| I haven't read the manga. I'll admit it. But I'm curious as to Galaxia's story. I know it's different in the anime, that's why I'm curious. Why did she become evil? |

| I would really suggest reading the manga to find out otherwise it kind of just spoils everything. We also have a sailor moon manga club where we read all the volumes of the manga. We're on volume one this month so if you'd like you can join the club and start reading the manga with us  |

| I like Sailor Moon a lot, but it isn't one of my most important interests, I probably won't read the manga due to lack of time. Will anyone tell me why Galaxia becomes evil? You can block it so that people who want it to be a surprise won't see it. |

In the manga Galaxia stated that she came from a 'trash' planet and she got sick of the people there and being generally in a terrible place. She was directed by someone (that if I recall correctly looks a bit like Wiseman??) to Chaos and eventually began to serve it in her quest for power, only to realize belatedly that she's still just a pawn for it. So basically she's just evil because she grew up in an awful place, kind of. As far as I knew she was never 'good' in the manga, nor was there any noble sacrifice on her part.
It's been a while since I read the manga though so this is just from my vague memory of it. |

| If you're familiar only with the anime, it might also interest you to know that - Spoiler:
Chibi-Chibi had nothing to do with Galaxia's Star Seed, nor becoming a sword. Instead, she was the disguise chosen by Sailor Cosmos who is a future (reincarnation of) Sailor Moon.

Galaxia was a power hungry senshi who grew up on a rotten war-torn world of insanity. She started out with nothing and envied others with more than her. When she realized her unique senshi powers and the raw strength she gets from being Sailor Moon's only equal. She destroyed her planet and set out to rule the entire galaxy and later on the universe by having literally the ability to manipulate everything in the universe.
She's Frieza but not pure evil essentially. |

The "being her equal" thing I think comes into play in her motivations *after* leaving her planet. Also not sure about the power to manipulate *everything* but close enough XD. |
