleads from Usagi and Chibiusa and all of the others, the Outers remained determined to not allow Hotaru Tomoe to awaken fully.

At the final battle against Mistress 9 and Pharaoh 90, Uranus and Neptune were caught in the bindings of Mistress 9. Sailor Moon was about to hand the Grail over to Mistress 9 in a display of Sailor Moon's idealist way of thinking, but Uranus and Neptune both pleaded with her to not give it to Mistress 9. It was a stupid idea, and Mistress 9 needed to be killed right away, even if that meant killing Hotaru in the process. But Sailor Moon handed it over anyway, and the enemies became stronger. Luckily, in the end, Hotaru was able to awaken as Sailor Saturn and push away the affects of Mistress 9. She jumped into the Tau Nebula to stop it in its tracks before it did any more damage, and Sailor Moon was able to become Super Sailor Moon without the help of the grail and she jumped in as well. She brought back Hotaru in the form of a newly born baby.

Deciding to right their wrongs of wanting to kill her, Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna all agreed to raise Hotaru theirselves, wanting to give her the best life they could. They also believed that they would be able to help the girl whenever her powers as Sailor Saturn began to awaken once again. Haruka found herself loving being a parent far more than she originally thought she would. She spoils Hotaru and would protect her with everything she has. Together they all lived happily in peace for a little while, away from the duties and destiny that inevitably came calling back to them.

The presence of Galaxia was felt soon after they defeated Nehelenia and her mirror traps. Hotaru began to grow up at a rapid pace, and they could feel that something was changing all around them. Michiru could even sense something through her Mirror. They met the Starlights in battles against the Animates, and soon they found out that they included Seiya, the same person trying to get far too close to their princess. The Outers attempted to keep Seiya away from Usagi, but their threats fell on deaf ears and the two became close friends even after that.

In the final battle against Galaxia, the Outers confronted Galaxia by theirselves, hoping that they could succeed where others had failed. But it soon became apparent that Galaxia was far stronger than they had ever thought possible. She was even able to destroy their weapons with her attacks, leaving them all weakened and powerless against her. It seemed bleak and hopeless, and for a moment, Uranus wanted to admit defeat because what else could be done? But then she saw one last option, a crazy and incredibly dangerous option. But with only one possible thing left that might just work, she had to take the chance and never falter in that decision.

And so she agreed to join Galaxia. Neptune caught on quickly as well, and the two became agents of Galaxia together, as always. Pluto and Saturn were shocked by this, unable to understand at first. It felt wrong to be attacking them, and the bracelets felt heavy on Uranus's wrists, but this was far too important. As Uranus and Neptune fought against Pluto and Saturn, their eyes met and a deep understanding went through all of them. Pluto and Saturn stopped struggling at the last moment and accepted that this was a necessary thing to allow Uranus and Neptune that one crazy chance to possibly hurt Galaxia. Uranus had to look away as half of her family was killed with her own hands.

It was difficult to keep the ruse up. They had to fight against their own princess, but they could never falter, no matter what. This was how they fought and there was no turning back, especially not after having dirtied their hands so much already. They continued with the ruse and waited for the perfect chance to strike.

When that chance finally came, it was all for nothing. The bracelets struck true, but Galaxia had no starseed at all, and the attack was only a minor annoyance to her and did not hurt her in the slightest. Galaxia took the bracelets back from both Uranus and Neptune, and since it was the only thing that was keeping them alive anymore, they began to fade away. Uranus didn't want to get caught up in the feelings of failure and guilt, and instead focused on the one shining part still in her world: Michiru. They faded away, together as in all things.

It was shocking to wake once more. Standing in front of her Princess in a circle with all of the other senshi, Haruka couldn't believe that she was alive. She had thought herself to be sent into the darkest pits of hell and here she was in a beautiful and warm light that only her princess could ever create. And Michiru was there too, and it was all overwhelming. Usagi had defeated Galaxia and Chaos and brought everyone back to life, allowing everyone a chance to continue their lives together. It was obvious that eventually Chaos would return to the world, because with light there must be darkness, but they all hoped that it would not be for a long time. haruka hoped for some free time to just spend with her family, growing closer with all of them with each passing day. Together with Michiru and Setsuna, Haruka continues to raise Hotaru in a small little family, happy and at peace. For now.





Senshi Name: Sailor Uranus, Senshi of the Skies and Flight
Senshi Fuku: Uranus’s main colors are gold and deep blue. Her skirt and sash are both the same deep blue color, but her bows differ in color. Her front one is gold, while the back is deep blue, while the circular pendant in the middle of the front bow is blue. Her gloves are shorter than the Guardian Senshi's, and only come up halfway to her forearm and end in three lines of deep blue piping. A golden hoops adorns her ears, and a blue choker is around her throat, and her boots are larger at the tops but tightly bound with thick straps. They are thin high-heels but they do not cause her any problems when running or fighting.

Powers:
World Shaking!: An offensive attack, this is the attack that Uranus tends to rely on more than all the others. It is a quick attack, and sometimes she uses it to meld together with the main attacks of both Michiru and Pluto. She raises her fist up into the air, and creates a yellow ball of energy that she slams into the ground and sents it straight towards her intended target.
Space Sword Blaster!: An offensive attack, Uranus uses her sword to create a sharp current of energy that is sent forward towards her enemy. This attack can sometimes even kill the intended enemy.
Space Turbulence: An offensive attack, it is Uranus's strongest attack. She raises her hands and creates a huge amount of energy that is shot off towards the target in rays of energy.
Weapons or Magical Items:
Space Sword: This is Uranus's talisman, and a weapon she often uses during fights. It is contained within a silver sheath embedded with jewels. The handle is golden, and when Uranus pulls it from the sheath, the blade is pure red energy. The weapon also is part of the three talismans used to summon Sailor Saturn, but Uranus more often uses it in battle.
Uranus Crystal: The name of Sailor Uranus's starseed.

She was absolutely beautiful.

Haruka didn't want to, but she could not keep her eyes from staring straight at Michiru. Her hair fell in teal waves past her shoulders, and her dress was pure white and lacy. It accentuated her curves in all the right ways, but it was her closed eyes that caught most of Haruka's attention. There was a serene expression on Michiru's face that she was not used to seeing. Generally their only interactions were when Michiru was trying to get Haruka to admit that she felt the destiny pulling at the both of them. Michiru's beautiful blue eyes were hard and pleading during these conversations.

Haruka wondered what Michiru's eyes would look like when she was more calm and happy. She guessed that the woman would be even more stunning than usual.

Dammit, she didn't even like Michiru. Not really. The girl was pushy and kept finding her at random times, reminding her again and again of dreams that she did not want to acknowledge.

But there was that feeling, deep inside of her, that wanted to listen to every word Michiru spoke. A part of her knew that there was undeniable truth in those words, but another stronger part of Haruka was afraid of those truths. Those dreams were nightmares and why did she have to have all of this weighing down on her when all she wanted to do was run far away from all of it?

And yet, here she was in the lounge, listening to a beautiful violin melody, staring at an even more beautiful woman who made Haruka's heart twinge every time she looked at her. But it was not good to get involved with Michiru. There was only darkness ahead on that path.

Wasn't there?

Haruka wanted to doubt it. Michiru was the one from her dreams, there was no doubting that, but did that actually mean something bad? Despite all of the death and destruction in those dreams, Michiru always represented a warmth that drew her in. How could that be bad?

Haruka frowned to herself and decided that she had had enough of all of this. Her head was beginning to hurt and she was tired of tearing herself up about all of this. This was exactly why she tried to avoid Michiru whenever she could.

Haruka stood up from her table and with one last glance back at Michiru, she left the lounge. The violin music continued to echo behind her, as if it were trying to call her back into the room.

As if it were trying to call her back to Michiru.

But Haruka ignored it, just as she ignored the pain in her chest as she continued to walk away.

Verdi very nice over all. I love the level of detail you put into this. If I remember right wasn't Haruka born in Tokyo, Japan? I would try to find out or make something up. Just for in case you want to add it Haruka is 5'9" tall, but you did really well describing her height. She is the tallest of the group or so the wiki and stuff says. Over all really good Verdi, I love it!

Thanks! I changed the wording of her height a little, and added in Tokyo, Japan, as her birthplace. I couldn't find any definitive answers, but I think it's probably the most likely place!

Since I currently have 3 or so RPs where I want to play Haruka, I am hoping that this will be good enough for a general profile! xD
