| I thought this would be a really neat idea, especially come the end of this year. Basically, the idea is to record each book that you have completed during the year of 2012. The books could have been read for school or for pleasure, but you must have finished reading the entire book (excluding notes and bibliographies). Note the name of the book and the author in list form. Update your original post in this thread each time you finish a book.
Let's see how big our reading lists are by the end of this year. ^.^

| This far into 2012 I haven't actually read too much. I really need to make a run to the bookstore again.
Currently Reading: Sherlock Holmes: A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle The Stand by Stephen King
Finished Reading: Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegas by Nicholas Pileggi The Dead Town by Dean Koontz (book four of his Frankenstein series) Beyond the Poseidon Adventure by Paul Gallico Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice (for the 15th time xD) Doctor Who: Beautiful Chaos by Gary Russell (awesome story but took 3/4 of the book to set up the plot) To Selena, With Love by Chris Perez Under the Dome by Stephen King Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden (again!) Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James (why?) Fifty Shades Darker by E.L. James (WHY?) Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James (WHY!?!)
On Hold: Doctor Who: The Forgotten Army by Brian Minchin (I've had this on hold since Summer '11.) The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson The Empire of Wolves by Jean-Christophe Grange
Dropped: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage by Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown (I didn't pay for this one lol)
I need some good books to read guys. I'm sorta weary on the popular best seller things. Last time I picked one up it was Shanghai Girls and I was very disappointed with it. Actually, now that I think about it that happens a lot. Some of them are very plainly written and too easy.

| I love Lise See's books, but Shanghai Girls disappointed me, too. I'd suggest Peony in Love or Snowflower and the Secret fan, if you wanted to try that author again. |

| I don't have a good enough memory for this. I do remember finishing The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest and writing an angry review of it on Amazon.com because of the obviously ignorant opinion of mental illness that Steig Larson had. |

For 2012 I finished:
