Character Name: Tellu (Lulu Teruno)
Gender: Female
Age and Date of Birth: Early 20s
Used Canons:
90s Anime, Manga, Crystal
Appearance:
Tellu has - just like the other Witches 5 - pale skin. Both her eyes and her hair are a deep green, with her hair being tied into four buns, from which a few strains of loose hair stick out, almost reaching her shoulders. In both her real, and her Civilian form, Tellu wears black heels, as well as earrings consisting of two pink pearls being stacked on top of each other. As Tellu, she wears a rather revealing black dress, which fades out into a few green cuts, resembling the crown petals of flowers. Her dress is held by a black net covering her entire body, with the exception of her face, which come together at the black Death Busters Star around her neck. In the Manga the net alternates between thicker points, and thinner points which serve as a connection, making the net look like stranglethorns wrapping around her body. In the Anime the stronger points are missing, removing the resemblance. Her Outfit is rounded up by a pair of leggings having the same color as her hair and the green cuts on her dress.
In the Anime, her Civilian Form wears a white blouse, covered by a pink apron, which ends in a skirt and is held together by two pink ribbons on her back. On her apron there are two pockets roughly at the height of her hips. Peeking out underneath the skirt, she wears short black pants, which are only slightly longer than the skirt itself. In addition while in the lab with the other Witches 5, she wears a white lab coat over her regular Outfit.
In the Manga the Civilian Outfit from the Anime is completely missing, and instead she wears the Mugen University Uniform, which consists of a dark red blouse with a green ribbon on the chest, and a long, green checkered skirt. In both her Civilian Forms she wears a collar with the Black Death Busters Star around her neck.
Personality:
Tellu's most defining trait is her love for plants, which mirrors well in both her plant-based attacks and outfit. In the Anime she is depicted as smart, ruthless, unforgiving, treacherous and very egocentric. She will do whatever it takes to reach her goals, going as far as backstabbing and killing Mimete, one of her associates, without any sign of remorse, calling her 'a failure'. She is loyal to Professor Tomoe, although with her set of personality traits, the only real allegiance she has is to herself. A small sign of a possible redemption is shown shortly before her death, where she begs the Sailor Senshi to help her, promising to be good, though this was probably only an act.
In the Manga, while still being smart and ruthless, Tellu isn't depicted as being egocentric like she is in the Anime. She is completely loyal not only to her Magus Kaolinite, but to the other Witches 5 as well, only working against the Sailor Senshi. But while being a lot nicer to her associates, Manga Tellu's ruthlessness can still be seen when she attacks Humans with her Plants in an effort to steal their energy for Master Pharaoh 90. There's also no possible sign of redemption in the Manga, as she's still loyal to the Death Busters even after being killed by the Sailor Senshi once. Her Manga Counterpart is also depicted as treacherous, telling Sailor Jupiter that they don't have to fight, only to be able to hypnotize her with the help of her plants.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills:
Green Thumb: Tellu possesses a natural skill for gardening, being able to create her own breeds of plants to steal Pure Hearts/ Energy.
Energy Absorption: Just like her Plants, Tellu is able to absorb not only human energy but also enemy attacks, making herself stronger.
Physical Fitness: In the Manga, Tellu is able to fight for herself and dodge enemy attacks.
Mandragora Buster: Tellu uses this ability in the Manga. She shoots out Vines from her hands which immobilize her enemies and drain them of their energy.
Daimon Form: Tellu is a perfect Host and therefore able to transform and control her Daimon form.
History:
Tellu was a student at the Mugen University, before being identified as a perfect Host and injected with a Daimon egg. During the Events of Sailor Moon S in the 90s Anime, she already works for the Death Busters. Before being assigned to collect pure Hearts, she is seen in the lab, beating Mimete at Twister, before playing against Professor Tomoe. She stands in direct competition with Mimete, and after countless failures on her rival's part, Professor Tomoe tasks Tellu to take over Mimete's job. Mimete overhears this however, and calls Tellu with a voice changer, to tell her that the project was cancelled. Not being fooled by this trick, Tellu started to spy on Mimete and after she uses the Witches Electric Warp to amplify her power Tellu pulls the plug, killing Mimete.
After Mimete's Death, Tellu completely took over her job and used her own creation, a plant called Tellun, to hypnotize people and steal their pure Hearts. It didn't take long before she was confronted by Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon and Sailor Pluto. Although she had the upper hand at first, the tides turned when Tuxedo Mask arrived and Sailor Moon turned into Super Sailor Moon and destroyed most of her plants. Having only one Tellun left, she injected it with an unknown liquid, turning it into a Pure-Heart-Eating Monster called a Hyper Tellun. Although this turned out to be her downfall, as Tuxedo Mask managed to destroy the container in which she carried the pure Hearts she had stolen, causing her own Plant to turn against her and killing her.
In the Infinity Arc of the Manga, Tellu is a Level 404 Witch under direct order of Magus Kaolinite. After Eudial, Mimete, and Viluy were all killed by the Sailor Senshi, Kaolinite tasked Tellu with obtaining high-quality hosts, as well as Energy for Pharaoh 90. She sends her Plants to be sold in various Stores all over Tokyo, turning them into an instant hit. After Makoto buys one as well and figures out that they are only a tool to steal people's Energy, the Sailor Senshi confront Tellu at the Mugen botanical gardens. There she engages in a fight with the Sailor Senshi, but is killed by Sailor Pluto after she transforms into her Daimon Form. She is later resurrected by Kaolinite and manages to hypnotize Sailor Jupiter with the help of her plants, only to be later killed for good by the Outer Senshi.
RP Sample:
After having spied on Mimete for almost an entire day now, Tellu finally saw an opportunity to strike and get rid of this annoying woman for good. In a final act of desperation Mimete has transferred herself into a machine called the Witches Electric Warp, increasing her powers greatly. "What a foolish girl." Tellu laughed. "Did she really never think about why Eudial built a machine but never dared to use it?"
Shortly after Mimete entered the machine and was about to claim her victory, Tellu stepped out of the shadows, holding the wire powering the machine in her hand. The young woman announced her entrance to her rival with a short "Oh, Hello Mimete." "What are you doing here?" Was the only thing Mimete replied. With an almost maniacal smile on her face, Tellu announced the fatal flaw of Eudials machine. She could see how Mimete's self-assured smile of Victory, slowly turned into the face of despair, and she enjoyed every second of it. "Please, I beg you." But it was no use. After a short "Goodbye Mimete" Tellu pulled the plug, and killed Mimete, leaving even the Sailor Senshi in shock. "That's what you get for trying to steal my job." After taking a short glimpse at her enemies, she left the building and made her way back to the lab. She really didn't understand why Eudial and Mimete had such a hard time getting rid of the Sailor Senshi, because none of them really seemed to look like much. But it didn't matter now, as Tellu knew it was finally her turn to collect pure Hearts for Professor Tomoe, and unlike her predecessors she knew she wouldn't fail.
