Okay, here is my latest and finally FINALLY finished artwork. Been working on it forever, and it's something I've wanted to do for a long time, ever since seeing the finale of PGSM.

I've been sketching small things a lot recently so thought I'd share a few xD






And here is a traditionally done ACEO card I tried xD Never done them before, so it was a fun thing to try. It was done with ink and colored pencils on watercolor paper. I want to try more with other types of methods and tools. <3

Another update!

Firstly is the picture of Saturn's Sailor Splash that I drew for the newsletter. I was very happy with how it came out xD It's under a spoiler because it's really big!

Next is a silly little picture of Usagi. I was trying out a different kind of style really xD



This one is from a WIP piece that I am working on. It will be fun, though dark xD



This was originally just going to be a simple sketch, but then I ended up coloring it, and found a different style of coloring that was quite fun. I'm going to have to try it out on other pictures! I've also decided to use this picture as a new avatar, yay xD



And lastly, a little preview of something I'm really happy with so far xD I am working on practicing different body types and more interesting poses, and now I have a silly picture of Mako and Minako in the works haha =P I hope I can finish it within these next few days! (once Minako stops giving me problems >.>; ) I am really excited by how Makoto looks though!!! <3

A sketchy thing I did for a palette meme/challenge on Tumblr (Drawing older!Chibiusa is something I really enjoy hehe)


A sketchy style-test. I want to someday create a comic of a what-if variety for Sailor Moon, but I need to get better and more consistent at drawing before I delve into that. This was an experiment I did with that all in mind (I feel I kind of gave up once I got to her legs haha) xD



And finally, I was part of the Sailor Moon Crystal Countdown collaboration on Tumblr, and I signed up to draw Queen Beryl! Here's the except I wrote to explain it:

I wanted to show Beryl changing to the dark Queen. She doesn’t care that the orb shows her eyes eery and white, or that her hair is red and her skin has a green tint. She wants the crown that the orb promises, and that’s all she can see.



Pretty happy with it, all in all! I need to get better though xD Practice practice and mooore practice!

Your Beryl depiction is truly stunning. Did you draw it digitally? If so, with what program?

That was YOU? I saw that on tumblr a while back! I didn't realize that was you that did it, Verdi! WOW. I think that is one of your best works yet. That is really beautiful and well executed. good job!

Ahh thank you, lovies! I am really proud of that Beryl one, it took so much time and effort hehe I was stressing a lot about finishing it in time for the countdown, too   

And yes, Mercury! I did all of it digitally using a program called PaintTool Sai (I really love this program. I've tried out a bunch and this is the one that really feels like it meshes really well with me xD) Though I did add the text with GIMP as Sai has no really editor capability like that.

Ive been considering Paint Tool Sai for coloring. Also my fiance downloaded Corel Painter and that seems really neat too.. Im just so used to Photoshop, i'm a little scared to switch (plus i've hardly had time to do any artsy things lately D:)

A little update!

This was the Fuku Redesign I did for the Double Moon Birthday! I love the idea of Chibiusa getting her own fuku design separate from her mama, so this was a lot of fun to brainstorm. I ran out of time to properly color it, and it's a little messy, so I plan to come back to this idea at some point and fully expand upon it.



This one is just a little doodle of my Otaku senshi Sailor Titan, though she's in her civilian form in this picture. I haven't RP'd with her yet and already I love her to bits. I look forward to drawing her even more xD



And finally, I have a manga coloring! This was requested from dearest and most patient Sailor Mercury who was kind enough to put up with my slowness haha xD <3 Regardless of how long it took, I'm very happy with the result!
