Storyline Specific Information: To Rise Again - Quote :
- The dark presence of the Earth army and their powerful queen have been growing stronger, a constant drain upon the senshi and their defenses to protect their own queen and their beloved princess. A particularly difficult battle ends in defeat for the Silver Millennium. It is only pre-emptive orders from the Queen that allow the senshi to escape with Princess Serenity before the explosions of dark energy begin to shred the castle. The fates of the civilians, of their home, of their Queen, are all a mystery.
The senshi must recuperate and come up with a new plan of attack so that they might win against Earth once and for all, and save the Silver Millennium.
In this RP, at the end battle between Metallia and Queen Serenity, the senshi retreat away from the castle instead of being ultimately sealed away by the Queen and sent to the future. They have to stay in their broken world and try to figure out how to rescue their home and their Queen.
Additional Information:
- Sailor Uranus was forbidden to leave the zone (in the outer system) she was assigned to protect; in the original version, she had to watch the fall of the Silver Millennium without interfering.
- Sailor Uranus has a talisman - the Space Sword - that she uses to fight the enemies that attempt to infiltrate the Silver Millennium from beyond the Solar System; the Space Sword holds an immense power that even she cannot tap into, a power that, when combined with the powers of the Garnet Orb and the Aquamarine Mirror, can awaken the final Soldier, the guardian of death: Sailor Saturn. It this fear of this resonance between the Talismans that bars them from physically meeting.
- Where she was stationed was lonely - "They were without people. We were alone there, in such isolated places that no one could come to our rescue, but, no matter what, We could look towards the beautiful Silver Millennium and think of its beautiful Queen and Princess. They both served as our rays of light." "That's right. The light that they emitted gave us all strength. There was nothing we couldn't accomplish." "Whenever we thought it was too much to bare and wanted to give up, that light brought us the strength to carry on." Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Act 35
Source: Sailor Moon Manga, Infinity Arc, Act 32-35 RP Sample: The choice to come despite direct instruction never to leave her post had been the hardest, most selfish decision Uranus had ever faced. ... the hardest choice she had ever made. As she flew from her post, racing towards the Moon Kingdom and the fading light that had sustained her for so long, her chest quivered with anxious guilt. She had abandoned her post. She was directly disobeying her Queen's orders. She was letting down the others out there - Neptune and Pluto - and making their duties all the more difficult for her absence. Uranus castle was only accessible by her, and the wards and protections in place to guard her sector were only tethered to it. They would not know of a threat that entered the system from her sector until it was already in and hitting the last defenses before the orbit of the cursed planet. Still, though, she could not leave her Queen and Princess to suffer. Their light was fading - the Guardian senshi must have fallen. Surely she would be forgiven for coming to the aide of her Queen and Princess, even if that meant... She grit her teeth, changing her trajectory to angle down into the inner system, having shot out of the ecliptic plane to avoid the Asteroid Belt and any shades hiding within it. She knew what her Queen would say. She knew of the disappointment that would be in her eyes. But still... She could not let them die!She could see the glow of the fires beneath the plumes of smoke issuing forth from the Moon Kingdom, the world she had ever only dreamt of visiting, and her heart broke, her flight slowing in shock as she viewed the wanton destruction of the world that had been her only source of comfort. She had been too late. Her brows furrowed in confusion for a split second - she had hesitated in coming, and if she hadn't, she could have made it in time. She should have just left - she could have made a difference. She could have helped them! Her fists balled beside her, hating herself for her inability to act sooner, hating herself for how useless she had been to her most precious people in the end, hating herself for the pain they must have suffered -But then she saw them. She straightened, her eyes opening wide as she spotted the small group of people not a few days walk from the city, and her heart skipped a beat, a familiar glow instantly calling to mind an image of her Princess. Alive. But without her Queen?! She turned her attention back to the burning city, determination sharpening her gaze until she felt it - faint but there, and immediately she dove, using the Moon's gravitational pull to hasten her descent, knowing she was making the right choice. The Princess was safe enough, the Queen was --Her breath escaped her as she was knocked aside by a flying missile, her body hitting an opalescent structure hard before she fell to the ground in a heap, straining until her lungs once again drew breath. The sounds of war surrounded her, more loud and raucous than anything she had ever encountered before, practically deafening her senses that had been attuned to solitude for so long. Shaken but not giving up, she stood, summoned her Sword, and ran - not into the fray, but towards that guiding light from her Queen, her talisman neatly cutting through anything that should stand in her way. As she neared that soft and perfect light, she ran into guards that lowered their weapons at the sight of her, moving aside from a doorway they had been protecting, and she rushed in --Only to be dismissed, the Queen's gaze on the talisman in her hand.Told to go back to her post, that she was needed here.Ordered, by her beloved Queen, to return to doing nothing but wait.Uranus did not hesitate in refusing this plans, recalling all too well what her last hesitation had cost. "No! I will not abandon you. I am more needed here than I am there." the Queen's cooling stare was filled with disappointment, leadening Uranus's confidence, rising her embarrassment and chagrin with addressing her so, but she would not give up. "Please, my Queen, I will not leave and let you die. This talisman was given to me to defend the Silver Millennium, to defend you and the Princess, and I will not give up that charge so quickly. Let me protect you! Please, don't send me away!"She was coldly reminded that her mission was not in the protection of the Queen and Princess, but the protection of the outer zones. That her talisman had another purpose, an important one that could not be risked here. She was ordered back to Castle Miranda, and when she opened her mouth to make another attempt at convincing her to let her stay and fight, he was released from Queen Serenity's service. Her heart shattered into a thousand pieces, and, in shock, she was lead by guards of the Moon Kingdom out of Serenity's chamber, and pushed into the direction of open air. She was to go home. To sit and wait it out. To see what happened, and protect the system from vague, potential threats despite there being a direct threat to her entire purpose right here. A direct threat to the Moon Kingdom, and the light that had comforted her so. The light she lived for and fought to protect. The Queen had dismissed her...But the Princess -! The smoke was thicker as she moved through it a second time. Her heart churned with the second betrayal she was committing, but she knew she could not just wait. The Queen may have dismissed her from her service, but her beloved Princess had not, and while they had never met, with so much at stake she was sure she would be allowed to stay at her guard. She did not know what had happened to the Guardian Senshi, but if things had become this dire they were bound to have already been defeated....But they hadn't. Broken, bruised, and tired, all of them were alive. All of them were retreating, leaving their Queen behind.Including Neptune and Pluto. She kept to herself, not knowing or trusting what she would say to anyone. She was furious with the Guardian Senshi - they had all escaped with their lives but had left Queen Serenity and the rest of the civilians of their shining city to their fate. Were they selfish? or simply incompetent? This enemy had not come from the outer regions, thus had been their responsibility to handle, and obviously they had not been up to the task. Their purview had been smaller than those of herself, Neptune and Pluto, and there were more of them, and yet they had failed so utterly to protect the one thing they were all bound to protect. They were weak. And while she did not particularly hate them for being weaker than she, she did blame them for not giving it their all when it counted. They endeared themselves to her only in how much they obviously cared for her Princess. The actions of the other two complicated her feelings towards them, her brows furrowing with confusion and something... else whenever she considered them. They were her direct allies - Senshi she had never met before but whom she knew to exist. The other holders of the Talismans. The only others that would know the solitude she had faced, would know how much the Queen and her Princess meant. She had hesitated in arriving for fear of disappointing those two, for letting down these peers she had spoken sparingly to for so many years... and yet they had so easily abandoned their post to help here. They had arrived here before she had, and had come from so much further - Neptune's palace was half again the distance from hers, and Pluto's twice as far. To her knowledge she was the fastest Senshi of them, on top of all of that. Had they arrived during the evacuation? Had they chosen Princess over Queen? Had... had the Queen treated them differently? Were they allowed to be there, as she was not? And beyond all that, she was keenly aware of her talisman and how it reacted whenever theirs were near - another reason for keeping her distance, for standing watch and keeping her eyes anywhere but at the group assembled in the wastes of the Moon. When the group settled down to rest near a cave, she continued to keep her distance, standing so as to barely hear their voices, setting the perimeter of safe vocalizations, the faint sounds more familiar to her than the noise of the city had ever been. Despite looking back towards the Kingdom proper, she noticed when the brightly colored senshi converged into the cave, nearly in sync as though called. She kept her ground for a moment, idly entertaining the idea that she'd keep watch and figure out what they were talking about later... only to take a deep, steadying breath and stride towards the cave. Information was crucial. She had no idea where they were going or the extent of this fight - Hades, she did not even know whom this war was with or what it was about. She stepped carefully into the cave and approached the knot of people, her eyes avoiding her Princess for the moment, not feeling worthy of the comfort it gave her. Not now. Not yet. She kept her jaw closed tight, listening carefully to what was said and judging every speaker. First impressions lasted longest, and in this situation, with what just happened, she felt like the Guardian Senshi's true selves would be showing. Venus was obviously the leader, a thought that soured her impression of her immediately, unhelped by her suggestion that the civilians would be left in charge of protecting her Princess. A Guardian who so easily gives her duty to another - she started, the sour thought so easily spreading only to be met with a response about how she had left her own station... but that was different. They were supposed to be dead. She was supposed to replace them. That they were alive and that she should then be heading back to her station was... complicated. She moved in closer at Venus's direction, crossing her arms and putting her weight on one leg as she awaited the continuation.Mercury consistently trailed off when she spoke, as though she was never quite sure of what she was saying. Uranus kept her frown from showing by clenching her teeth, disapproving of that quality in a guardian. The black cat spoke sense, and gave the enemy a name. The Dark Kingdom.Jupiter seconded Luna, but her comment 'What do I do?' immediately tagged her as indecisive to Uranus, the judgement again being met by her own recollections of what had happened that very day. Her fists clenched on her arm. When the green-suited senshi finished, she considered speaking up and telling them that they did have more power now - that she, Neptune, and Pluto could wipe the floor with whatever power had obviously so easily done them in, but Mercury again spoke in that tentative, trailing voice, and she impatiently waited until Mercury, too, sided with not leaving her Princess to the protection of hurt civilians.'How can we just stay here and do nothing?' Venus mused, and Uranus's gaze narrowed in on her. Do nothing? Did she dare just compare protecting her Princess to doing nothing?! The red one spoke - Mars - and identified the man near her Princess as a Terran, but the gravity of that statement escaped her. That whomever went back to confront needed to be powerful seemed like an obvious statement, but that she then looked at her Princess put Uranus on edge. She had obviously been sent away for her protection. With how things were going back there, she intended her Princess stay as far away as possible. She understood what Mars was suggesting, but Queen Serenity had the Silver Crystal when the city fell, and had full control over its abilities. If she could not defeat the enemy with it, sending in her Princess to make the attempt was folly. What kind of Guardians were they?Like a gauzy curtain being pushed aside by a slight breeze, her disdain melted away as her Princess pushed her way through them to stand before Venus, her light filing Uranus with serenity, the balm on her spirit and heart powerful enough to wipe everything else of that moment away, and for that second Uranus was lost in her. She was here, right in front of her, close enough to touch: the light of hope that had kept her going. She felt her tension fading away, her ears thrilling at the sound of her Princess's voice, heard for the very first time. She loved them. Each of them - that much was clear. She was strong, or trying desperately to be so. Her heart wavered - her Princess was trying so hard to be ready, even though it was clear she was not. She'd protect her and do the right thing, even if her Guardians were not prepared to do so.The white cat spoke, but she kept her gaze on her Princess, watching her react as the cat's words registered. She knew what the city was like - or what it had been like hours before. She marked the name Beryl. She marked his suggestion that a small team should go, rather than all of them. All perfectly reasonable solutions, and while she believed that she would be useful in the city, what with her powers keyed in for outer threats posed by powerful beings and these enemies seemed nothing more than human, she was not comfortable leaving her Princess when some of her Guardians seemed to have motivations beyond her safety in mind. Her Princess may well become her Queen sooner than she was supposed to, but she would make sure that certain duties that came with that change were not thrust upon her before she was ready for them.Venus appointed Mercury to the team of those who would scout the castle's border, and Uranus scowled despite herself. The blue senshi seemed like a liability, but she had some sort of computer at her disposal so she did not protest the appointment. Someone would need to watch out for the hesitant girl, however, and a sinking feeling told her that she was best suited for the job. She did not want to go. She did not want to leave her Princess, especially to go back towards the Queen and be reminded of her failure there, but all the same she stated, as the first words uttered since her arrival, "I'll go with her. She'll need someone capable to keep her alive." Not for her own sake, but for her Princess's. With Neptune and Pluto there she was sure their Princess's body would be protected, but Uranus would take action to ensure her emotional state would be, as well. She loved these inept Guardian senshi of hers, and Uranus would do her best to keep them safe and keep her Princess's mind at ease.Jupiter volunteered, her statement once again convincing Uranus that these Guardian senshi did not understand their duty to their Princess, strengthening her resolve to be here. It was not her place to be, but her presence would make a difference in the outcome here. With Jupiter they had their three, but Mars interrupted with a change to their plan. She waited, glancing at Jupiter again now that their fighting abilities had been compared, and then turned her gaze to Neptune, her mysterious ally of the outer system. If Mars did not wish to go, Neptune would. If Neptune were not here to protect their Princess, then she would stay to provide that protection and reassurance. They knew of each other's abilities, even if they did not speak outside of professional conversation and warnings for attacks headed their way. She respected Neptune, even though she looked softer than what she had imagined her to look. More vulnerable, with that long wavy hair and those elegant features. Still, she trusted her to keep their Princess's friends safe. Venus acquiesced to the swap without her vocalization, and as the trio prepared to leave, Uranus left the cave and tilted her head up to catch Neptune's attention, calling her over. - Quick RTRP between Uranus and Neptune [i]as uranus and neptune bahahah FOR THE FIRST TIIIIME wrote:

"You can count on me," Uranus said without preface, her gaze traveling meaningfully back into the cave where their Princess spoke quietly with Pluto. "I will keep her safe," she stated with all the gravity of an oath, but then she looked back at Neptune, "In body, anyway; with all that has happened, she needs those two to come back. You are more important," her words hung heavily, her meaning skewed towards the importance of the talismans and their duties as protectors of the outer system, "but if it is possible to do so, please ensure they make it back to her." As the away team faded to dots on the horizon, Uranus stood silent watch outside the cave, listening to the weak winds of the artificial atmosphere as she stared out onto the unmoving landscape, determined to do her part here as thoroughly as she had done on Miranda. Nothing would make it past her. Senshi Information
Senshi Name: Sailor UranusSenshi Fuku:
- Standard Solar System Senshi fuku style; primary color - dark navy blue; secondary color (front bow only) - yellow. Tiara stone: dark blue.
Differences:
- Glove length - classic-length rather than the inner's elbow-length, ribbed with three fabric bands
- Boots - between ankle and mid-calf length, dark blue, high heeled, fabric layered to give a ragged effect
- Earrings - twin golden hoops
Powers and Magical Items:
- Space Sword (Item) - one of the three Talismans of the outer system, the Space Sword is a blade of a length that Sailor Uranus controls and determines, from small knife to long rapier, depending on the situation. It's blade seems to be made of a strong, clear crystal that can cut through nearly anything. Its hilt is silvered titanium - light and strong - and the cross-guard arcs in either direction like a stylized "S"; one of the edges curving back over her grip, the other curving to accent the blue orb that represents the planet Uranus, the metal itself serving as half of the rings that orbit the horizontally-oriented planet. When activated, it resonates with the other two talismans of the outer system and, when the talismans are gathered, it can release the energy necessary to awaken the Goddess of Destruction, Soldier of Silence, Sailor Saturn.
- Space Sword Blaster - an attack Sailor Uranus can use in conjunction with the Space Sword that can be performed in two forms: 1. a powerful energy blast is emitted from the blade as Uranus slashes at her opponent from afar. 2. the sword glows with destructive power as Uranus fights in close quarters, doing further harm to anything that comes in contact with her blade.
- World Shaking - an attack wherein Uranus throws her arm downward and a blast of energy travels along the ground in the shape of her planet, to smash into her enemy, dealing damage and knocking them off balance.
