I am always complaining that I want to color my own pictures but can never draw things properly, so I've decided to just keep practicing instead of complaining xD And since I treat this place as a kind of artsy-journal-keeper, I shall post some here! I am currently working on coloring this, though it's taking me a really long time because I keep changing the lineart and changing color ideas and things. It's no where near perfect, but I still am pretty proud with it. I hope to share the completed work sometime soon!

I have another update! Really happy with this. It was originally inspired by a pose found on here: Link And also because I did a silhouette thing as part of a different piece I am working on, and I thought it was a lot of fun, so I wanted to do a picture dedicated just to that silhouette thing xD I might do the others sometimes, I dunno haha

I've actually updated the last picture a little bit because I decided I wasn't 100% happy with it, so I changed the shape of the blade and the colors a little, as well as the effects a bit. I am much much happier!!! :3 So yay!!! I want to do the other senshi in this style now (thanks to encouragement from the lovely Tsuki <3) though I'm not sure who to do next yet xD We shall see!

A little update ^^

My entry for the Romance artist contest, I was really happy with how it came out! :3 This is actually my favorite MamoUsa panel in the manga, so I had to color it when I saw the option haha


Part one of the character studies that I've decided to start doing. I'll take some of the pictures in the artbooks and try to redraw them to learn some new techniques and practice other styles! Pretty happy with how it came out, it helped me to learn about some of the movement of hair in a different ways, and I learned a different kind of coloring that was fun to try out! I'll be doing more of these very soon!

I still have like 4 other things in progress, so I hope to be able to share those finished ones sometime soon!

Another little update ^^;; This was fun to color, and it's one of my favorite panels of Ami <3

She looks so cute! That'd make a really fun bookmark too.

Also, I love that Sailor V drawing. It reminds me technically so much of the Rei sketch you did earlier, I just love that style. I can't wait to see more of your pretty drawings/sketches, as much as I love your more elaborate works.

Got myself a scanner after a long time of pining for one =] So here is my most recent picture I've drawn. I'm really proud of it, and it is heavily inspired by Michael Turner, a comic book artist that inspires me with every picture I see of his I used one of his pictures as reference as I drew this, though I can't seem to find a good link for it at the moment. =[



I'll add more traditional things sometime soon. Drawing on a tablet and on paper are such different feelings It's so much fun!
