☆ Hello everyone! ☆

My name is Sephazon, and I’m relatively new to the Sailor Moon fandom. I currently live in Tokyo and have gotten more into the series out here as I live near Toei Animation and am involved in Harajuku fashion. Many of my fashion friends are into Sailor Moon, including a close friend who works with the official Sailor Moon store in Harajuku, so I got more into it as well! I greatly enjoy the artwork and personalities of the characters.

As for myself, I’m a journalist in the gaming industry with a background in history and public speaking. I was previously a YouTuber before becoming a third party contractor with The Pokémon Company International. In 2016, I was hired by Nintendo before Miiverse was discontinued. I’ve also worked on many Nintendo centric projects from the official Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions to the Metroid fan-game, AM2R.

I studied world history with a focus on western history in university. I studied history and philosophy of law as well. Recently, I’ve been studying Japanese history and marketing. There’s a lot of cool things in the world that many people would enjoy discovering.

I moved out to Tokyo in June if last year to study Japanese and marketing. I’m originally from the United States. At the risk of an uncreative answer, my favorite sailor senshi is Usagi.

I've been reading the original manga print recently as well as watching Sailor Moon Crystal. I'm a huge fan of the style of artwork from the 90s.

That sounds really cool. Though, time zones may preclude me from joining, I appreciate the information. xD

Sounds cool and must have been a lot of work! I haven't done much in the way of personal research into mythology, but I did study world mythology in university. I usually stick to reading autobiographies and biographies. XP

Thank you for welcoming me! Haha, I unfortunately no longer work for Nintendo as I'm studying Japanese and marketing in Tokyo. I will, however, return someday to work in localization and marketing. Personally, I'd enjoy seeing Isaac playable in Super Smash Bros. I hope you have had the opportunity to enjoy the Switch!

Also I saw you're fav senshi is Usagi, join the club! She's usually my top fav or Chibiusa. Though I always have a hard time ranking them cause I really love them all. <3

Out of curiosity, how have your friends been responding to the influx of tourism to Harajuku? Have they lived there long enough to notice? I'd love to see a snap of a style you've tried ^_~! The scene and looks are quite different now from when I was keeping up with it from afar, almost 10 years ago.

One other thing I always like to point out is this batch of tutorials. It has helped me out countless times in posting around here - especially when I was just new! There's also a great tutorial here about using drafts which I wish I had've discovered much earlier than I did XD. Sadly you can't use them for new posts. (I recommend an external word processor or text pad instead - especially if you're on mobile since sometimes the page will reload if you open another app.)

Otherwise, I hope to see you around the Sailor Moon Boards ^_~.

My friends have mostly viewed the influx of tourists in Harajuku as rather unfavorable. We often have to handle tourists taking unwanted photos of us, nearly always without asking. Furthermore, we're often treated as tourist attractions instead of actual people. It's rather troublesome. Personally, I wear sailor designs in kawaii boy, kawaii punk and lolita fashion.

I have a few ideas for topics I'd like to post in the community, but I'm figuring out the best way to go about it to begin. I appreciate the advice and direction. I look forward to seeing you around the community.

Welcome to the forums, Sephazon! I saw pokemon symphonic evolutions back when it was in my area and loved it to pieces! What kind of work did you do on it? It's amazing all the things you've accomplished! Do you still work for the pokemon company-did they give their employees any special goodies or discounts?

That's fantastic to hear! We greatly appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed the show! I worked on marketing and social media for the project. If you ever saw preview demos on YouTube channels, I organized and oversaw that as well. I'd love to get you something on behalf of the team sometime! When I was watching SM growing up, I always related the most to her. Clumsy, loves video games, lazy but also a good friend and a loving heart. As I've seen different versions of her character, which all keep her core personality traits and loving heart, I've enjoyed getting to see her grow and deal with her life as a super heroine. I love her 90s personality a lot, though its often exaggerated for comedic purposes. She's innocent and goofy but gets serious when needs to be. She's just great. <3

Ah that's tough. I don't know what it is that causes people to not even think about asking permission. I guess a misunderstanding of why you're dressing up in the first place? Either way it's totally rude.
