When inspiration feels blocked, writing prompts can seem like a gift from the powers-that-be in control of writing. Help us collect some prompt ideas (which we can use for future contests) by submitting them here! Do your fellow writers and guild members a service by sharing your thoughts! What is a contest?A contest is an event where Writing & Roleplaying Guild members submit secret entries, based on criteria, and then vote for a winner. Find out more about Writing and Roleplaying Guild contests: Guild Challenges, Contests, and Games! What are the requirements for this contest?Provide, with one to two sentences, a prompt for writers to attempt in less than 1000 words. Acceptable formats include lines of dialogue, "finish this sentence"-type prompts, questions posed to the writer, and more! Being inspired by existing writing prompts you've used or seen is fine, but please submit something original. 
- Entries must be one to two sentences.
- Entries must be rated PG-13 or lower.
- Entries must be new and written specifically for this contest. Please do not copy & paste writing prompts found elsewhere.
- Submit a maximum of four (4) entries.
- Entries must be kept secret until the results of the contest is announced. Voting for the contests are blind—the authors identities are kept secret until the voting period is over and a winner is decided. This helps to even the playing field and avoids favoritism as no one knows the identity of the authors.
- Sailor Moon-themed entries are encouraged, but not required. There will be two voting categories, one for Sailor Moon-themed entries.
- The winner of the contest receives a personalized winning signature and qualifies for a stamp based on their number of wins.
