I'm glad that you like it here! I find people to be so friendly and we have a grand mix of topics -- both serious and nonsensical! I like the mixture of the two. You do not have to feel that you have to be serious all the time or that you will be considered immature if you get giddy over a topic. ^^ It is so easy to be both when it comes to Sailor Moon (I think so, at least!).

I really appreciate your translating skills! Did you study japanese or did you teach yourself?

I've been studying Japanese for a little under 10 years now. I started taking it in high school, and continued with it through college. I studied abroad for a year in Tokyo, did the JLPT level 2, and the rest of that kind of schooling stuff. But truth be told, I didn't really get -decent- at it until I worked at a bank for a stint doing customer service in Japanese. After that, I worked as a teacher's assistant and then as a private tutor in Japanese. Now I work full-time as a bilingual site manager for a semi-conductor corporation.

It's been quite a journey, and even though my Japanese still isn't perfect, I think studying it is going to be a life-long hobby for me. Of course, like anybody else I make mistakes, especially when it comes to reading kanji haha.

Annnnyway. I am totally impressed by the graphics here, holy crap. You guys are amazing! This place looks so well put together. I'm so envious of everyone's icons and signatures too, haha. This really is a wonderful forum, I'm glad to be here!

@Ai-no-Hana: Funny you should ask! I'm forcing myself to translate the last three chapters of Sailor V today. At this point, it's really up to the graphical designers to get the rest of it online since I have up to chapter 13 completely translated. Probably tomorrow we'll get Chapter 5 up, but as terrible as it is to say it I don't know for sure! LOL. Gosh I'm a terrible webmistress.

I could fangirl over Miss Dream but it wouldn't be anything that hasn't been said already xD Glad to see you here!
