So has anyone heard of in game challenges for pokemon? I know about the Nuzlocke challenge where if your pokemon faints then it's consider dead. I really want to do some, but I can't find a good site with a huge variety of challenges. So does anyone know any good sites to look at it?

I did thought of one myself. For the gen 4 games you can only catch gen 4 types. There's exception to Budew because his chain of evolution has a gen 3 in it, but his final form is 4 gen.

Also would anyone would like to do some challenges with me? I can't do anything with gen 5 right now because I have some pokemon on my file that I can't rid of yet.

A lot people on the web like to make challenges up to make the games harder. Like there's a challenge where you can only use one type of Pokemon throughout the game or only use one pokemon throughout the whole game.

I'm currently doing a Red Nuzlocke Challenge. ^^
So far I'm doing well. Here are my set of rules:

1) Pokemon fainting = Dead.
2) Catching only one Pok/Road (exception for shinies, but there is no shinies in this game)
3) Not allowed to use "Fly".
4) Not allowed to catch legendaries.
5) Not allowed to fish.
6) Not allowed to have twice the same pok'
7) Not allowed to use repels.
The badges must me obtained in order. (Can't get the volcano badge before Saffron City.)
9) In case of blackout, the last pokemon used "survive".
10) Must battle every trainers in gym before going to the leader.
11) Name the rival something else than "Assbutt". (named mine Daniel.)
12) Must nickname every pokemon caught.
13) Trades aren't allowed before Sabrina's badge is obtained. And may only be used for evolution purposes.
14) Not allowed to buy pokemons from the casino.
15) Pokemons that complete the league challenge may be granted an "extra life". If anybody died during the Elite 4 / Rival battle, they can be used again but without this advantage.
16) Once the challenge completed (Champion, Mewtwo and legendary birds beaten) the pokemons I caught can be used in my next Nuzlocke --> Silver.) But won't be able to learn any Johto-exclusive moves.

At this point of the game, I just beat Blaine.

My team so far (I somehow managed to get ALL the pokemons I always loved):
Draco / Charizard - My starter. Also my cut slave.
Mako / Machamp - So far the one I love wasting my rare candies on. I named him this way because of Machamp's french name (Mackogneur).
Spec / Gengar - My "weetle favourite" if I may say. I named him after Haunter's french name - Spectrum. But he evolved since.
David / Alakazam - Not sure why I named him this. I felt extremely lucky I caught him before he teleported away \o/
Théodore / Nidoking - Took the first name I though of. Strenght slave but also a heck of a convenient fighter, especially against Ice type (Watch out, Lorelei.)
Marty / Tentacruel - My surf slave :B Can the word "slave" really be used if I use them in battle, BTW?

I also have an awesome Vileplume and an Arcanine but my team doesn't have enought slots. OTL

I should try a one-type-only challenge some days...

(Vileplume! I love Oddish and all of his evolutions <3)

This sounds neat xD I never really thought about challenging myself while playing Pokemon. I will have to go searching, it seems like a fun idea :3

Wow Mayo some of your rules I already do! I never really fish and I usually don't buy pokemon at the casinio. I rarely use repels.

So do you guys want to make up a challenge? I won't do if a pokemon faints they're dead thing.

It could be fun to come up with rules for our own challenge xD I am in!
