Explanation of a Haiku For this contest, a haiku is a short poem following this pattern:
Line 1 (5 syllables)
Line 2 (7 syllables)
Line 3 (5 syllables) | For example:
Tuxedo Mask flies
To aid maidens in danger
With a rose's toss |
