The Galaxy Cauldron is proud to announce its first writing contest. The theme for this writing contest is "Transformation." You are free to interpret the theme as you like. The rules are as follows:

Rules
1. Entries must be 1000 words or less.
2. Entries must be rated PG13 or lower.
3. Entries must be related to the theme.
4. Your entry must be a new entry created specifically for this challenge.
5. You may only submit one entry.
6. You may not show your entry to anyone else or post it elsewhere on the Galaxy Cauldron until after the contest is over and the winner is announced.
7. Sailor Moon themed entires are encouraged.

Note: All entries must be PMed to Sailor Venus by March 30th. All questions may be directed to Sailor Venus.

COMPLETE FAIL. 1000 words and still introducing. We'll see how long this story takes; I'm ending it with her transformation, but I'm hoping it won't take more than 3000 words ^^'

DOUBLE EDIT: Okay, I've finished. It's 2876 words long; could I submit the 1000 words towards the end that includes her transformation for the contest and then post the rest of it later? (ノ°ο°)ノ hopefully many many more! Do we really have to have it once every other month? Could we do it once a month? Like voting opens on the first of the month and closes on the 10th, where the winner is named, and then the new topic is voted on between the 10th and 15th, and then the new contest starts on the 15th and all entries must be in by the second-to-last day of the month? Giving a day to get them posted so people can read them and then vote on the one they liked the best starting the next day?

Well, we have it set up so the writing contest and the art contest will rotate, so people can join both if they want. There should be always be a contest going, whether it means submissions or voting.

Are we doing blind voting? Like not tagging the entries with who wrote them, just putting them out there for people to vote on and announcing the authors once voting has ended?

It's a possibility, but Chimia is the one running the contest. Of course, if the entries involve OCs, it's probably clear who wrote them regardless.

I hadn't even thought about that detail, actually. I think I might hide them.

We have received our 4th submission! Tomorrow, whenever I get up in the morning, I'll post all the submissions for voting. Ya'll will have a week to vote.
