With February and Valentine's Day come thoughts of roses, chocolates, cards, and romance! Let's honor Tuxedo Mask, an obvious representative for such a holiday, with a challenge that tests creativity and encourages brushing up on vocabulary usage. It's easy to use terms that come to mind readily for a given topic, so let's go a bit beyond that and try to approach our writing from a slightly different angle!

What is a challenge?
A challenge is an objective (or objectives) that a single Writing and Roleplaying Guild member strives to attain, based on the outlined criteria. This is not a competition against others—your only rival is yourself.

What are the requirements for this challenge?
Test your creativity with synonyms and figurative language by writing prose and/or poetry (250 to 500 words) on the topic of our master of roses, Tuxedo Mask, without using words typically associated with him.

As an added bonus, if you'd like a more difficult challenge, avoid permutations of the words on the list (for example, don't use "rosy", "destined", or "masked").
