Now that the game is in open beta what server is everyone playing on?

u_u meh, my server, Balmung, is completely full and won't allow creation of new characters. While I and my husband can play on it, none of my friends can, so we're temporarily using Couerl for now (will full plans on swapping to Balmung when it lets more people join)

I am so excited!!!! I joined last night ^^ guh it is so glorious.


I only have one character for now cause this is all super new, but I am in the Couerl server too.

I'm thinking about getting this game. How much fun is the new version of FFXIV, by any chance? I'm willing to give it a shot. and if I do pick up the game, where are guides to read up about the game? Thanks in advance.

I'm on the Couerl server. I wasn't sure what server to pick and I decided on that one.

I'm thinking of getting back into this soon. I have a few months of school left and I think that I can handle playing an MMO now. I'm just not sure if I can play on my PS console and still play with everyone here.

You can! Players of FFXIV can all play together, independent of country and of platform. PS3, PS4 and computer all play in the same worlds together.

4am to 7am PST is the best if not only time to get on Balmung.

Well that's perfect for me since i'm usually up then. but i have to let it download and i think that's gonna take a while.

OK so after a fight i finally got into my account i got the game downloaded and I am about ready to go. I have never had this much trouble trying to play a game before.


Ok so i got on the right server and i am Kai Teague. but i have a year of updates and patches to get though. I can only play on the PS since they don't have a mac version of the game out and i don't have a tower yet.

I am really loving this game but i just ran into what i really hate in MMO's some one telling me how to play my game. I the only reason i was in that duty with them was cause the game gave me no choice. really i would have preferred going though without people i don't know around and this one player kept telling me what moves to use and how to play the game! is there a place to report this? or something cause it wasn't cool at all.

You can report them for Harassment!   People who have been playing for a while get snarky and butt-like rather than letting newbies get their own feel for their roles. :/ is boo.

!! But next time you want to run a dungeon, poke at me over skype! I love running them and would be glad to go through them with you! >D and beat down anyone who tries anything negative, mwahahahaha! ((and by beat down, I mean "do not heal" >D whm revenge, bwahahahaahah))

I hope to get to play the free demo version thingy soon with you guyyyysss!!

Edit: Sorry was so excited forgot to say this part xD I too hate when people try to tell me how to play a game. Even more so when it's because they know I'm a girl and don't think I can figure out how to play awesome-ly on my own >.< I just ignore them with whatever the ignore feature is for the game ^^;;; I mean if you ask for help, that's one thing. But don't tell me how to play a certain class/character. There's multiple ways to play the same character/class, what works for one person might not work for you. So calm your boxers, bro =P

I'm a healer or DPS so I can help run dungeons as well :3

Tuesdays and Thursdays will be the best times for me personally ^^

Wow that really sucks. Most of the time I was always a lone, little lalafell fighting the evil that came my way and quickly running away from the evil that was a lot stronger than me. Unfortunately, I can't play anymore because I'm on a mac and I don't want to use bootcamp. 

I actually have by accident a couple of registration codes that i could totally see parting with if someone wants them. You'll have to be first come first serve and it comes with 30 days of play the rest is up to you. Pm me or hit me on Skype and we'll get you set up!!


Sorry guys and gals a couple of my friend snagged them first!! I've been playing with these guys for a long time on other games so it's nice that i could bring them to the Final Fantasy side! lol
