Hello my name is Claudia and I'm from Maryland in the United States!
I'm an English major and I hope to become a writer for either Scholastic or for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

I first stated watching Sailor Moon when it aired on Toonami on Cartoon Network, along with Hamtaro, Pokemon and DBZ. Every day I would come home after school and watch it at 4pm. It was my relaxing time as a child. I LOVED IT. I used to pretend that I was Sailor Moon because I am so much like her, from her eating habits ( ) to her awful study habits, to her love and justice-filled heart.

Sailor Moon also got me into anime/manga and the history of Japan as a whole. So far, I've watched/read Kaichou wa Maid-Sama, Clannad and in the process of reading Toradora. I believe that these series have led on the path to be a writer and to invent such beautiful stories for people to enjoy.

Other information is that I have several friends that I love to hang out with, when I can, I have a sister who loves anime as well and I run a tumblr called thewhitemoonfamily.tumblr.com.

I think there are a few depending on your age, like DBZ is one, I think Inuyasha is another, and sometimes even pokemon

Although I haven't been into Sailor Moon that long compared most, like everyone else, it is a huge part of my life!

Galaxia: Inuyasha was MY gateway anime. Sailor Moon was a close second.

Pokemon came about when I was in 4th grade, it was a HUGE thing, so I think it was a LITTLE too early for it to kindle much.. I had my phase and was done with pokemon (although I still find a lot of them adorable), but with SM I felt jipped. So I never forgot about it. We didn't have cable tv so I never got to see it again... So I became obsessed! I eventually found the manga and loved it so much I became addicted to the whole culture >_<

Yeah the same thing with Pokemon was that I thought it was a good show, until everyone went crazy about it. So then I said, NO this is getting too insane. I looked elsewhere and found SM and I was like YESSSSS this is what I've been looking for. THEN I WAS HOOKED from that first screaming moment of been late for school. haha.

Pokemon? POKEMON? Oh, God, that's been my life-drug since I was 5. I've finished the Pokedex, own all of the handheld games, have an obscene card collection....

It was the first thing I was ever obsessed with!

LMAO! It's hard not to be! She really connects with kids well, it's so cheesy if you watch it now, but so awesome you just don't even care <3

I definitely used to set my alarm clock for 6am as a little kid to watch Sailor Moon in the morning after my dad left for work. Most of the time I fell asleep in the first 10 minutes and woke up for the ending credits. Then it stopped airing on the channel I watched it on and I didnt see it again for years until Toonami picked it up and I started doing the same thing Claudia!!!

It's so cool to see so many people who watched it on Toonami at the same time on the same days, and now we're all finally interacting. I always felt jipped about (yes, I'm using the Dub names) Michelle and Amara's relationship... and the lack of Stars. I downloaded and watched the entire Stars season, subbed, and all of those Specials (not the movies, but I have all those downloaded for good). Stupid DiC.

Maybe with the re release of a new English translation of SM it will show producers how much we love SM in America still, and they we re do it properly...

BUUUUT that is just wishful thinking -_-

Yeah, that's definitely wishful thinking. I just started watching CardCaptors again and realized there was some weird stuff going on there, so I looked it up... America just isnt ready for "gay" cartoons, or transexual/transgender cartoons. Maybe in 20 years... but not yet. Thankfully Japan released subbed copies that I can read, which I dont mind all that much.

Sailor Moon at 4pm. CRITICAL. I remember once I went out with my family and it was possible we were not going to get home in time and I was on the verge of an emotional breakdown. No one could understand.
