Hello and welcome to the first contest for the Galaxy Cauldron RPG! The contest will be to design a storyline specifically for either the Silver Millennium Forum, the Tokyo City Forum, or the Crystal Tokyo Forum. The winning storyline will be selected by the Galaxy Cauldron community via a poll. The winning storyline will receive an advertisement graphic and a special feature in the "Featured RolePlay" section on the main page.

Yes, any of the GC staff, including those of the RPG, are allowed to enter. Yes, you may send more than one storyline. However, please do not send more than two story lines.

Anyone can send a storyline idea for the contest, even if you are not currently actively involved with the GC RPG. It also doesn't matter if you have never submitted a storyline idea before. Sailor Saturn and I are willing to help anyone through the process.

Yup, please make sure that the storyline can be placed into the Crystal Tokyo Forum, the Silver Millennium Forum, or the Tokyo City Forum.

As a side-note, the rules for the RPG has been changed. You can use otaku characters in the three forum areas mentioned above. However, we prefer that the number of otaku characters be limited. Please read the RPG Rules for more information concerning the change.

Name of the Storyline: The Dark Side of the Mirror
Forum: Tokyo City
Plot Summary:
Queen Nehelenia is not happy with the progress of finding
the Golden Mirror. One night she sends out a special spy to find out the true
identities of the Sailor Soldiers. The spy then eventually discovers that Sailor
Chibi Moon, Chibiusa has been talking to Pegasus. This new found information
allows the queen figure out that Chibiusa is the owner of the Golden Mirror. Her
new goal is to capture Chibusa, but she knows if she kidnaps her that the other
Sailor Soldiers will try rescue Chibiusa. So within her mirror world she creates
a doppelganger of Sailor Moon. The doppelganger's mission is to replace
Sailor Moon and take out her friends.
Details on any necessary information:The storyline follows the events in the anime. It takes
place right after the Amazon Quartet make their appearance. Thus the storyline
will replace the events from the second half of the anime. The senshi in the end
will defeat Queen Nehelenia. The Dream Arc elements from the manga
may be
feature in the storyline. For example the Outers can come to help the inners. As
for the Otaku characters only two otaku villians should be made for Usgai's
doppelganger and Queen Nehelenia's spy. Players who choose these characters have
free range on their profile. Only one canon villain be needed which is Queen
Nehelenia. The Amazon Quartet canbe NPC since they do not play a major role. NO
Otaku senshi.

Name of the Storyline:
Metamorphosis
Forum: Crystal Tokyo
Plot Summary: In the battle against the Black Moon Clan, Neo-Queen Serenity
has been killed. There was no crystal encasing to save her from the attack and
she took the full brunt of it before any of her guardians could protect her.

Now, the senshi must deal with the repercussions of no longer having the
light in their life. How will this affect their friendships, their daily lives?
How can they keep up the fight with guilt pulling at them with every turn?

And the threat of the Black Moon is growing stronger everyday, and
without Neo-Queen Serenity to help in the fight, and most of Crystal Tokyo
either destroyed or occupied, how will the remaining senshi keep them from
taking over completely?

But never forget: starseeds are always reborn to live again...

I would like for this to be a darker kind of RP. Mostly with inner turmoil for the senshi as they try to continue protecting the world their princess loved, but what's the point without Usagi? Each character would have their own coping mechanisms and ways of dealing with the darkness around them all. I think it would be fun to explore this, while still having the outlying threat of the Black Moon Clan that forces the girls to continue doing their duty.

Since Usagi is no longer around to fight, the Black Moon Clan has grown stronger and they have destroyed or taken over nearly all of Crystal Tokyo at this point. The only place that is safe is the palace itself, and even that is taking heavy damage and could fall at any moment.

There would be civilians hiding away in the castle as well, but the main focus would be the senshi and Endymion and Chibiusa and how they cope with everything that is happening.

Originally, I was thinking of this being a sort of “the coming of Cosmos” idea, so that towards the end of the RP,
when everything seems at its bleakest and worst, Cosmos arrives in her white brilliance and helps the fight. The senshi would then realize that this is Usagi, but she has been reborn, so she is more mature and her hair is whiter. But at her core, she is still the same Usagi.

The RP would end once the senshi and Cosmos defeat the Black Moon Clan.

No otaku senshi would be needed for this RP (although we could perhaps have people playing civilians if they wanted) and I think it'd be best if it focused on just the Inner Senshi and the royal family specifically. This means no Outer Senshi, as they were not in the original Black Moon Clan attack, so I don't think they should be in this version. There will be no time travel in this version of the attack, so Pluto won't be around either. I imagine the Outers are at their own castles, keeping even more of the Black Moon Clan enemies from getting past them, blaming theirselves for not stopping it in the first place.

The person who decides to play Usagi/Cosmos can choose to play a different character as well, if they wish, since Usagi/Cosmos won't be around much until the very end of the RP.

Name of the Storyline: Stellar Tango

Plot Summary:
Princess Kakyuu had always harbored a secret love for fantasy stories; she was
fascinated with the idea of dragons and knights, of magical springs and epic
quests, and, most of all, of wishes that came true. While she studied and
trained to be the ruler of Kinmoku - to be Kakyuu, the beloved Princess named
for their planet’s brilliant red star – she diligently learned the arts of both
politics and flower arrangement, history and subtle manipulation, of psychology
and oration and etiquette, she, too, studied the mythology of the stars and the
secrets the heavens held.

At age 8 she finally met her three guardians –
the Sailor Starlights, three girls whose guardian stars had no planets of their
own to protect and so protected Kinmoku – and was instantly fascinated with each
of them: Taiki, so intelligent, curious, and warm, who always had an idea to
keep them all entertained when they found a spare moment away from classes;
Yaten, sweet yet sassy, a girl who said whatever she wanted to and was never
sorry; and Seiya, who was filled with such confidence and self-assuredness she
reminded Kakyuu of the knights in her storybooks. The four of them were
inseparable, tied together through love of one another rather than their
statuses.

As Kakyuu grew she herself awakened as a senshi, but not as
Sailor Kinmoku; as Sailor Kakyuu, the giant red star that gave life to their
planet. Surprised and overjoyed, Kakyuu took her place among the Sailor
Starlights and took up her own wand to fight against the agents of chaos that
periodically invaded their home. Through battles that spanned between systems,
Kakyuu came in contact with other senshi in their stellar neighbourhood – with
Sailor Coronid, Sailor Corvus, Sailor Crater, and each had their stories to
tell, stories Kakyuu drank in readily, as the tough battles against Chaos and
his incarnations had left her spirit wanting, dreaming of her innocence before
she became a senshi. Through them she and the Starlights learned of the Galaxy
Cauldron, the Celestial Garter, the Stellar Spectroscope, and of Sailor Moon,
the strongest of all senshi, who, with her team of beautiful sailor warriors,
had defeated chaos in many forms and had come out brighter than before, her star
unmarred by Chaos’s shadows. They said Sailor Moon could make miracles happen,
and Kakyuu, fascinated still with wishes and dreams, wondered if wishing on the
star Sol would grant her first, true wish: to one day meet Sailor Moon and fight
alongside her.

Dreams of her wish faded as years passed and she met
Aerolite, a man of honesty who captured her heart with his poetry and charm, a
man whom her parents favored, her advisors approved of, and, most importantly,
whom the Starlights liked and accepted. But as their wedding was being planned,
a great evil gathered and moved throughout the galaxy, marching ever closer to
Kinmoku…

Details on any necessary information:
This would be the
story of how Kinmoku fell; the set-up of the star systems is how I’d explain and
incorporate the differences in the Starlights and Sailor Kakyuu’s senshi
uniforms. That the Starlights match and Kakyuu doesn’t could mean that the
Starlights are from their own system – a tertiary star system with no planets of
its own – that had adopted the Kakyuu/Kinmoku system and acted as guardians.
Kakyuu I made as the Princess of Kinmoku and the guardian of the star Kakyuu to
explain why her senshi title is different from her planetary title. Kakyuu is a
red giant because Kakyuu means “fireball”, which is actually another name for a
shooting star, (as is “Aerolite”).

As this would happen in the Tokyo City
forum (since it’s pre-Stars), the number of otaku characters would be limited,
so really only Kakyuu, Star Fighter, Healer, and Maker would be fully available,
with the possibility of Aerolite or a visiting senshi thrown into the mix. The
character of “Sailor Kinmoku” is completely unavailable – since in canon it
wasn’t suggested that they had lost a member to Galaxia, we’ll assume she
doesn’t exist, or perhaps place the Kinmoku crystal as dormant and within
Aerolite.

Villains for the story would be the Sailor Animates; however
many as would be necessary to quell a system with 4 sailor guardians on duty.

Name of the Storyline: Crystal Tokyo's 10th Anniversary Ball

Plot Summary: Crystal Tokyo has finally reach it's 10th anniversary. 10 years ago, Crystal Tokyo was built and now it is time to celebrate! Chibiusa, Luna, Artemis, and Diana have all been working diligently on turning the royal ballroom on the moon into a snazzy silver and crystal party. On the eve of the anniversary the party begins! The theme of the
party is Silver and Crystal. Any garment or accessory with silver or crystal is required. The twist to this party is that Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion are clueless! It's a surprise party to celebrate 10 years of peace.

Details on any necessary information:

This storyline is very informal and the characters should interact like they did before. This plot doesn't really have any villains because it's laid back, but villains are allowed to crash the party and wreak some havoc, but nothing too detrimental. Also Otaku senshi are allowed and Crossover characters are not. Any living senshi may attend the party. Also Diana, Luna, and Artemis are in their human forms.

You do not have to be a member of the RPG in order to vote for your favorite storyline. Anyone and everyone can vote for his or her favorite storyline!
