Physical Description:
Princess Serenity is the splitting image of her beautiful mother. She has pale, soft skin, radiant from the light of the moon. Her silver hair reaches far past her waistline and is split into two ponytails on either side of her head. Atop each ponytail is a bun, or knot of hair, decorated with luminous white flowers whine shine a silvery-blue shade. She has pearl barrettes above her bangs that cradle the moon symbol on her forehead. Her stunning blue eyes are bright and big, for she is always daydreaming or wondering about life beyond that of the Moon Kingdom. Her rosy pink lips match that of the shade of pink on her cheeks, which gives her an overall gorgeous appeal.

Though she is not very tall, Serenity makes up a bit for it in her white heels and her perfect posture. She wears a white satin gown that flows when she walks, making it appear as if she's just floating along. Over the satin is a silky mesh material. The top edge of her gown has decorative circles followed by a string of pearls and lace. The sleeves are ornately done like a cross between the top of an Ionic and Corinthian type column.

Personality:
Born royal and privileged at birth, Princess Serenity has always been a bit enthusiastic. She knows she can often be the center of attention, being the only daughter and child of Queen Serenity, and knows how to put on a good act when mingling with others in the high society. She is fun-loving and carefree without much worries in life. Her favorite thing about a ball is the feast.

Princess Serenity has not always been the best student, but she passes by with a decent stride in what she has to accomplish. Having only the best instructors by her mother's wishes, Princess Serenity gets the top most education anyone could ever wish for. A lot of the time her teachers must snap her away from her daydreams and trivial problems in order for her to focus on her work, but it has never stopped her from passing completely. From time to time, Princess Serenity will accompany her mother to royal court events. Though she has no opinion or say in anything, she is there to see how things take place and learn how she will have to think in order to be ruler someday. It takes everything in her to stay awake and be alert.

History:
Born to a pair of royals, Princess Serenity came into the arms of the Moon and its inhabitants ready and raring to go. Her first words were 'mama', 'papa', and 'odango'. Though, the happy family of three was shortlived by the passing of her father. Princess Serenity was then entrusted to Luna, one of the guardians while Queen Serenity took time to grieve and rule the kingdom. Luna became that of a second motherly figure to Princess Serenity. Even though her real mother was away a lot during her childhood, she would throw lavish and extravagant parties for her birthday, and always have a special birthday surprise and kiss for her darling daughter.

Princess Serenity grew up to be a beautiful person like her mother, but also with a fun-loving and somewhat wild streak. Her head was up in the clouds about fifty perfect of the time and she loved to laugh. She tried hard, however, to follow suit and be as great a woman as her mother was, especially since everyone looked up to her as the ruler of the kingdom. Yet, there was no denying that Princess Serenity still had a lot of years ahead of her to master the art of being a diplomatic leader.

Aside from all the glitz and glamour of being somebody, Princess Serenity is extremely fascinated by that of which she is not. Time after time again, people will find her either on te balcony of the palace or from the window in her room, gazing out into the sky and looking down upon Earth. She loves Earth, and there's no places she'd rather visit for a day out. There is one person in particular in which she has an interest in - the Earth Kingdom's prince, Prince Endymion. Often times Princess Serenity will run off and meet Prince Endymion in secret, since it is forbidden for meetings to happen between them.

The sky was dark as the stars shone like glimmering diamonds around her. Princess Serenity stood on the balcony on the east wing of the palace which looked over the planet Earth. She sighed, her head propped up on her hands and elbows, gazing dreamily into space. It was such a lovely planet, all the blues from the waters and greens from the grassland and forest. Why wasn't there much grass on the moon? Princess Serenity always found herself comparing her world against theirs. If she could, she would move to the planet faster than the speed of sound. Yet, she couldn't just up and abandon her friends, mother and most importantly, her duties.

Another sigh left the girl's mouth, only this time it was out of contempt. She was not cut out to be part of the royal court. She laughed a lot, ate far too much... why she had put a little on around her waist when she was last fitted for one of her dresses! Mother was not most pleased about that. It wasn't as if her mother expected her to be stick thin, but she did expect her to be more serious about what she did. Even Luna was on her about taking her role as Princess to heart. It wasn't as if she didn't love the Moon Kingdom and what it stood for. It was just... it was just that there had to be more out there, hadn't there?

Princess Serenity's thought was abruptly stopped by the sound of the clock, signaling that it was time for dinner.
