Plot Summary: In the city of Sapporo, Japan, strange, unexplained events begin to occur. People claim to have witnessed the world itself distort around them, and twisted monsters emerged from portals to attack them. Electronics fail to work, and the rest of the Earth appears to freeze in the affected space. These anomalies have never been recorded, but rumors say they tend to appear in areas where huge amounts of people congregate or pass by. Some escape and live to tell their unbelievable tale, but others... they are found hours later, emotionally and mentally scarred to the point of numbness, but not a physical scratch on them. The police have no reliable leads on these odd cases, and can't logically connect the victims to these reported distortion events, as the victims are in no shape to testify to what happened to them.

At Hokkai Gakuen Sapporo High School, it is a new school year, and a group of students decide to join the dwindling Occult and Supernatural Club on coincidence. During what was meant to be a harmless club investigation, they stumble into one of the distortion incidents, and are now entangled in a struggle against an infestation of Shadows that will decide the fate of their entire city. But even with their newly awakened Persona abilities, can they figure out the cause of all these tears in reality?

Details on any necessary information: This story-line would chronologically take place 5 years after the ending of Persona 4 (so in 2016), and will take ideas from it and Persona 3, but will not directly involve the main characters or plots. Unlike the games, this RP will stick to PG-13 and below themes, but its tone will shift from light to darker at points. There will be combat, but it will mostly be handled in RP form, with no numbers or calculations. Characters can die for story (or dramatic) reasons, but only with the player's consent, and they can sign up with another character if they wish.

Restrictions: All characters must be OCs created to fit into the Persona universe, though you may base them off of pre-existing characters from other series for inspiration. There will be no playable canon Persona 3 or 4 characters allowed, and if any appear, they will be NPC roles only.

I'd really like some feedback on this before I actually started looking for players, because I know not too many people are into Persona, but I want to make joining as friendly as possible for people that aren't familiar with it. I made this advanced for a reason though, and it'd take some effort to make the characters because I really want everyone to have a fleshed out person to work with so they can be integrated into the plot and with each other. Persona is kind of all about bonds and thoughts and emotions, so I want to encourage people to make in-RP relationships and more detailed, backgrounds to make it easier. There'd be a lot of collaboration to make everything fit together.

Please tell me if you're interested in joining despite the learning curve, or just have more questions about this. ^^
