Oh awesome! I've always wanted some PGSM toys. I saw some a while back for fairly cheap on ebay and I was wary about getting them. I don't remember what it was though, but most PGSM toys I've seen (besides like gashapon toys) are usually pretty expensive.

Also, I was looking at your blog and I'm so jealous of all your Tuxedo Mask stuff. I don't have anything Tuxedo Mask yet. Poor Tuxy. XD

Oh thank you! Tux is my favorite! I'm set out to get everything I can find of Tux! I got a Tux Irwin Spinning base doll on the way. There is only one international doll of tux I need left and that's the Germany doll from Igel! I can't wait till the new merchandise hits stores from GE because I want the new Tux Wallet!

Oh those Trunks figures! He was my first anime love! lol. I had to go to specialty shops to find some of those. I think i got the Clow Cards at Kmart at the time, i don't remember them being too expensive or else my mom would have said no (LIKE SHE DID TO SAKURA'S KEY WAND STAFF THINGY I HAD FOUND SOMEWHERE I REGRET THAT DECISION EVERYDAY lol well some days). The lightsaber I have is one i got in Disney World when i went on the band trips, when we went it was always Star Wars weekends! Its a blue one.

Just in case you're wondering, the other VHS's are Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (Uncut/Bootleg I bought off Ebay very long ago), Gundam Wing: Operation Meteor Odd and Even Numbers (both pts 1 and 2 for each) and Dragonball Z: The Namek Saga (Pioneer Dub).

I am a huge anime/video game collector and Sailor Moon is no exception from my collection. While my Sailor Moon collection is small, I have pretty much narrowed it down to where I will only collect things that have Sailor Saturn in it (although there will always be exceptions - lol). My favorite season!!! When this was being released, I was working as a Store Manager at Suncoast and when a new volume was released, I would bring litterally every penny I had and gave it to my Assistant Manager so I could get the next volume - I also made sure I wasn't closing that night. lol!! Anyways, the last volume in this season came in a limited edition box that had the last volume and the last manga book for the S arc. Also the dvd with Mars and Venus was actually signed by the voice actor of Professor Tomoe. ^^


I am missing two dvds from this season and plan to buy soon.


I bought two bootlegs of this season back in the early 2000's because I had heard the horror stories of bootleg qualities. This one was the better one and also pretty much copied the VKLL subtitles word for word and sold the other one to another Sailor Moon fan. Oddly enough though (and because of my stupidity at the time), this bootleg boxset got signed by the voice actress of Sailor Star Healer/Yaten.






It should be pretty clear that the Sailor Saturn/Hotaru Tomoe gasaphon figurine are my favorite and often, people question why she has a book in this figurine. And I have an answer for it! ^^ In the anime episode where Chibiusa meets Hotaru for the first time, just before Hotaru goes to catch Chibiusa hat, Hotaru was actually reading a book much like the one she was reading. ^^ So that's where I figured the book came from, which makes sense since the hat is also Chibiusa's hat.






I SOOOO wished they made a Darkury gasaphon figurine but they never did *cries*












And for the last part of my Sailor Moon collection...gashapon bootlegs!!!! This was again my own stupidity for not realizing when a deal was too good. I bought all six bootlegs for $10USD. I will probably not part with, at least until I replace them all and make an article on how to tell the difference between a Sailor Moon gashapon bootleg and the real gashapon figurine of these figurines.






(This one I'm itching to replace the quickest since it has Hotaru in it - lol)

XD i'm pretty positive some of my other gashapon figures that I own (I have Trigun and original FMA series ones) are official because I got them at Anime Cons and they came with the little booklets from the company that made them (which i don't know where these booklets).

Yeah, when I recieved these in the mail, I decided the amount justified to get my money back and then ship it back would be too costly so I just decided to keep them. Regardless, I do like these, I just want the official ones - lol ^^

One way I usually am able to tell from a bootleg gashapon figurine to a real one is two ways. The easiest way is to see the figurine comes apart in individual pieces or arrives in individual pieces that has to be put together. The other way (though there are exceptions) is the manufacturer will have their "mark" on it. My Saturn gashapon and my Hotaru gashapon both have the Bandi manufacturer mark/information on it.

Regardless of bootlegs, they are fun to look at. ^^ But I know there are people who pay a lot of the bootlegs and don't realize it until someone points it out. Hence, why I want to write the article because while I do own the bootlegs, I didn't spend a significant amount on them.

Exactly! I agree. I didn't pay much for them either. Same goes for the bootleg boxset of the R season I got. I paid about $40 with shipping while trying to buy it official is like $100 + at the time (and thats when the ADV R boxsets were still in print!)

I so remember those prices and I drooled until RightStuf.com was having this ridiculous sale on the ADV classic and R boxsets when it became known that ADV was going to loose the rights. I bought both boxsets for a combine total of $100 and didn't have to pay any shipping because they had another deal on top of that where if I spent $100 or more, I would get free shipping.

One of the best deals that I have gotten with Sailor Moon merchandise to date! ^^

What I don't have pictured: My broken alarm clock of Eternal Sailor Moon, a little Princess Serenity (that's broken too, I'm too lazy to big for those), and two wall scrolls.









Now, the Silver Crystal Lotus form, Cutie Rod, Live Action Crescent Moon Wand where bought by my oldest sister. The two coloring panels were found by my mom at a Goodwill Store, and the rest are Con items. :3 The original mangas were bought by me when the original were out. (By original, I mean the "Bunny sukino translated.) And the new manga was bought by Amazon.com.
