All of those books look interesting to me! So I have not much of an opinion. XD

i love Wicked! disturbing book,but i love it for some god unknown reason. but is it pg 13?

I don't know if I have enough time *sob* but I'd love read those books^^. Maybe when I have more time ^^

To make it easy...why don't we have a poll?

Snow White and Wicked stand out a good bit to me; though the Titanic one does have historic relevance.

Though, it might be difficult for everyone to agree - What if each person nominated a book, the books put into a poll, the nwhoever's turn it is to choose, chooses from the top three? Unless that's too complicated, but its a suggestion.

Peony in Love by Lisa See (Teen Rating)

Or I could be a complete nerd and choose this one. Historically relevant, because the 100-year anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic just happened this year.

Titanic's Last Secrets by Brad Matsen

Or I could fan-girl over Broadway and choose this one (I'm a huge fan of history and anthropology books.)

Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire (Teen Rating, maybe higher)

Or something you can likely find for free (i.e. a classic)
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

I just wanted to mention, I haven't read Wicked in a really long time, but I think at minimum it is rated Teen and should likely be considered a fantasy novel meant for adults. If I remember correctly, it is not as tame as the musical and mentions topics of a sexual nature. Also, Peony in Love is also likely rated Teen, which includes the consequences of love and marriage along with mention of death and the afterlife.

Titanic's Last Secrets and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland should be fine, although the last one has some drug references and just really plain weirdness and of course a book called Titanic's Last Secrets is going to touch on the topic of death.

If that affects your choice, you should be able to cancel and change your vote by clicking on "cancel vote" in the left hand corner underneath the poll.

I read Wicked back about 8 years ago. I remember getting to the end and how much it saddened me. I would prefer to not re-read it.

I was thinking the same thing. Should we close the poll before the end of the month? That way we can have time to obtain or purchase the book.
