| Hi, all! I have been a fan of Sailormoon since its introduction to the US over a decade ago. Thanks to that crazy odango I began studying Japanese and studied abroad in Nagoya for a year - gaining a minor in Japanese language and cultural studies. Usagi will always be my favorite, but Venus is a close second. However, back in the day I role-played Usagi, Galaxia, and even Diana. The only "Mary Sue" senshi I created was a Sailor Wolf, that was strongly supported by my role-play group and had a very in-depth history leading up to become the very god of Chaos. (Her origins spawned from Ail and Ann's Makaiju thanks to a time warp - she had an entire system of fellow plant and animal based senshi that she devoured to gain her power. Oh, good times! ;D) Otherwise, I am a Quality Assurance Analyst at a video game studio in Austin, TX. This basically means I am a game tester and get to play video games to test them for bugs and glitches. I also do some basic graphic and web design. I am married to my fella of 9 years - we've been married for 2. We have three "kids" - a black cat named Binx, a gray cat named Dani (short for Daenerys) and a dog named Brie (short for Brienne). I enjoy running, eating tasty food, and drinking yummy wine and beer. I am a big fan of Sailormoon, Disney, and Harry Potter. I really enjoy collecting cute things like Pinky:St, Disney Squinkies, Zizzlingers, and Lalaloopsy. I'm kind of a sucker for cute - especially if it's fairytale oriented. The other anime I love are classics like Evangelion, Utena, Ranma 1/2, Escaflowne, Nadia, Unico, Fushigi Yuugi, Marmalade Boy and Cardcaptor Sakura. But I also got into manga like Hot Gimmick and Kitchen Princess awhile back. I recently discovered a love of Korean and Japanese dramas like Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Boys Before Flowers. Beyond the Asian influence, I have a degree in English Literature. I love British Lit and BBC epics like Pride and Prejudice, Downton Abbey, and Sherlock. I also love American shows like Modern Family, Happy Endings, Castle, New Girl, Up All Night, Once Upon a Time, 30 Rock - yeah, basically I like TV. Happy, fun, eccentric, or uniquely dramatic television usually. I also enjoy reading. Most recently I've been into the Hunger Games, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy, The Name of the Wind series, and Game of Thrones series. I'm really looking to become a part of a community and meet like-minded folks who enjoy supporting, encouraging, and building up each other. Nice to meet you!

| OHMYGOSH A FELLOW SHERLOCK FAN!!!!!! Ahem, you are automatically my new favorite person. But yes, you seem so very interesting! Your job sounds pretty awesome, I must admit. Even though I am not a gamer myself, that is so cool that you get a first look at it all and get to test it out. What I really like is that you have a degree in British literature. Now that is just fascinating! Ooh, and you like the classics in anime! Sugoi desu ne. ♪───O(≧∇≦)O────♪ How is Game of Thrones? I want to watch it so very bad but I must hold off until the summer. No time now during uni. :/ Anyway, I am very excited to get to know you and I hope that you enjoy your time here! |

| The television show Game of Thrones is freaking awesome. I love the opening. I was tempted to keep cable, just so I could watch Game of Thrones. By the way, I like several television shows on your list (like Modern Family and Once Upon a Time). How did you end up in the video game industry? |

| Jupiter - zomg yer so sweet! XD Sherlock has been ridiculously amazing. Every answer to my love of Sherlock Holmes, really. So impressed. Stay out of gaming, haha - it is a black hole that is hard to escape from, lol. :3 But I am blessed to have found a place in it that I enjoy. Game of Thrones is /wonderful/. I highly recommend reading it as well as watching - HBO has done a great job of adapting it in my opinion. But they leave out just enough to keep the series fun to read. Thank you so much for your warm welcome! I am going to add you on Tumblr now if you don't mind. ;D |

| Venus - Right? That opening is just... inspired. It gets me so excited every time. :3 I started out in the video game industry as a Game Master for Blizzard. I had a lot of experience in customer service working for Disney, Apple, and Borders. I lucked out in meeting an animator who got me started in QA at my current studio. |

| Oh my gosh, tumblr is THE place for epic Sherlock posts. That is what sucked me into watching the show! I was so adverse to watching it for the longest time because Sherlock did not look like the Sherlock that I grew up with in the books. Lol. Childhood fondess is hard to break. But I finally cracked and fell in love! Obsessively. I can not believe the next season does not start until 2013. What kind of insanity is that?? Hm, do you like Johnlock as well or are they strictly just platonic to you? Oh, and tell me your tumblr as well. Thank you for following! You may regret it though as I post all sorts of craziness there. Hee. Hm, Game of Thrones looks incredible. I may read the books as well! Thank ya! |

| Jupe - Haha, so true! Yeh, I avoided Sherlock for awhile as well. No real reason why. Though, honestly, after discovering how long the episodes are yet how short the seasons are... UGH, TORTUE. I'm a Johnlock. :3 I just cannot help it. Honestly, even with the Downey/Law versions I can't stop shipping, ghh. 8D Platonic does not enter the equation. (You'll find I'm also a Harry/Ron fan - shoot me, no regrets. ) cigamerisedi.tumblr.com - come away with me! Insanity ensues on mine, as well. :3 |

THIS. THIS WHOLE PARAGRAPH. I FEEL LIKE YOU GET ME. SRSLY. Especially about...cute things (I bought Squinkies for the first time a while back cause I couldn't resist the Tangled ones!!!) and...the fact that you mentioned Kitchen Princess (even though i didn't finish getting the manga its like one of my fav adorables manga). AND OMG I JUST NOTICED. You're black cat is named Binx and I have a white cat named Linx and omg. /srsly spazzing out way more than she should. SRSLY. >.>....... /cough ahem. ANYWAY. Welcome to the GC!! You are like a state over from me! I work at Gamestop so we are in sort of the same industry. ^^;; Which company do you work for? EA has a testing facility in Baton Rouge (I live in Lafayette, LA) but its a bit far of a drive for the just above min wage pay... or else I'd have considered applying. Aaahhh and I've only watched an episode of Sherlock and I really need to watch the other two episodes. I had been seeing it all over Tumblr and I had mentioned it to the BF and he happened to start watching it on Netflix one day (WITHOUT ME THE MAN WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM) and i flipped out so we watched it together. Hahaha. So sorry if I've now totally scared you off with my hyperness.... >.> Edit: And on your tumblr you reblogged CherryGarcia omg you get me. |

| Hishou - Aw, thanks for the welcome! Hope you feel better soon! Small Lady - Hee! You have not scared me off at all! You've actually made me feel very welcome and happy to meet a bosom friend (as Anne Shirley would say, haha). :3 Squinkies are ridiculous. The amount of cute stuffed into those little things blows my mind. I am still looking for a good Tangled set. The only two I've found so far had some really bad paint jobs. :C I also wanna nab Aladdin. So far the Little Mermaid is probably my favorite, but I got Beauty and the Beast, too. Ahh, Binx and Linx! XD So funny. Yeah, I named him after Thackey Binx in Hocus Pocus. What inspired yours? I work for a small studio owned by Disney at the moment. It's just a contract position, but the game industry in Austin is pretty tight-nit so I'm hoping for other opportunities once I'm done. There will also be future projects here, so we'll see where it leads. I added you back on Tumblr! I love your posts. And yeah, I'm a huge fan of Bri-chan's work. The only reason I was lamenting the Once Upon a Time Beauty and the Beast piece was because I dislike Emilie de Ravin. I was obsessed with the tv show Roswell back in the day and she played a heinous character on it, lol. But I adore Bri-chan's princess work and Hatter/Alice is one of my favorite OTPs. :3 So nice to meet you! |

| Senda - I fell hard and fast for Downton, hehe. XD I watched the majority of it in one week to catch up originally. So well done. I highly recommend A Song of Ice and Fire. It's heart wrenching, but well worth it. Martin better finish it, though. D: I did finish the Larsson Trilogy books! I really enjoyed the first one, but I also like the last two because they focus more on Lisbeth herself and I find her to be such a fascinating character. Thanks for the welcome! Paprika - Yes! Definitely. Sometimes my favorite anime make me feel old, haha. XD When I was in Japan it was extremely difficult to find any merchandise for most of them since they'd come out 15-20 years earlier, lol. But that made the stuff I did manage to find that much more meaningful. Thanks for the welcome! |

So nice to meet you! I actually haven't watched Once Upon a Time yet...but I keep hearing amazing things about. I am going to have to check it out eventually. XD I have thought about Texas for the gaming industry, but when I was looking at jobs most of them weren't for art type positions so I'm unsure of myself. Aww, Hocus Pocus was such a great movie. XD That's so awesome you named your cat after the one from the movie. Linx came from the name my BF often uses for video game characters in RPGs and stuff. It sounded like Link (From Zelda) but different and I couldn't think of another name at time (still wonder WHY I never thought of Artemis) when I found him. But now his name has developed into Linx, Stinky Winx, Periwinkle, Peri...Poor cat doesn't know his name XD |

| Small Lady - There are things I like and things I dislike about Once Upon a Time - but I can't resist Disney-fied retellings of fairytale classics. So I will continue to watch it and hope for the best! I definitely recommend checking it out sometime. Don't give up if you're at all interested in going to Texas to be an artist in the gaming industry. Maybe try hunting down the individual studios and approaching them. Depending on their projects and timelines, openings can pop up all the time. Hehe, I hear ya. Binx gets called Binxie, Thackery, Binximus Maximus... I figure it's just a natural part of being a pet parent. |
